I wonder why didn't the company do a red carpet screening with Midnight Runners like Battleship Island promotion. It's not that I complain with a lot of sighting and pictures of KHN promoting his movie  it's just I think it would create more buzz thus a bigger impact of marketing for the movie.. just a lowly opinion of mine...

Anyway, can't wait to see him guesting in Running Man!

Nice to see you again, karikarin  I think they will also hold a VIP premiere soon... I guess it will take place maybe a few days  before the premiere? I checked other Lotte Ent-released movies and a few of them had the VIP premiere the evening right before the premiere. Well, let's wait a bit. I'm sure that there will be a lot of celebrities on that night..

Kang Ha Neul Talks About Filming Movie With Kim Woo Bin Before Learning Of His Cancer Diagnosis

Actor Kang Ha Neul sent a supportive message to Kim Woo Bin, who is currently fighting nasopharyngeal cancer.

During an interview for “Midnight Runners” on July 28, he said, “Maybe it’s because the movie reminds me of ‘Twenty,’ but I think of Kim Woo Bin a lot, even right now.”

He said, “While we were filming ‘Twenty,’ I didn’t know that Kim Woo Bin was fighting cancer. I learned about that after.”

He continued, “I did exchange everyday messages with Kim Woo Bin like ‘Careful not to catch a cold,’ ‘Don’t get hurt during the shoot.’ That’s why it’s even more heartbreaking. I really hope for him to get well with all my heart.”

[Interview Part 1] Park Seo-joon's teamwork with Kang Ha-neul

Actor Park Seo-joon had a lot of good things to say about actor Kang Ha-neul.

Park Seo-joon was interviewed recently in a café in Seoul. He talked about Kang Ha-neul who starred in "Midnight Runners" with him. "We didn't really know each other until this movie. I thought him to be healthy and hardworking and that's exactly what he is".

The KBS 2TV drama "Fight My Way" ended on the 11th of last month and Park Seo-joon earned himself the title, 'romance king'. In the movie "Midnight Runners", he took on the role of a strong but pure minded young man named Park Ki-joon, a student in the Police Academy. Along with Kang Ha-neul, they resemble Dumb and Dumber.

Park Seo-joon said, "Your performance with someone depends on whether or not that person is an actor or a woman. I didn't sense much difference in Kang Ha-neul from me when we first met. We enjoyed working on the movie and we acted like we were just hanging out".

"Kang Ha-neul is an outstanding actor. He's also sympathetic and manly. I don't like introverts who can't speak their mind and just resent you from behind but Kang Ha-neul is exactly opposite that. He's fun to be with".

"I loved his reaction the most about him. That doesn't happen if you don't have trust for one another. However, we tried our best to accept what the other had and used a lot of ad-libs. This is the first time I actually filmed something looking at the script as little as I did. A sequel? I'm all down if it's with Kang Ha-neul".

For Midnight Runners, as it opens on August 9, stage greetings are expected to take place in Seoul on August 11-13. On the August 2nd broadcast of SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show', he guested along with his 'Midnight Runners' co-star Park Seo Jun. Kang Ha Neul expressed, "When I was young, there was a time I was extremely fat. I lost a lot of weight, and since then, I don't eat dinner."

When DJ Jung Chan Woo asked if he didn't eat when he drank alcohol either, Kang Ha Neul responded, "When I drink, I only drink alcohol. I don't eat any food."

'Midnight Runners', an action-comedy film about two cops-in-training who witness a kidnapping, premieres on August 9.

Kang Ha Neul just didn’t hold back while talking about his first kiss!

During the August 2 broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star,” the actor looked back on his fond memories, saying, “At the time, my ex-girlfriend and I were at the stage where we just gave each other a peck on the lips.”

“One day, the peck went on for a bit longer, but I had trouble breathing through my nose due to my rhinitis and sinusitis problems. I had to open my mouth a bit so I could breathe, and it naturally turned into a kiss,” he shared, adding that he felt sorry about it.

Kang Ha Neul And Park Seo Joon To Appear On “Running Man”

 

 

Kang Ha Neul and Park Seo Joon will be appearing on SBS’s “Running Man”! The episode, part one of the show’s summer vacation special, is scheduled to air on August 6 at 4:50 p.m. KST.

In the episode, Park Seo Joon and Kang Ha Neul take on the roles of “police” — as they do in their film “Midnight Runners” — in the variety show, tasked with finding the “boss” among the “Running Man” cast. The actors do anything and everything, including dancing, acting cute, and facing off with Kim Jong Kook in a strength challenge, in order to successfully complete missions to obtain clues to lead them to the boss.

The two actors also put their endurance to the test in the show’s classic “nametag race.” Check out stills from the episode below!
