15& RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO TEASER FOR FULL-LENGTH ALBUM TITLE SONG “SUGAR”



Duo group 15& released their music video teaser for “Sugar”, which will be the title song in their first ever full-length album.

JYP Entertainment released the teaser video on the 21st of May. The song “Sugar” was written by Shim Eunji, who also wrote their songs “I Dream” and “Somebody”. The mix of motown sounds and retro feels give off a modern pop-like melody that is more than impressive.

In particular, the teaser video shows the two girls dancing and having fun highlighting their cute and youthful sides. This contrasts, however, with the black and white theme and mature voices and further builds the anticipation for the release.

15& will be performing their comeback stage on SBS Inkigayo on the 25th of May and releasing the full-length album online on the 26th. Check out the teaser below!

15&’s Park Ji Min: “I Always Go On a Diet But I Never Succeed”

Girls of 15& recently opened up about taking care of their figures, and the fact that it is not always easy.
Park Ji Min and Baek Ye Rin were guests on KBS CoolFM’s “Cho Jung Chi and Jang Dong Min’s 2 O’Clock” on April 14. Having made their comeback, the two DJs were curious as to whether the duo has gone on a diet to prepare for their activities.
When asked about going on a special diet, Park Ji Min revealed, “I always go on a diet, but I have never succeeded [in losing weight].”
DJ Jang Dong Min joked, “Are you not putting on weight to sing better instead?” to which Park Ji Min responded laughing, “Why are you being like that to me?” 
On the contrary, the DJs told Baek Ye Rin, “Shouldn’t you put on some weight? Share the food [when you eat together].” She expressed, “I came here very quickly, and I feel sad that I could not prepare for this. I will do better from now on,” and explained that she did not have the time to put effort into her looks, making her look less healthy than she actually is.

On the April 29 edition of SBS radio program 'Kim Chan Ryul's Old School,' 15& discussed their school and social lives.

Park Ji Min said, "At school, my friends ask, 'Don't you need to maintain your image?' They tell me to maintain my image. I wanted to have a bit of a friendly school life, so I approached people, but at first they would ask me, 'Is it okay for you to be like this?'"

Baek Ye Rin said, "I've always been a bit closed off to strangers, so I'd put on my iPhone headphones, act chic, lie down, or even sleep at first. But now, I got a lot more comfortable with the other kids, so I fool around and even ruin my image."

Park Ji Min said, "In the past, friends would greet me welcomingly with, 'Hey! Hey! Ji Min!' but now they don't really give a response," showing her disappointment.

15&'s Park Ji Min and Baek Ye Rin appeared on SBS's radio program 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School' on April 29 and talked about their latest song, "Can't Hide It," which was produced by J.Y. Park.

Park Ji Min said, "We actually released the album hastily. We were pressed for time while preparing and we didn't even get to film an MV, so it's a relief that the response was good."

DJ Kim Chang Ryul asked, "How did you feel when you first received [the song]?" Park Ji Min replied, "When we first heard the song from Producer J.Y. Park, it was in falsetto, so it was confusing. People around us said, 'It's nice to hear your voices,'" making everybody laugh.

He then asked what type of figure J.Y. Park was to them. Park Ji Min said he was a fatherly figure, but Baek Ye Rin said, "I would feel sorry towards my father, so I will say he's like an uncle."

On SBS radio program 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School,' 15& members Baek Ye Rin and Park Ji Min revealed how they got on the path to becoming artists.

DJ Kim Chang Ryul asked, "How did you become a singer?" Baek Ye Rin said, "I went to singing school and the director told me, 'You'd get better if you received more training,' which is how it began."

Park Ji Min said, "I started dreaming of singing in my first year of middle school. I had enjoyed singing as just a hobby. My original dream was to become a professional swimmer. Consistently swimming also helps my singing a lot."

Another guest, Park Si Hwan, added, "My dream was to be a firefighter," to which Kim Chang Ryul said, "That suits you. I really think you would help somebody a great deal."

On April 29, 15&'s Park Ji Min and Baek Ye Rin discussed the advantages of working together on the SBS radio program 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School'.

Park Ji Min said, "I'm a lot less nervous on stage because there are two of us. We even encourage each other by exchanging glances. I still get very nervous for live broadcasts, but I get a bit less nervous when I go up on stage."

Baek Ye Rin said, "It's different for each stage, but I'm much less nervous on big stages. I think I'm more nervous on small stages because the fans are closer."

Park Si Hwan gave his two cents on the adorable duo: "This is really nice to see. I wanted to debut as part of a group too, so I'm envious."

15& revealed that J.Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk bet on who wins #1 between their 'K-Pop Star' protegees, 15& and Akdong Musician.

On the May 1st broadcast of MBC FM4U's 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope', Park Ji Min revealed she wants to meet Akdong Musician in person, "Although I never met Akdong Musician, I honestly hope that we meet at the broadcast stations."

She also revealed a fun behind-the-scenes story, "J.Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk bet on who will win #1. We didn't say anything, but J.Y. Park told me, 'You have to win.'" Kim Shin Young jokingly commented, "The kids are usually nice, but there are cases when their school parents fight."

It seems Yang Hyun Suk won with Akdong Musician's winning streak on music shows with their debut song "200%", but 15& also topped digital music charts, making it hard to discern who won.

15&'s Park Ji Min raised eyebrows when she revealed she'd like to start acting on the May 1st broadcast of FM4U's 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope'.

On the 'Live On Air' segment, DJ Kim Shin Young asked 15&, "It's been a year since you've been on 'Noon Song of Hope'. What's changed?" Baek Ye Rin responded, "I learned a bit of guitar and can play now."

Park Ji Min also added that she's interested in another kind of stage, "I have a lot of interest in acting, so I'm currently preparing to start acting," raising interest.
