I know that the art film is just SM's way of trolling us f(x) fans 'cause i bet that the real title track of this album will fall a bit on the sensual category just like the choreo in the Go f(x) vid. I actually think that the clips here are from the album cover shoot. I bet SM's just trying to give us a glimpse of what to expect for f(x) comeback on the 29th and a I can tell that it will be the BOMB! In the next few days we'll get to see the real deal for this comeback and I'm excited for the girls already! About time SM give them proper promotions and a freakin' FANCLUB name!

On the other hand.. I do hope that Shinee will come over to support their dongsaengs on their comeback just like what f(x) did during Dream Girl comeback. I'd love to see more of f(shinee) and of course MINSUL moments! I'm actually hoping for another collaboration during the Year-End shows.. hahahah! I REALLY WANT ANOTHER KISS SCENE FROM MINSUL! Maybe MAMA, SBS, MBC or KBS' GAYO DAEJUNs can grant it? waaaahhhh.. wishful thinking. hopeful. <3

야한 걸그룹에 지친 가요계, f(x)가 뒤바꿀까

[마이데일리 = 이승록 기자] 최근 걸그룹들이 경쟁적으로 선정적인 의상과 춤을 내놓고 있는 가운데, 평소 독특하고 개성있는 음악 스타일로 주목 받아온 걸그룹 f(x)가 컴백을 선언했다.

f(x)의 소속사 SM엔터테인먼트 오는 29일 f(x) 정규 2집 앨범 '핑크 테이프(Pink Tape)'를 발표한다고 17일 밝혔다. 이번 앨범은 지난해 6월 발표한 '일렉트릭 쇼크(Electric Shock)' 이후 1년여 만이다.

빅토리아, 엠버, 루나, 설리, 크리스탈로 구성된 5인조 걸그룹 f(x)는 지난 2009년 노래 '라차타(LA chA TA)'로 데뷔했다. 인기 걸그룹 소녀시대가 속한 SM엔터테인먼트에서 내놓은 새 걸그룹이라 데뷔 전부터 큰 기대를 모았다. 

하지만 귀엽고 사랑스러운 이미지와 노래의 청순한 콘셉트로 데뷔한 소녀시대와 전혀 다른 스타일인 f(x)의 음악과 이미지는 대중의 기대를 깼고, 당시에는 호불호가 갈렸다.

그럼에도 f(x)는 자신들만의 음악 스타일을 고집했다. 이후 발표한 '츄(Chu~♡)', 'NU 예삐오(NU ABO)', '피노키오', '핫 서머(Hot Summer)' 등을 통해 f(x)는 특이하거나 때로는 난해한 가사, 중독성 강한 일렉트로닉 사운드로 대표되는 자신들의 음악을 개념화했다. 

지난해 발표한 '일렉트릭 쇼크'는 f(x)의 음악이 가장 완성도 높게 구현된 앨범으로 평단으로부터도 호평 받았다. 타이틀곡 '일렉트릭 쇼크'로 제10회 한국대중음악상에서 최우수 댄스&일렉트로닉 노래상을 받았으며, 지난 3월에는 북미 최대 뮤직 마켓 사우스 바이 사우스웨스트(SXSW)에 아이돌 최초로 참석해 무대에 올랐다.

이 때문에 이번 '핑크 테이프' 역시 대중의 기대가 크다. 함께 공개된 '아트필름'에는 f(x)의 새 앨범을 미리 예상할 수 있는 이미지와 음악이 담겼다.

사랑과 사랑하는 이를 처음 맞닥뜨린 순간에 대한 크리스탈의 내레이션으로 시작되는 '아트필름'은 다양한 몽환적 이미지가 크리스탈, 설리, 빅토리아, 엠버, 루나 등 새로운 스타일로 변한 멤버들의 이미지와 교차적으로 비쳐진다.

'아트필름' 배경음악으로는 새 앨범 수록곡으로 예상되는 노래 '미행'이 깔려있다. 이 노래 역시 f(x)만의 스타일이 강하게 -->느껴지는 곡으로, 경쾌한 팝 느낌의 비트와 달리 f(x) 멤버들의 차분한 보컬이 어우러져 미묘한 분위기를 자아낸다.

무엇보다 f(x)의 컴백이 기대감을 불러일으키는 건 최근 가요계 걸그룹들이 지나치게 선정적인 콘셉트로 어필하고 있기 때문이다. 걸그룹들의 노출 의상과 야한 춤이 잇따르며 그 선정성만 짙어지고 있는 게 현 가요계 상황인데, 지금까지 독특한 음악성으로 승부해온 f(x)의 컴백은 걸그
