[마이데일리 = 이은주 기자] 톱스타 현빈이 친정 MBC를 떠나 KBS 드라마의 첫 주연을 맡는다. 드라마로 1년만의 컴백.

현빈은 KBS 2TV 미니시리즈 `눈의 여왕`(가제ㆍ극본 김은희 윤은경ㆍ연출 이형민)의 남자 주인공으로 낙점 돼 오는 11월 시청자들과 만날 예정이다. 이 드라마는 한류 열풍의 진원지인 KBS 드라마 `겨울연가`의 작가와 `미안하다, 사랑한다`의 연출자가 제작할 것으로 알려졌다.

MBC 청춘 시트콤 `뉴 논스톱 4`를 거쳐 드라마 `아일랜드`를 통해 본격적으로 얼굴을 알리기 시작한 현빈은 지난해 최고 히트 드라마 `내 이름은 김삼순`의 현진헌 역으로 일약 스타덤에 올랐다. 하지만, 현빈은 현재 MBC와 드라마 계약이 한편 더 남아 있는 상태.

이에, 현빈은 `김삼순`의 김도우 작가가 집필하는 드라마 `여우야 뭐하니`를 통해 9월 브라운관 컴백이 확실시 되었으나, 캐릭터가 적합하지 않다는 판단하에 출연을 고사했었다.

이를 놓고 일각에서는 지난해 계약 문제로 갈등을 빚었던 최진실의 경우처럼 양 방송사의 감정싸움으로 비화되는 것이 아니냐는 우려를 낳기도 했다.

이에 대해 7일 MBC 드라마국 김사현 국장은 "처음에 KBS 드라마 출연 소식을 듣고 다소 황당하기도 했지만, 현빈측이 미리 KBS 드라마에 출연하겠다고 양해를 구했다"면서 "드라마를 꼭 올해 출연해야 하는 것이 아니기 때문에 잘 찍고 돌아오라고 말했다"고 밝혔다.

They do expect him to return to MBC for one more drama to fulfill his contract, whenever that may be. Also, from another article posted on the News thread, it seems that someone will die, but not HB. Sounds like it'll be his lover instead. Aisshh! Just saw him lose his love on MFL, do we have to see him suffer again?

Hyun Bin will be acting in KBS2 November drama " The Snow Queen " which was previously known as " Knocking on Heaven's door". Adapt from a true life story about the tragic life of a woman born into a rich family. Although she is born in a rich family and given the best education, she's fated a life of no freedom of her soul. The story will also be about two brothers who give up living the way they want to inherit the family business and the woman's untimely death after she faced the family's objections of her love relations.
