Shin Se Kyung, Nam Joo Hyuk, Krystal, and Gong Myung to begin filming for 'Bride of the Water God'

tvN's upcoming drama 'Bride of the Water God' has confirmed filming will officially begin on March 22.

 

Previously, it was speculated that actress Shin Se Kyung, actor Nam Joo Hyuk, singer Krystal, and actor Gong Myung were likely candidates for the drama's main cast. With confirmations that the drama will kick off production shortly, it seems the cast has also been confirmed. The above 4 mentioned, along with the rest of the cast members, will meet for a script reading on March 16.

 

'Bride of the Water God' will be written by Jung Yoon Jung also responsible for drama 'Misaeng'. Furthermore, director Kim Byung Soo in charge of 'Nine: Nine Time Travels' will be directing this next project.

 

Based on a Korean manhwa of the same title, 'Bride of the Water God' is a fantasy romantic comedy.

Lim Ju-hwan to star in ‘Bride of the Water God’

Lim Ju-hwan will star in tvN’s new drama “Bride of the Water God,” the actor’s agency said on Thursday.

“He‘ll have an antagonistic relationship with actor Nam Joo-hyuk, vying for actress Shin Se-kyung’s attention in the drama,” said Blossom Entertainment, which represents Lim.
