[NEWS] Siwon becomes to 1st Korean Celebrity To Surpass 4,000,000 Followers on Twitter

Congratulations to Super Junior’s Siwon for being the first Korean celebrity to surpass 4 million followers on Twitter!
As of 8 am on the 1st of April, Siwon’s follower count on his personal Twitter account reached 4,018,648 followers, making him the first ever Korean celebrity to pass this number.
Following closely behind were Super Junior’s Donghae, followed by Psy, Big Bang’s G-Dragon, Super Junior’s Yesung and Leeteuk and then Miss A’s Suzy.
One of the reasons why Siwon’s Twitter is so popular could be the fact that his account is rather culture-friendly, and allows for fans from all over the world to interact with him and keep updated about his current whereabouts.
For example in the past, he has uploaded pictures of himself with other internationally recognized celebrities, such as film director Steven Spielberg and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

SM Entertainment artists Super Junior, including Super Junior M, and Henry were awarded with five trophies in total at the Singapore Entertainment Awards 2014!

The ”Singapore Entertainment Award 2014″ took place May 17 at the Resorts World Sentosa Hard Rock Hotel. Super Junior won two awards (“Most Popular Korean Singer” and “Most Popular Cover” from U-Weekly magazine), Super Junior M won “Most Popular Group,” and Henry won “Top Asian Rookie” and “Most Popular K-Pop Music Video” for his solo album “Trap.“

Henry sang “Trap,” “1-4-3,” and “Holiday” from his solo album at the ceremony, exciting the crowd, and said in his acceptance speech, “I am happy and truly thankful to receive so many awards. I will continue to work hard and strive to show you the best music and performance like a ‘real man,’” referring to the MBC variety show, “Real Men,” in which he is currently appearing.

Super Junior and Henry have proved their popularity in Asia by winning 5 crowns at ‘Singapore E-Awards 2014’.

It has been an issue that Super Junior and Henry won 3and 2 crowns each at the ‘Singapore E-Awards 2014’ held in the Singapore Resorts World Sentosa – Hard Rock Hotel on May 17th, 7 p.m.

Their local popularity was acknowledged since the award was place for settling years of the entertainment field and ‘Singapore E-Awards 2014’ was its 6th time, which awards artists in 33 fields such as music, movie, TV, radio, and performance, etc.

This award made Super Junior’s hot interest realized, by them receiving ‘Best Popular Korean Singer’s Award’ and winning the ‘Best Popular Cover Award’ from the Singaporean entertainment weekly, ‘U-Weekly’.

Additionally, Henry won 2 crowns in ‘Asia Best Rookie of the Year Award’ and ‘Best Popular K-Pop Music Video Award’ with its solo-album, ‘Trap’, making Super Junior’s popularity confirmed.

Also, Henry got hot response with its congratulation stage by performing ‘Trap’, ‘1-4-3’, ‘Holiday’, etc at the awards. He got applauded by giving his thoughts about the award, “I’m so happy to receive so many awards, and I truly thank you. I will become a real guy by performing good songs and working hard”.
