Battle of the Actresses ‘Suzy-Kim Tae Hee-Son Ye Jin’

The so-called 'battle of the flowers' is continuing its fierce competition on Monday-Tuesday dramas.

With the three actresses spearheading their drama with distinct strengths, what does the public think about the respective dramas and the lead roles?

When it comes to ratings, Suzy's 'Gu Family Book' is smooth sailing with 18.3% compared to 'Jang Ok Jung' at 11% and 'Shark' which recorded 8.8%

'Gu Family Book' already has its regular viewers in place and it seems unlikely that it will give up its spot at the top despite 'Shark''s strong start after just two episodes. The general consensus is that there are lots of great choices of dramas.

Miss A's Suzy has continued on her pure, innocent image as every man's first love from 'Architecture 101' as she has played the female lead role with consistency in 'Gu Family Book.' Though far from perfect, Suzy has managed to keep the viewers at the edge of their seats with her 'it' factor, something that comes around only rarely and is not taught or learned.

Son Ye Jin, one of the top actresses in their 30s, has once again reminded the fans of her special place when it comes to melodramas. Her passionate, skilled acting in the opening episodes of 'Shark' brought up the overall quality of the production.

Kim Tae Hee is still receiving mixed reviews for her inadequate acting skills but she has definitely been on the rise since her character turned the tide and became a full-blown villain, rather than the ambiguous, constrained character she initially was.
