So, based on my understanding of CPR...I press the keypad and blow into the earpiece?

It works for some LOL. And some just puts it back in the box and tell the phone to walk it off.

Hi guys, I'm heading to HK this summer and I've been debating on whether to get a ketai or not for years and I've finally decided on purchasing one. I'm in the dark about what'll work considering I live in Canada but I'm willing to lose some of the functions like internet since I never do anything more than call and text with my current one anyways. I've been looking at the new lineups but recommendations would be great.

Im in HK right now and i'm planning to get the Sharp sh9120 because the sh9020 is way out of my budget T_T

But apparently for factory fixed keitais... not much functions have been removed...? am i right? >.<

But i'm wondering.. if some stores in Sintat are selling the sh9120.. how much do you think i can bargain it down for? LOL : )

As long as you're fluent in cantonese you can really bend some legs and get great deals; but if you don't sound local then..... yeah you get a higher price tag lol.

And SH9120c is going to be cheaper as it's a cheaper MTK built phone. Aesthetically it looks great but the software inside is a bit different. Sh9020c can be more expensive as it retains the original software but just tweaked for Chinese market.

o1honey, how much are they charging for the sh9020?

although i'm a CBC, my native language is Cantonese and no one can tell i'm not from HK if i don't tell them.

I went around almost every store and asked for the sh9020 price.. and the average price was HKD$4000- (roughly $575CAD)

I really do want the 9020, but it's too expensive for me since i'm paying for it myself =[

Thanks for the info. I was debating on the sh9020 myself. I'm a CBC too, I'm hoping I can bargain down whatever phone I'm getting a bit.

You just gotta really haggle. Sh9020c shouldn't be that bad. At least it's not the cost of buying a WX-T923 ;)
