would anybody like to practice their japanese by translating this for me?

IMGP6033.jpg

my japanese friend didn't have enough confidence in his english when he was writing in my yearbook. haha.

少しの間でしたがとても楽しかったデス!良い夏休みをおすごし下さい

It was only for a little while but it was really fun. Have a good summer(says it both in Japanese & English)

Can someone translate "worth fighting for" & "Just believe" & "Stronger" to Japanese for me? Thank you. I want to get a tattoo on one of those phrases/words.

worth fighting for = 戦う価値がある (tatakau kachi ga aru)

just believe = 信じて (shinjite)

i don't think either would make good tattoos..people usually just get single or compound kanji tattoos not phrases, like 忠 (loyalty) or 愛 (love - slightly cliche) the more kanji you have the more chance you have of chinese people laughing at you because some have a different meaning, haha. Saw someone with the tattoo for 少女 (little girl) the other day..but also means virgin

Totally agree with the tatoo's, was going to say so earlier but forgot :P

For the first trans, 間 is あいだ, (and after reading the message, that's how I read it), but the kanji is different. Is that like...super short form of the kanji (like slang, not real) or something? or what? If you know, that is :P

For the most part I can read a little bit of it, since I'm JUST learning hiragana, but umm, I don't know what it means ^^;;;

My brother suddenly brought this home b/c his co-worker needs help translating it.

Hope someone can help. THANK VERY MUCH in advance ^_____________^

Ahh..it kind of looks like the simplified chinese way of writing it, 间 jian1 (時間ー> 时间) So maybe the person is Chinese or learned chinese first..or just has a peculiar way of writing it haha most likely..don't think I've seen it written that way before

そうだね。

写真で使われている「間」は、略字です。

門の上半分、2つの日を省略して、ヽで書いてある。

あまり使わない気もするけど・・・。

しっかし。

Tamagoってば、いったいいくつの言語を知ってるの?

すごいなあ・・・。

わたしは結局、ぼんじゅ~とめるしぼくぅ~を連発しただけで終わっちゃたよ。

でもって、いきなり昨日からだんけしぇ~んの練習を始めたんだ。

あと1ヶ月しかないのに、たいへ~~~~ん。 :tears::wacko::tears::wacko::tears:

love.life - depends on how well you know 'everybody'

if you know them all well i guess you could just say 'konnichiwa minna'

but if you don't i think

'konnichiwa minna san' would be more appropiate.

oh and i've been speaking nihongo for 4 years now~~

demo watashi no laptop de nihongo no ji wo kakenai no ><;; demo tasukete ageru ne~

(but my laptop isn't able to write japanese characters ><;; but i'll help)

HERE has a lot of particles listed!

if you wish to find more about the particles "wa" and "ga", it's best to just type it in google. (:

i'll have to wait until i'm on my computer and am able to write in japanese, i could give a quick run through of japanese's major particles.

love.life: Do you need help with something specific?

Particles Websites:

http://www.timwerx.net/language/particles.htm

http://home.inter.net/kenbutler/particlehome.html

http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesArt...se.id-1428.html

The more your read about the particles and the more you practice, the better you'll understand them :)

It may be confusing at the beginning but if you grasped the meaning it will be easy.
