the 2nd "to" you mean?

i dunno if i can explain it, but if you want an "and" type of "to", i think that what you're doing needs to match up.

ie- "i like apples and cake". ringo to apple ga suki desu.

i think you need to put "hanasu" in the te form...hanashi-te kissaten ni ikimashi-ta.

i think you also need to put iku into the past-tense.

Hi. Please help [yet again...]

I can't seem to figure out why this sentence is INCORRECT in my txtbook:

私はその人と話すとに行きます。

so basically, what is wrong in that sentence? (btw if it helps, this is under lesson "~と clauses")

And also, it sounds like you said if I speak to that person I will go to the cafe. (But making it like a natural occurence, as in it would happen automatically...)

I don't know if that is what you want to say but if it is, it sounds pretty unnatural.

But if you're tying to say, "I'll speak to that person and go to the cafe" it'd be something like 私はその人と話して喫茶店に行きます。(Might be a better way of wording that...)

～て form can act as an "and" in such sentences.

私は日本語を勉強してビデオゲームをします。I study Japanese and play video games.

Using と as an and is when you're listing nouns. Like Little Mixed Girl said, リンゴとケーキが好きです。The と in that sentence would act as an "and" as it's between to nouns.

Basically what Little Mixed Girl said, but more elaborated.

と can also act as a conditional but it's more like a "if you do that, this will happen" like it's a natural occurence, sorta.

If you drink that water in that glass the glass will be empty after. Sorta thing. But that might be confusing things. XD

you wrote this in the present, but it seems like a story that takes place in the past.

if it's in the past, you need to change it to past tense.

#s 2 and 5 seem ok, 6 is the "small outside.." one.

also, i assume this is at a restaurant? so i added "restaurant" to the first sentence.

Anyhoo! I was wondering if anyone can help me understand this better? Part of my project. T_T

誰もが誰かに愛される為に What does this mean? I only understand 誰, 愛, 為に, and don't understand any of the others in between those three, lol. Are the rest particles, in 誰もが誰かに? I didn't know if される was part of 愛される; couldn't find them in the dictionary.

この世に命を煌かせるのさ In this world, life...? I couldn't find what 煌かせる meant; wasn't in the dictionary at all. >< And, does のさ do anything to the sentence? What does it mean?

それがもしも僕なら　もう一度君の心を What does もしも mean? Does it mean 'if'? And what does なら mean/do to 僕?

永遠の優しさで　暖めるよ… What does さで do to 優しさで?

If that were me, I would warm up your heart, into a kind one for eternity? It doesn't make sense very well, does it...? (Translation of the last two sentences.) ^^;;

And, out of curiousity, what does ~だよ mean? Is it like, an exclamation?

I found a translation of the first sentence (they were lyrics, haha, but, had to translate on my own/my own words without help from other English trans. out there), and this is what I found for the first line:

To be loved by someone or whoever or something similar.

Can anyone explain to me how they got that from 誰もが誰かに愛される為に, please? I've no idea how they got that. >.>

And, does なら mean anything/do something to 僕?

And really the ending verb, 乗る would go from 乗って→乗りました。（乗った if it's informal)
