So we can all start on our fan page the paper size is regular 8.5 x 11. It can either be this big or smaller. Nothing bigger cuz it won't fit in the sheet protector. I'll post up the official rules and directions later.

Thank you Eude for the detailed guidelines of the fanbook submit. It's a good idea to put some cash in our mail as donation for the fanbook cost. It's more simple.

Regarding sending the fanbook, if there will be a fanmeet, it's good idea for jhing to bring it over. Normally they will set a corner in the fanmeet venue to collect gifts from fans. (Anyway, Binus members will be informed with all the details if Won Bin confirms to hold a fanmeet so we don't need to think too much on how to send the fanbook now.)

Regarding spread the words, I think you guys know better than me the best way to spread the words in Soompi. Banner/signature is good way. I can open a topic in Wonderland to inform the English fans there to come here to see the details. For Binus, we can keep this Fanbook Project a secret so Won Bin will be more surprised and more excited when he opens the gift. I think we don't need to open a topic in Binus to talk about this project. Plus, it is more quiet in Binus recently because no news of Won Bin. The better idea is to memo the links of this page and Wonderland's topic to Binus members. What do you think? If OK I can help to memo Binus members. I roughly know the Binus IDs of Chinese fans. So, I can memo to the rest except Chinese fans.

Besides the fanbook, don't forget to prepare your own birthday gift or card to Won Bin. Every year, Won Bin will receive many birthday gifts from fans. You can see some pictures of those gifts in "Gallery" of Binus (at "Special" of the "Gallery" section). English fans are still a new group of fans to Won Bin, I think he will be very impressed (and happy too) to receive your birthday gifts.

babyelphy, about donate to charity, Won Bin is doing this already through his official goods shopping site Bin's Avenue. The profits of Bin's Avenue will go to the building of the Bin's Avenue House, and a certain portion of profits will be donated to charity too. As a fan, if the goods are with affordable prices, we can buy the official goods because the profits they get from our purchase will go to charity. Won Bin will not get a dollar from our purchase but he will be happy with our support and we will be happy for having the chance to own his official goods.

jhing, I will go to Korea if Won Bin will hold a fanmeet. His birthday is Nov 10th (according to western calendar). If there will be a fanmeet this year, it will more likely to be held in October or November. I want to meet you there! But right now I think the more important thing is he recovers and comes out to public again and decide his next work.

I think it'll be easier to make it like a scrapbook, rather than trying to get the pages all bound up. it might end up being cheaper too coz all you'll need is a scrapbook, and then whoever's collating it all can just paste everybody's individual pages in.

and are you guys planning on accepting graphics made in photoshop? I'm just thinking about those people who want to participate, but can't because they can't afford to send their page in, or they're not a part of the Kim Klan OR Binus, hence have no access the the collator's mailing address. that way, people can make their graphic with a typed message or whatever, send the file via PM or email to the collator, who can then print it out. that is, if the collator doesn't mind printing the graphics.

Ok guys i have a little problem about the fanbook. I was talking to my sisters about this and that i'm going to have to give away the address to our house but they're all saying that i shouldn't do it. I mean if they won't allow me to send out my address, how will my parents react? lol. It wouldn't matter to me if i had my own house but yea. Im so sorry! I don't have my own PO box either so that won't work. Does anyone have a PO box here? If anyone else can collect the fan pages pls.? I feel so bad i shouldnt have said i can do it before checking out the details. I'll still send a fan page myself to whoever wants to do it. I'll also donate money. im so sorry!!

Also this way if that person agrees to give their address to non kim klan or BINUS members then that would be much better right? Then more people can send in a personalized page.

Rita yea announcing this to Wonderland would be a good idea! I'll make some banners so people will know. I'll also announce this on MyBinSpace. Sending the fanbook won't be a problem. I agreee, we should keep this fan book a secret from BINUS. We want to surprise WonBin. :D

I don't have a PO Box, but if nobody else is able to disclose their address, I can volunteer to collect everything. I get everything sent to me at work anyway, so giving out my work address isn't an issue. If there are any lunatic Binnie fans who wanna stalk me, you can stalk me at my workplace.

eude--> a scrapbook is just a blank book which people use to record stages in their lives, vacations, or special celebrations like the birth of a baby, wedding, graduation, etc, using photos, stickers, poems, other decorations, etc.

Teresa ooh yay! atleast someone can collect al the stuff if no one else volunteers. Scrap book is kinda like the binder thing i was talking about too. Only in scrap books, we'll have to use glue to paste the papers while in the binder and the sheet protector, we'll slip the paper in. It's up to you guys. Ok so do you agree to let non klan or BINUS member send you the pages? If so we'll need to change the rules.

Klanners look at those sites that teresa gave. They have some ideas as to how you can design your page and make it look all pretty!

After you're done and after i've revised it (lol) we'll get someone to translate it in Korean so we can put both the english and the korean version of the intro in the book.

As we go on with all the rules, i'll repost a revision of the old set of rules for the fanbook that everyone can follow.

ooh! I'm so excited! lols. ^^. Maria as for me...umm i don't think i have anything special that i want to add in the intro. Right now im making the banners to promote the project.

Oh yeah Maria i was thinking we can also add which country we're from in section O. Then in section N (country section) we can put pictures and sceneries we took from around our place. and then by the pictures we can write where that scenery is from. WonBin will enjoy looking at beautiful pictures from around our place i'm sure of it. ^^

EDIT: I made 3 new banners for this project but we can't use it till we're done fixing and tweaking the rules and directions out. We don't want to confuse the new people coming in to join the project

* please DO NOT PM me for my mailing address unless you have your contribution ready to mail. so obviously I shouldn't be receiving any PMs anytime soon.

* about the deadline. I know we have a couple of months to go, but I want to point out that I want to have sufficient time to put everything together nicely. so I want to suggest that the deadline for me to RECEIVE everything be the 7th September 2007. regular international mail takes about 7 days to arrive. packages that have to be weighed will take longer.

Oh and about the scrap book, what size of book can you get? So we can set the maximum size of the paper people can use for fan pages.

eude--> yeah I forgot to mention. pages should be no bigger than A4 size, ESPECIALLY if it's going to be something I have to print out.

you can have more than one page to your contribution, but each page should be A4 or smaller, that way it will fit in the book for sure.

donations concealed in envelopes only. checks might be a bit too complicated...not sure what they accept here in korea. 0_o

and I don't think people need to donate a lot, just a few dollars will do so I can buy the book and some decorations to snazz it up. ^^
