Kim Hee Won Asks Won Bin If He′s Been Intimate with a Girl

Kim Hee Won revealed about Won Bin’s love life!

On May 2, MBC’s Radio Star invited Lee Se Chang, Kim Hee Won, and Narsha, holding a special episode with the supporting actors of Lights and Shadows.

In the episode, Kim Hee Won talked about his relationship with Won Bin from the movie, The Man from Nowhere. As the MCs begged to reveal something about Won Bin, Kim Hee won replied, “Won Bin really doesn’t talk much. During filming, he’s usually by himself in a corner.”

Kim Hee Won then went on to talk about how they became close, when Won Bin approached him with two cans of coffee. He said, “We talked about acting until the early morning. He is very passionate about acting.”

"But he kept talking about acting, so I asked him if he had a girlfriend. He said he really didn’t have one. I asked him if he recently got intimate with a girl, and he said no again. So I replied, ‘Forget it.’” Kim Hee Won said, causing the studio to laugh.

I found out it was just a joke that he is paring up with KTH. But I still hope they will pair up some day. Their chemistry will be dazzling seeing the best actor and actress in Korea come together onscreen. They made so many commercials together back then but they never worked together in a drama or movie. It is a pity. It is known for girls to fall for Won Bin and guys to fall for Kim Tae Hee after working with her. When these two cross path in a drama or movie, how will it be like?

Hi rise2above', he never had a chance to work with KTH maybe because WB also doesn't do any drama since a very long time now. I’m kinda still excited of this thought of him returning to dramaland! Won Bin's longtime diehard fans may refute or with different ideas but there were rumors a long time ago of him dating actress Han Chae Young. Both of course.. were in Autumn Tale.. one of their earliest work to date. HCY had the classic bad girl role but WB was awesome.. he was most memorable compared to the rest. Anyway.. it's probably just a rumor and HCY is happily married now, she was also linked to Jae Hee in Sassy Girl Chunhyang.. such a delightful series. It's a normal thing that co-stars get rumored together all the time.. mostly to sell the dramas they're in.. after all, it is still showbusiness.

Anyway.. wishing WB will be back on screen soon.. probably the silver screen. He's been away far too long since 'Man from Nowhere' in 2010 although I thought his best performance was in Taegukgi.. even better than JDG, imo.

I hope they will offer the female lead to KTH since she is shopping around for her next project.

Bae Doo Na Reveals Close Relations With Won Bin and Park Hae Il

Actress Bae Doo Na has unveiled her close relations with other top male actors, and it′s enough to make us green with envy.

On the May 10 episode of tvN’s Taxi Bae Doo Na will appear as the episode’s guest to be interviewed. During the episode, she will reveal some of her close friendships with some of Korea′s hottest actors including Won Bin, Kang Dong Won, Park Hae Il and Park Hae Jin.

She revealed Won Bin was the one who taught her how to ride a bike while Park Hae Il and her are so close, she calls him little oppa . The previews also showed her revealing she recently went on television with her ideal person and almost caused a catastrophic broadcast error, inciting the curiosity level of viewers.

Good to read about this.. WB and BDN were in Ad Madness in 1999.. loved that series, reminded me so much of university days. Many of the cast from the series.. including Lee Dong Gun, Choi Kang Hee, Yang Dong Gun, Kim So Yeon (brief appearance) have been doing well, too.

Han Ga In answers fan made questionnaire, ‘Torn between G-Dragon & Won Bin’

Actress Han Ga In‘s answers to fan questions are the latest buzz on the web.

On May 16th, an image capture of a questionnaire was posted on an online community board titled, ‘Han Ga In answered questionnaire.’ The captured image shows a questionnaire drafted by the fans and Han Ga In had answered the questions wittily and comically.

On the question, “You were born beautiful but on top of that you have great a personality and you’re smart. What do you think you are doing?”, Han Ga In answered, “I was born with it. What can I do?”, and she answered it honestly. She chose Won Bin as the actor she’d most like to work with and she made sure to get her point across by checking all around Won Bin’s photo, proving that she’s a diehard fan.

She then was asked on the limits of how much nudity she’s prepared to show on her films, “It really depends on the situation but as long as the intention isn’t to film it for the sole reason of having nudity, it’s possible. Hehe”, and she fluttered the hearts of her male fans.

About the photos she doesn’t want getting uploaded she chose all the photos 1 thru 5. She not only checked her photos, for example Thomas The Train which is famously known around her fans for the uncanny resemblance to her, but she also checked the photo which show Won Bin and Shin Min Ah kissing in a commercial, revealing her adorable jealousy.

When she was asked to choose one of two, either G-Dragon or Won Bin, she answered “Huk!”, and revealed she couldn’t choose.

She finished the questionnaire by saying, “I don’t mind if you guys give me questions in a book. I wanna answer them all. I feel that I’m alive because of the fans. I love you all”, and she signed the questionnaire expressing her love and appreciation for the fans.

Hi, I saw the news of him rumored to be in a Japanese drama or movie on Won Bin's baidu bar. Nothing is confirmed. I clearly remember while ago someone said he is taking part in a romance melodrama movie. Nevertheless, I think he is actively searching for his next project since he was away from the screen since 2010.

Ha Jung-woo, Ha Ji-won Voted Most Popular Movie Stars

Ha Jung-woo and Ha Ji-won have been voted the most popular actor and actress in Korea in an email poll by the Chosun Ilbo and the nation's largest film ticketing site MaxMovie.

Some 25,784 people voted from April 18 to May 5. The two drew 10.1 and 13.7 percent of the votes respectively. But Song Kang-ho and Jeon Do-yeon were chosen as the best -- as opposed to most popular -- actor and actress, with 18 and 23.3 percent.

Since the poll targeted online users of MaxMovie who had been to the cinema at least once last year, it probably reflects moviegoers' preferences more accurately than other surveys.

◆ Popularity vs. Acting Skills

Comparison with a similar survey in April last year reveals that people prefer actors with both acting skills and popular appeal. Ha Jung-woo soared from eighth place in the popularity list in 2011 to the top this year after he appeared in a series of recent hit movies including "The Client," "Love Fiction," and "Nameless Gangster."

New entrants on the list are Park Hae-il (fourth with 8.7 percent), Kim Yoon-seok (sixth with 4 percent), and Choi Min-sik (eighth with 3.6 percent). All the three impressed moviegoers with their acting skills in box office hits such as "Arrow - The Ultimate Weapon," "Punch," or "Nameless Gangster."

In contrast, Won Bin and Kang Dong-won, who ranked first and third respectively last year, fell to fifth and ninth place since they have not appeared in any films released this year. Jang Dong-gun and Lee Byung-hun did not make the list although they took the No. 6 and 10 spots last year.

Nine of the 10 most popular actors were also on the list of the most skilled actors, with the exception of Kang Dong-won in the former and Sol Kyung-gu in the latter.

But among actresses, only six found their names on both of the lists. Moon So-ri (fifth with 6.1 percent), Yoon Yeo-jeong (sixth with 3.8 percent), Kim Hye-ja (ninth with 2.5 percent) and Kim Yun-jin (10th with 2.5 percent) were voted as having good acting skills but not on the popularity list, suggesting that the popularity of actresses has less correlation with their acting skills than their male counterparts.

Among directors, Bong Joon-ho was picked as the best with 19.8 percent. Im Kwon-taek slipped from the top last year to third place with 9.22 percent. Kang Woo-suk and Kang Je-gyu, star directors in the 1990s and the early 2000s, ranked in the top 10 but were outperformed by Bong and Park Chan-wook (second place with 9.68 percent), who are becoming well known overseas.

Kang Je-gyu saw his ranking fall from third in 2011 to sixth (3.84 percent) this year after his film "My Way" tanked. Kang Woo-suk managed to hold on to fourth place but he garnered a mere 5.72 percent, down from last year’s 14.1 percent.

This year's top 10 list has the same names on it as last year's, with the exception of Byun Young-joo (eighth with 3.50 percent), but the order changed. "Once established, directors' recognition appears to last longer than actors," MaxMovie analyzed.

◆ Theater Attendance

When asked about their favorite ways of watching films, 82.5 percent said going to movie theaters, up from last year's 66.1 percent. Next came downloading movies on the Internet at 8.1 percent, down from 27.7 percent last year. A glut of 3D movies seems to attract people to cinemas.
