The reason is that I really hate those names, and I am most likely not naming my kids English names unless I feel they're suited for it. But non of the names above I would ever consider.

i wouldn't want to give my kid any name that's very common OR too abstract.

its not that i don't like my name (ashley), i just never liked how common it was.

The only names I can think of right now are:

For boys: Edmund (Edward is so much better!)

Bob (I don't like the sound of it :D)

Moise/moses Oo

And any old french name like Jacques, Bertrand, Jean-Pierre etc...

Teophile

Arthur

For girls: Odile (I knew three Odile in my life, I didn't like the tree of them lol)

Bernadette

Louise

Juliette

Isaure

etc...

Perferably someone I know with that name. I dont want to link my child with memories of that person if that makes sense? Even if they were good nice people I feel bad for comparing.

Popular names, common, people I dislike, etc. BOB. my friend's imaginary friend.

I wouldn't mind the name Asia actually xD. It has this ringy-tone I like, excluding the fact it's a continent...

Boy: Richard

Yeah, can't think of anything else at the moment. I just wouldn't plague my child with that kind of name when he has to go through middle and high school, which is full of insecure children who follow every single stereotype these past generations have offered to that age range.

BOYS

Jim Bob.  ( i pity the child that has that name)

Wilbert     ( its just a wtf name to me)

Edward Cullen ( all baby's being born from my generation will have this name)

Rick

Angel        (stereotypical name given to spanish babies)

Jesus       (same as Angel)

GIRLS

Yolanda

Jenifer

Maritza

Austin

Amanda   ( its my name and i would never torture my child with getting

5 other Amanda's  in her classroom)

And any other possible name that has a common sound to it its just a no......;)
