Plot

Min-seo, a 17-year old rebellious high school Korean girl, lives in a small apartment with her mother and her mother's penniless lover. She hates her

mother's lover and doesn't understand both of them.

Karim, a 29-year old Muslim migrant worker from Bangladesh has to leave Korea in a month. Before departing, he is desperately searching for his ex-boss to get his unpaid salary.

One day, as Min-suh's summer vacation begins, he encounters Min-seo in a bus, and together they set out on an emotional journey.

Woah this is the first time i heard abt mixed race collaboration in korean movie

and it looks like we have some knee-jerk objection already on the movie's Daum page,

against "corrupting" young people's minds. god forbid they should see a darker-skinned

"migrant worker" as a human being with romantic potential! (because you know, foreigners

are all rapists.)

sigh.

i support this director - he's so darn cool taking the path less traveled, looking

at people and lifestyles ignored by mainstream media (e.g. kang ji-hwan's

Host & Guest.)
