so i went from a pink 8320 curve to a bold 9000 to a black 8520 curve to a white 8520 lol

i think i like 8520 the best, but more importantly its because its WHITE!!!! i thought of getting the white 9000 but i hate that track ball o.O and the device is a little too fat for my hands.

Did you personalize/alter it? ----> yup!

If so (to the above question), how? ----> just got a zebra case and clear crystal case for it

What OS do you have? What's your provider? ----> i think 4.6? with T-mobile

What theme do you have? ----> mac snow leopard theme

Where'd you download/get this theme? ----> crackberry forum

Ringtone? ----> t-ara - "bo peep bo peep"

Text tone? ----> notifier_greeter

Hey people i just switched from my 9000 bold to the 9700 bold 2 today and i'm so loving the new berry. Anyone knows how to switch the way you view SMS texts from the new layout to the older ones on the 9000? Or is that kinda impossible?

if you're talking about the threaded text messages, then it's impossible. it's part of the new os.

if you want like threaded SMS or text bubbles like on the iphone, download CrunchSMS from the app store. it's pretty cool! im using it right now and i like it much better than the default sms layout.

^^ i hope it's the same for all blackberries, but on my 8520 i go to menu and click on the 'Setup' folder(it should be in there), and then open Set Up Wi-Fi Network. After that, just click on Scan For Networks and find your wifi, then you'll be prompted to enter a key or pw if your wifi has one. If it asks you to enter a router pin #, just skip that by clicking back or okay. Your wifi connection should connect and it should say Successfully connected. If it doesn't, just do the steps over again and make sure you enter the key correctly.

to set your phone to Wifi priority,

go to Options, and then Mobile Network.

in Mobile Network, there are 4 options. this is how mine is, Data Services: Off when roaming, Connection Preference: WIFI preferred(i think this is important), and the last two are pretty much automatic, Network: T-mobile, Network selection mode: Automatic

i am in love with the blackberry curve 8520 (: i upgraded from my previous blackberry white pearl and it's essentially the same which i appreciate. i am super glad they don't have the trackball cux ugh -__- got on my nerves. i wish i got the curve in a different color than black but i'm growing to love it since it looks really clean-cut. definitely not a bad phone (:
