Hi everyone at Soompi, i would like to dedicate this post to you. Yes you, the Wonderful that have been around despite their hiatus in Korea. Thank you for not being a flying bird fan, leaving WG behind when WG left Korea to conquer something even more. In my honest and humblest opinion, lets all face it. Its hard being a Wonderful.

A two year span in America...its not long, but its not short either. There were many instances where WG and WF were forgotten. Many WFs become flying birds and left the fandom and joined other more active and popular fandom. But you.... you stayed. And you deserve everything that WG does for us.. Just like how WG deserves us for everything they have done. In these 2 years, many events, incidents happened. People putting down WFs and WG.... Not crediting WG for everything that they have done... so much that i have lost count. You are a Wonderful. Have you ever been asked what fandom you come from? I am sure, yes. And whenever you get that question, i am sure that we will proudly say that you are a WonderFul, supporting the Wondergirls. And how many times do you get the response: "oh. *i want nobody nobody but you*" in a cold way? Friends will say "oh... cool" Best friends will tease about how WG are old already and how WG belongs to the old era... And how many times do Wonderfuls get hurt? You will always defend WG.. till the extent that we are tired from defending.. Being a kpop fan, fans will need to spazz on new material like once every few months. But you, a true blue WonderFul, survived from 2008-2011.. with only a 2 week promotion of 2DT. Its been 3 years... 3 years! I salute you.. for being different from other kpop fans.. i salute you for being a Wonderful.. I salute you for always being there for our girls. In my eyes, Wondergirls are no longer Kpop artists.. they are World Singers.

I mentioned that Its hard being a Wonderful. But we also have our own sweet times. We meet fellow Wonderfuls and become one big family. We talk to each other.. meet each other.. spazz about WG.. these are all sweet moments for us. Moreover.. the 2 years in the US also brought to WG massive benefits. They socialised.. met famous people they basically paved the way for themself..using their own bare hands and effort.. also at the same time paved the way for kpop globalisation. You.. you.. you should be proud of being a Wonderful.. cause i know WG will be proud of you. Wonderfuls in my opinion are the humblest, most polite and most patient fandom ever. You and me.. We make Wonderfuls.. and Wonderfuls, makes Wondergirls.

Hi.

Can someone please tell me whether the date of the album release been confirmed yet? I can't wait, really. It's all so exciting!  I hope more teaser pics come out soon!

I do hope that they've nice clothes this time around. 2DT was alright, I suppose, but I don't really think that it did anything to enhance the girls' beauty. To be honest, albeit I love their previous retro concepts (with the exception of 2DT which still hasn't really grown on me), I really want to see WG rock something new. I know they did retro the best, but yeah...

Sometimes when I watch other girl groups which I am a fan of, I get a bit jealous for the girls. I call it concept envy. Frankly, I'd love to see them do a rock star concept; they looked amazing in that photoshoot that they did! \(^o^)/ And I loved those pictures from when they were endorsing the jeans. So sophisticated and simple, yet oozing charm and charisma!

The Wonder Girls go Modern?

The Wonder Girls have been laying quite low for the past year and a half in the Kpop world. Their last single “2 Different Tears,” was released back in May 2010, and they’ve been in America ever since the end of promotions. Outside of their upcoming Teen Nick movie Wonder Girls at the Apollo and their US album debuting with its release, they’re hard at work with a new Korean comeback album in November 2011. This time, they’ll be ditching the retro stuff and going for something completely different.

Tell Me, So Hot, Nobody and 2 Different Tears had retro concepts, all from different eras. Nobody had a 60s Motown feel, Tears had a discotheque 70s concept, while Tell Me and So Hot focused on the 80s decade. They have yet to cover the 90s, but it’s seriously about time they got back on their time machine and headed back to 2011 for their newest concept.

JYP has already announced that they won’t be going retro for this new album. Wonder Girls going modern is about as crazy as 2NE1 wearing pink lolita dresses and pigtails, so stand back, everyone – this just got real. I personally can’t wait, since the girls have been doing the retro thing for so long, it’s almost become their signature. Sticking to a set image can get boring though, and the Wonderfuls need a change, too. Take a look at the pictures below – what do you think?

With the little black dresses, it seems they’re going to go for a darker, modern appeal, maybe similar to SNSD, the Brown Eyed Girls and Secret‘s recent concepts. Edgy and provocative with lean, black clothes and smoky eye makeup is a popular concept for good reason. Being fierce and confident is something almost all women want to be, even for a day. However, the Wonder Girls’ new concept doesn’t look as overtly sexual as it does sophisticated, refined and mature. This concept isn’t seen often, since most labels go the sexual route, as opposed to just staying classy.

What if JYP does decide to drive down that pothole filled road so many others have chosen? It can either go very well, or look like they’re trying too hard. I don’t know how seriously I’d be able to take Sohee showing some leg and gyrating like RaNia, though. Each Wonder Girls’ personality varies greatly, and even though they’ve insinuated their irresistability with “So Hot,” we’re talking about grabbing that sensuality and adding a few degrees to it. However, it’s obvious that JYP knows better, since miss A handles the concept about being mature, confident and sexy women without stripping on a pole. (Though I’m sure there are plenty of people who wouldn’t mind seeing Suzy do such a thing. With the cat ears.)

I’ll be keeping a close eye on JYP and the girls to see what their new, non-retro approach will be. Let’s hope this new concept and image will be the one to catapult the Wonder Girls back into the public eye in Korea, keep haters to the left, and make Wonderfuls happy all at once. It’s a new look and going radically different can be jarring to see at first, but I think they’ll be able to effortlessly pull this off.

Wonder Girls' Sohee's Twitter Account Gets Hacked

Wonder Girls' Sohee's Twitter account has been hacked.

On October 22, a tweet with racial slurs was posted under Sohee's account. Netizens who saw that tweet doubted that Sohee would write such a thing.

Even 2PM's Taecyeon left a reply, "Sohee, I think someone hacked into your account." To this Sohee replied, "I said goodnight and went to bed and after I opened my eyes. I saw the mention. Thank you."

Following this, the official JYP Twitter account posted, "Sohee's Twitter account has been hacked. We are looking into it right now and will take charge of it. Thank you." The official Wonder Girls Twitter account posted a similar message and thanked the fans who alerted them about this.

Netizens who received this information said, "There's no way a public figure would post that," "You have to be careful of hackings these days," "It's a relief that they will take charge right away," "I hope Sohee isn't misunderstood through this," and so on.

Wonder Girls will have their comeback in November and is currently under heavy preparations.

^So I actually check and it seem like they doing other group countdown too, is is some kind of countdown for comeback or something? I saw thing like T-ara November the 1. A-pink 10.31 . . I wonder why if it really the date, because if it is Jype should by now confirmed it.

Edit: Oh okay I use google translated and this is what they say. .
