Sunmi Wants To Test Herself

Ex-Wonder Girls member Sunmi has been accepted through a non-scheduled admission, but must now take the College Scholastic Ability Test in 2011.

On the 15th, JYP Entertainment revealed, “Sunmi has passed the first non-scheduled admission. However, because she’s studied so hard thus far, she has decided to take the aptitude test as a way of testing her efforts.”

Despite the high competition rate, Sunmi was able to pass the first acceptance slot back in October.

Her management added, “She has been [fully] accepted by Dongguk University, but we will follow her decision of wanting to try what she wants.”

After pretty boy bands SS501's & CNBLUE's calculated cajoling of Hong Kong fans, here comes WONDERGIRLS of 'Nobody' fame in Asia. The quintet is holding their 1st Hong Kong concert in December. There is only one show, with standing room provided for fans to sing & dance to the golden lyric: "I want nobody nobody but you"!

A grand 'MUL in Thailand' concert with much sought-after Kpop stars

2PM, WONDERGIRLS, 4MINUTE & B2ST held a large scale press conference & concert.

On November 12 in Bangkok, 2PM, WONDERGIRLS, 4MINUTE & B2ST held large scale press conference for a MULA (Mnet Ultiate Live in Asia) event. MULA is an amalgamation of music albums, audio sounds, live performances & TV broadcasts. More than 200 local media members were at the press conference to cover the event.

The appearances of 'Prince of Thailand' Nichkhun & the rest of 2PM; WONDERGIRLS who are coming off a successful North American tour in July; & Thai chart-toppers 4MINUTE & B2ST bowled over the media & fans who were present. In particular 4MINUTE, who was making their 4th Thailand trip, looked most at home in the environs. They were cheered on by the local fans. It was B2ST's 1st trip & they said: "Thank you for such a warm reception. We are much surprised at seeing so many fans here."

When asked about anecdotes from their North American tour, WONDERGIRLS said: "Performing together with 2PM was memorable." Group member Yeeun spoke in fluent Thai & was greatly applauded. 2PM was modest about their 5 2010 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) nominations, saying: "It is already an honor to be shortlisted." As the most popular Kpop group among the Thais, they also received a large number of gifts from local fans.

The 'MUL in Thailand' concert will be held on November 13 6pm. Thai fans at the 12,000-seat Impact Arena can look forward to 3.5 hours of great performances. [TVDaily reporter Han Chengjun]

This is my opinion. I just watching their Mnet performances on youtube (Take It)  I think Yenny and Leader Sun has the most beautiful voice on earth when it goes to ballad songs. Frankly speaking. Their voice melting me and I'm truely amazed. I saw a lot of improvement on Sohee too. Lim also never fail to impress me and Yoobin never seems to disappoint me in her raps! God, if you listen carefully Yenny and Leader Sun's voice (Take It) They make me feel like I'm floating in air! Melting!  I hope JYP or whoever writes more ballad songs in the feture coz there was HUGE potential, and so much to improve on!

I'm a bit disappointed by Melon's snubbing the Wonder Girls.

Well, they probably are shortlisting groups and artists that are part of Korea's entertainment system.

2DT has been published outside of Koreas' recording companies, managed by Jonas Group & published by Sony ATV / JYP Recordings -- past CD's where published by LOEN / Melon.

I guess that's the reason.

All in all, who cares! Our girls are globetrotters now. Their career is developing and their fans love them. When proper time comes they'll be storming Korea again^^
