Guest KAITOU KID.

^zomg I can't even imagine just "deleting" the game off lol. [i have a folder and save all the .sav files/.nds in case I want to put it back on XD

And...maybe it's just the completist feeling in me, but I have an urge to S-rank EVERY song in the game. I'm pretty sure that [A] This is not possible and It's useless, but idk haha...I've played so many songs on Ouendan and EBA and every time I miss a note or score too low, I start over lol

^lol i thought i was the only one. i have a games file on my folder too. i keep the sav files for the games i might want to play again haha

i delete games that are bad or would never touch again =P

Haha yeah, I save the sav files on my pc too xD

Oh man, S-rank everything is ridiculously hardcore :3

Has anyone ever unlocked and played the mode where you can't see the circles (as in the colour circles that shrink into the counter things are gone) for the counters? =___=

Now, THAT, is wtf-hard xD. I failed so bad.

With all the building hype, let's have a thread about the new James Bond 007 game, Quantum of Solace.

I've played the short

and it's definitely a solid James Bond title with some genre-defining features, most notably, the cover system which makes you feel more like a 00 Agent.

007qos_boxartna-1.jpg

Platforms: All

Launch Date: November 4, 2008

ESRB: T (Teen) – Violence, Some Blood

Game Type: First Person Shooter/Action

Players: 1-4

Developer: Beenox

Publisher: Activision

Quantum of Solace is the first James Bond game this generation, and will be based on the films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. The game is powered by the Call of Duty 4 engine, and is developed by Beenox who also worked the PC version. Most of the game play will be in a first-person fashion with the ability to switch to a third-person view during cover system or quick time events.

The Wii version of the game will have four players split-screen local multiplayer, exclusive to the system, in addition to the online multiplayer. With this version, you will be able to create your own character. Players may choose to use the unique Wii Remote and Nunchuk control scheme to seamlessly target and engage their enemies or they can leverage the Wii Zapper to truly step into the shoes of James Bond.

Man, when I first tried Tatakae! Ouendan, I thought it was boring...lol. Maybe I should try playing it again...you guys make it sound like it's so much fun ^_^

@ Ms. X

Thanks for giving me that hint. I searched all over the place and either never seen it or didn't think it was important. Its in a different place each time. Did you manage to unlock File 14 by solving all the queries in File 04? That was the hint that I got when I tried to look online to get past that case.

The Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! isn't as good as Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2, in my opinion. The interface and stuff looks much better and the songs are muuuch better. They could have picked a shorter game title, though. @__@;

Elite Beat Agents has nothing on Ouendan~

I just finished Time Hollow and that was probably the shortest detective-like game I've ever played... I only started yesterday ._.

But~

I get everything besides the part how Twombley BECAME Irving? I get how Irving could have disappeared but...eh? Does Twombley just go on a power trip without having Irving around and just...end up being the same as Irving? o.o; They could have explained that part a little better than with a 1,000,000 dollar explanation. @___@

^haha gotta agree on that. That part was a bit trippy, as the cash example that they gave made sense but it didn't explain how he threw the REAL Twombley out of the picture. I'm assuming he used his pen again to maybe kick the real guy out.

how hard would you say ninjatown is? I'm going to try it for sure, but I'm afraid the higher levels will be impossible to play >< I've played those types of games... but even in starcraft we rarely ever win?

Obviously the first few levels are pretty easy as it's used as a working tutorial for the general gameplay. However I'll say that around 40 - 50% completion (3/4th stage) it definitely starts to get difficult. Or rather you can't just stick your troops in random places, gotta start thinking lol. You'll probably end up replaying many levels in order to get an A on each but if you try and fail several times there's an "easy" option they offer to you.

^ I guess I'll leave it at that, too. d:

I'm having a bit of a problem with my Moonshell application on my R4.

It runs fine without a custom skin, but when I use a skin it freezes while loading up. I can't find any resolutions to the issue, so I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Or maybe it was just a problem with the skins I was trying to use. :\

ive played with japanese coach.

its good for basics, but does not really go in depth enough, imo.

this game is more suitable for people who are taking japanese 1 and needs some extra practice.

to be fair, i only played with it for about an hr and i already have 5 yrs of japanese under my belt. (i was curious haha)

^ Yeah, I agree.. My Japanese Coach is pretty good for I'd say.. Newbies at the language and those with maybe 1-2 years of learning it. I've studied for about 6 years and the beginning is really tedious. It's really good practice though. I've clocked about maybe 3-4 hours on the "game"? And I'm only on lesson 33... >_>;;

it takes a long time to master the words, though, mostly because of the mini-games. :( like, i've also learned japanese for about 4 yrs, but it still takes me some time to play that matching game... in real life, you master the words more quickly than the game can assess that.

Yea I sometimes get this error for a few games but here's a way to fix it yourself. It's super easy once you read the instructions and it's worked every time for me: DS game fix

i took japanese for three years in high school and now that im in college

^I suppose the game instructions are in english. I went to my local store this afternoon but they ran out of stock :(

I have basic knowledge in Japanese, and I can read hiragana & katakana, so this game sounds good to me :D

I saw some reviews on youtube. My Japanese Coach is in romaji....I wanna ask, are there mini-games in there that lets you read from hiragana/katakana? Or is the whole thing in romaji?

I've been playing Anpanman to Asobo AIUEO Kyoush*tsu. It's a game for Japanese kids so it's all in hiragana. I find this good practice for reading skills.

no, the game is in english. :)

some of the MC from the mini-games have katakana and hiragana, but there aren't much.

i haven't come across any kanji, sadly. :( but then again, i'm still pretty early in the game. >.<
