BRIEF SUMMARY

This drama is about highschool students who are trying to go to college. Students who are in last place try to get into Korea's Top University, Seoul University.

CAST

FT Island's Lee HongKi casted in King of Study

There is a big possibility that Lee HongKi from FT Island will be casted in SBS King of Study.

A staff of 'King of Study' said "We are discussing Lee HongKi to be one of the main leads. We are going to reveal the final cast soon."

Another staff said "Lee HongKi's Casting is almost Final. We are discussing several things."

King of Study is based on a Japanese Comic about last place students who go to Tokyo University. This drama is about Seoul University Admission Project and we will be able to see honest feelings of Korean students. It will be serious and refreshing.

After the final cast is revealed the filming will start in October.

‘타짜’ 후속 드라마 ‘공부의 신’ 제작무산

방송이 된다, 안된다 말이 많던 SBS 월화드라마 ‘타짜’의 후속드라마였던 ‘공부의 신’의 제작이 결국 무산됐다.

‘공부의 신’은 일본인기 만화 ‘최강입시전설, 꼴찌 동경대가다’를 모티브로 기획됐고 박예진과 오지호가 캐스팅돼 다음달 초부터 방송을 시작할 예정이었다.

최근까지 일본만화 판권문제가 해결되지 않아 최근 원작 없이 새로운 스토리로 대본을 대폭 수정했다.

SBS는 완성도에 문제가 있다고 판단 7일 최종 편성을 취소했다.

SBS는 ‘공부의 신’이 판권문제에 매달려 촬영이 계속 연기됐고 ‘타짜’ 종영이 한 달여 앞으로 다가오자 이날 최종 내부회의를 거쳐 편성을 취소하고 제작을 중단했다.

‘공부의 신’의 편성이 취소되면서 김주혁, 한혜진 주연의 와인 드라마 ‘떼루아’가 ‘타짜’ 후속으로 방송되게 됐다.

SBS 편성 관계자는 “‘떼루아’는 이미 촬영이 상당 부분 진행됐기 때문에 ‘타짜’후속으로 방송되는데 아무런 문제가 없다”고 설명했다.

it's basically said .. that there is a copyright issue regarding this drama..

Until recently, the Japanese cartoon does not resolve the copyright issue with the original script.. so now SBS can't start this drama without solving the copyright issue anioooooooooooooooooooooo~ i want to see honggi ... honggi honggi ~

i hope they will solve this issue sooooooooon
