I think she should qualify. She might have double eyelids, but it's hidden, so it looks single to me.

but I think I need to put more eye pencil on my eye lid,

because if else you can't see any make-up.

and I hate it! when I close my eyes, it's just.. ugly.

yeah she is but her make up artist probably has a hard time doing her make-up. hehe. but sometimes they have false eyelashes that somehow make an allusion for a double eyelid its really cool i saw it on one youtube vid. they eyelashes cross so i think the link the form shows up as a "fold"

hey girls, just wondering if any single lidders out there have problems putting on false eyelashes?

i have a hidden crease on one eye and a complete monolid with no crease at all on the other eye. whenever i wear falsies, the one with the crease is visible and curled. but the one on the other eye fold right in and get super droopy.

i think i have a really heavy lid. i've tried putting the band a little further away from my lash line in hopes that the plastic band will push my lids and the lashes will stick up more but my heavy lids just cause it to fold right back in but not as deep in the fold. how lame.

i hope someone has experienced this before and can offer some advice. since i have short lashes, the falsies give my lashes length but since it droops there is no real point in wearing them! haha you know when monolidders open their eyes and they have the shaft-straight lashes that point directly downwards and you can't even see lashes peaking out over the lid when facing front, looks just like that when my falsies droop. from the profile you can see added length but that's it.

i have some tricks of brightening up the eye rather than using the same old white shimmer eyeliner.

get a light gold colour e/s and apply it to the tearduct area and a bit underneath.

and another trick is getting an electric blue eyeliner and lightly lining the lower lash liner near the outer part.

i'll make a tutorial on how later! :}

meeh. what bugs me is when people with single lids do tutorials with tape.

it kind of defeats the whole purpose of calling it single lidded makeup.

people should just embrace their single lids. ~___~

i used to do the tape, but then it got tedious and just plain annoying.

I think single lids are beautiful. I don't understand why people go though all these lengths to get double. Having them is such a hassle. :/

I was just experimenting to create the "smoky eye" effect .. but I failed..

although it's not really the "smokey eye" I think it looks alright (:

Here's one that's extreme, really makes your eyes POP ! But it's too much for everyday wear; this was just an experiment, perhaps fun for halloween?
