K-pop Best Male Body Tournament: First Round

Summer is fast approaching here in Korea, which means it’s time for a constant rotation of K-pop idols wearing tank tops, short shorts, and swimsuits! What better time to appreciate the human physique at its finest? Whether it’s chocolate abs, a lush S-line, or honey thighs, we’re giving you a chance to check out, and vote on, some of the best bodies in the world of K-pop. We’ve chosen 48 idols who are best known for their figures, and for the next two weeks, we’ll be putting them to the test in our K-pop Best Body Tournament! We’re running two tournaments simultaneously – this one’s for the guys! You’ll want to check here for the ladies.

The first round is an elimination round where you will pick the best out of groups of three. You can vote once every three hours from now until Monday, June 8, 2 PM KST.

Rain's new Chinese TV drama Diamond Lover expected to premiere on July 22

It's been a long time coming, folks. Looks like a broadcast date for upcoming romantic comedy Diamond Lover (克拉恋人), starring South Korean megastar Rain and Chinese A-list actress Tiffany Tang may have been set! According to Chinese news outlets, the show is expected to premiere on July 22, a mere seven weeks away, on Zhejiang Satellite TV.

I say "may" because I haven't seen anything concrete to that effect from producer/global distributor DMG Entertainment or from director Chen Ming Zhang. But the media is pretty doggone excited, so stay tuned.

In other news, Harper's Bazaar China released a special wedding supplement and cover that features Diamond Lover with its June 2015 issue. Check it out!

My first thought when I saw these gorgeous pictures was, If Mi Duo and Xiao Liang end up married, why would the Powers That Be let that be revealed before the show even starts? Another thought came right behind that one. Isn't Rain playing CEO of the real luxury diamond brand TESIRO? Probably just a promotional wedding photo shoot for the company in the storyline, then.

Time and episodes will tell, yes?

Diamond Lover is one of the most-anticipated television dramas of 2015 in China and will also star A-list actor Luo Jin and young model/actress Dilraba Dilmurat. What's the plot all about? This brief synopsis and trailer from DMG will fill you in.
