Kim Tae-hee denies yet another wedding-related report

 

 

Actress Kim Tae-hee on Wednesday denied yet more reports implying that a wedding with singer Rain was imminent.

Kim’s agency Lua Entertainment refuted reports that Kim requested the inclusion of clauses that would enable her to get married during the shooting of an upcoming drama.

The initial reports claimed that Kim was considering her wedding while signing on for a new SBS drama.

According to reports, Kim had requested the contract include clauses implying that there may be developments related to her wedding while that the drama is being filmed.

The working title of the project is “Yongpalee,” and the drama is slated to air in August.

The drama tells the story of a doctor who struggles to manage the large debt he accumulated due to his sister’s medical condition.
Kim’s agency, however, said that related reports were “fiction.”

“We have not even met the production company’s officials. (Kim) is reviewing the synopsis and the script, but nothing has been decided,” Kim’s agency said.

“Nothing (in the report) is true. It is all fiction.”

Basically being a celebrity, there are instances on signing a contract for doing a project when you see some moral clauses that you can't do this & that thing......it means you're not allowed to do this until after the that project you're doing. Now, what I could say here is : Don't sign up to make a show or CF if you have a lot of freaky skeletons in the closet - you can be sued for non-disclosure.

According to a recent report from one media outlet, Kim Tae Hee is confirmed to appear in SBS drama, 'Yong Pal,' and included a wedding clause in her contract with the production crew. The article surmised that she was likely to tie the knot with her boyfriend, pop singer Rain, sometime this year based on this "update," an overall report that adds even more onto their rampant wedding rumors.  

However, the actress's agency, Lua Entertainment, stepped up on May 27 to refute the report with, "We've yet to even see the face of the production company's rep.  It is true that we received the synopsis and script for 'Yong Pal' and are reviewing it, but apart from that, nothing has been decided.

 

"None of that is true.  Everything is fiction.  As for 'Yong Pal,' we've only met one person, the assistant director."

 

Meanwhile, Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee are candidates to star in 'Yong Pal,' which is about a doctor who is rolling in debt due to his younger sister, who needs kidney dialysis. It will be airing in August after 'Mask,' which just started today.

Kim Tae Hee sparks more wedding rumors with Rain

 

 

Actress Kim Tae Hee’s contract conditions for the upcoming SBS drama Yongpalyi has garnered another round of attention with respect to the possible wedding with Rain.

According to multiple broadcasting affiliates on May 27th KST, the production team and HB Entertainment are in the last stages of finalising the casting agreement. The contract conditions have garnered much attention as HB Entertainment requested to add a condition of consent in case any marriage related event happens during the filming of the drama.

Previously, Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee were reported to be in talks for the leading roles of the upcoming drama. As it is set to broadcast between August and October, many speculate Rain and Kim Tae Hee’s wedding to possibly take place by the end of this year. However, according to an insider, the couple has yet to make the formal bride-bridegroom bow.

Earlier this year, media outlets reported that Rain has finally proposed to his girlfriend, Kim Tae Hee and has revealed that the two will hold their wedding in 2015. However, the wedding rumors were immediately followed with multiple denials by both parties’ agencies and Kim Tae Hee’s father himself.

Meanwhile, Rain is to release an album, film, and drama this year. Likewise, Kim Tae Hee has just finished filming for a Chinese film and is awaiting her filming for Yongpalyi.

Kim Tae Hee's Agency Denies Latest Round Of Wedding Rumors

 

 

Marriage rumors have circulated ever since actress Kim Tae Hee began dating singer and actor Rain in 2012. The latest wedding rumors to circulate concern her possible participation in the upcoming drama "Yongpalyi."

The rumors say that Kim Tae Hee's contract for appearing in the drama includes a clause concerning her possible marriage to Rain.

But Kim Tae Hee's agency has denied the rumors. Not only is there no marriage clause, the agency representatives told the Korean media outlet Naver T, no contract has been signed for her appearance in the drama.

"We are appalled by such reports when we have not yet confirmed her role in the drama," said the Lua Entertainment representative. "The marriage rumors are definitely false. The two are still dating and it's going well but they do not have any marriage plans."

According to the agency Kim is still reading the script for "Yongpalyi and has not yet committed to taking the role. She has never mentioned any contract clauses.

"Yongpalyi" tells the story of a man who becomes a doctor but is crippled by debt because of his sister's dialysis treatment. The drama is set to air after "Mask" ends in August. Joo Won is also considering a role in the Wednesday-Thursday drama.

Despite the agency's repeated denials that Kim Tae Hee and Rain have no immediate plans to marry, the rumors continue. The previous round of marriage rumors took place in April 2015 when a Korean news outlet reported that both sets of parents had met and given their permission for Rain and Kim Tae Hee to marry. The news outlet also reported that the couple was making wedding arrangements, including booking a hall for a ceremony some time in 2015.

At the time the agency denied the rumors, saying that Rain never attended a meeting with both sets of parents. The agency also said there were no wedding plans.

When Rain sold his home in Seoul's Samseong neighborhood that same month, it was also rumored that he sold the house to fund his upcoming wedding.

In June 2014 rumors were sparked when actor-singer Rain converted to Catholicism. Since Kim Tae Hee is Catholic, it was seen as preparation for an upcoming wedding. Both stars' agencies denied that a wedding was being planned.

The couple began dating late in 2012 but revealed their relationship to the public in early 2013. Kim Tae Hee's last k-drama role was in "Jang Ok Jung: Living For Love." She also appeared in the Chinese TV drama "Wang Xizhi." Rain's last drama role was starring in "My Lovely Girl" with f(x) singer Krystal Jung.

The Won Bin/Lee Na Young Wedding Prompts More Rumors About A Rain/Kim Tae Hee

Last week representatives for Kim Tae Hee and Rain dismissed the latest round of rumors that the celebrity couple would marry. Then actor Won Bin and actress Lee Na Young wed in a secret ceremony. The Won Bin/Lee Na Young wedding took place less than two weeks after Eden Nine, the agency representing both actors, denied rumors that they planned to marry and that Lee Na Young was expecting a child.

At least the wedding rumor turned out to be true. On May 31 Eden Nine released photos showing the couple's picture-perfect country wedding.

This promptly set off a new round of the Rain/Kim Tae Hee wedding rumors. Only five days ago Kim Tae Hee's agency denied rumors that the actress included a "marriage clause" in her contract for her upcoming drama "Yongpalyi." The supposed clause would allow her to take time off from the drama's filming schedule to get married.

The agency denied the existence of such a clause and said negotiations over the drama had not yet been finalized. There could not be such a clause because there is not yet a contract.

Even if such a wedding was in the works and Kim's drama schedule would permit it, Rain has a busy schedule ahead with film work in Korea and the U.S.

The actors' agencies also denied a rumor that the stars' families met in April and blessed the union. Rain's agency, Cube Entertainment, denied that any meeting between the parents took place.

But the rumors keep coming. According to the Korean media outlet Sports Donga, the latest round of rumors say that Rain refers to Kim as his "life companion" and that his father has spoken out about how much he wants to see his son marry Kim Tae Hee.

Rain, last seen in the drama "My Lovely Girl," and Kim Tae Hee, whose last k-drama was Jang Ok Jung," met when they filmed a commercial. They have been dating for three years. They have denied wedding rumors since they first went public with their relationship. Rumors were sparked when he converted to Catholicism as it was seen as a prelude to their marrying. Rumors were generated when he sold a home he did not actually live in and again when they vacationed together.

Since the stars continue to deny wedding plans, fans will have to wait and posssibly plan to be surprised.

Rain Wins Lawsuit against Former Tenant

 

 

Superstar Rain has come out on top in yet another lawsuit against his former tenant.

The tenant in question is a 61-year-old designer, identified simply as Park in reports, who used to run a gallery in a building owned by Rain in Gangnam.

Last November, Rain filed a lawsuit against Park for leaving piles of clothes and garbage at the building and refusing to remove it.

On June 2, the court ruled that Park must remove all their waste from Rain’s property.

Rain and Park have been embroiled in a series of lawsuits over the past several years. In 2009, Rain took legal action against Park for failing to pay rent, which led to their eviction. In response, Park filed a lawsuit against Rain under claims that some pieces of art had been damaged due to a water leak. The judge ruled in Rain’s favor, and Park was later fined for protesting in front of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office.
