9 Underrated K-dramas you probably haven't seen

There are so many amazing K-dramas out there, but sometimes it seems like we talk about the same few dramas over and over again. I know I am definitely guilty of this! But there are a lot of other amazing dramas that often don't get enough credit in our Dramaland discussions.

 

Some of these dramas were fan favorites when they aired but have fallen to the wayside as other new dramas are released. Others never quite got the recognition or fan base I think they deserved. Hopefully you'll be able to find a drama you've never seen on this list and will fall in love like I did! 

And if you have seen some (or even all) of the underrated dramas listed below, you are a drama watching superstar! Hopefully this article will bring back some good memories of watching these fantastic dramas.

So below, listed in no particular order, are 9 underrated K-dramas that definitely deserve more love!

7. A Love to Kill

This drama is definitely not for the faint of heart. But if you like intense melodramas that will keep you thinking long after the drama has ended, give A Love to Kill a try! It is from 2005, so it has become a bit dated, but the Rain eye candy definitely makes up for that! This is one of my favorite Rain roles because of the depth and difficulty of the character he portrays. He really proves himself as a fantastic actor.

​Hi azuvilla, thanks for sharing this reminder......It's RAIN's birthday on June 25................About JVJQ event next month, so nice to know that I guess this company also renewed his contract, same as what happened to Mentholatum. This company, which produces hypoallergenic cosmetics, a cosmetics brand for women and RAIN was to endorse its products over 4 years. –  (from 2011 – 2014) The period of his contract covers the term of his two-year military service. Though  there is no formal info, but this I guess can be surmised that his contract was extended and renewed.

Kim Tae Hee’s Agency Denies Marriage Rumors Stemming From Upcoming Drama

 

 

While a recent report was released stating that Kim Tae Hee had certain negotiations in her contract for her participation in the upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Yongpalyi” (working title), the actress’s agency denied such rumors.

On May 27, one affiliate of the drama department stated that Kim Tae Hee’s contract had a clause wanting the crew of “Yongpalyi” to be understanding if a marriage between her and her boyfriend Rain were to happen during the filming of this drama.

However, a representative of Kim Tae Hee’s agency stated, “We are appalled by such reports coming out, when we didn’t even confirm her role in the drama. [Kim Tae Hee and Rain's marriage rumors] are definitely false. The two are still maintaining a good relationship but they are not getting married.”

Another representative said, “Their marriage hasn’t been discussed yet. [Kim Tae Hee] is only in the process of looking over her role [for 'Yongpalyi'] and never mentioned any contracts.”

Meanwhile, actor Joo Won is also in talks of joining this drama.
