Hi iloveyoonho - this Four Seasons drama has no formal announcement yet from RAIN/JTune but this was previously reported that the production want him to be casted here with JJH. If the filming has started & that's according to you, I don't think he'll be a part of it. But he mentioned in one of his interviews that he's considering to do a drama again this year. We'll just wait & see.....

10) Ninja Assassin/TBA 2009- This is a Wachowski film in production credit only. It's being helmed by Mr. James McTiegue, the guy that brought us V for Vendetta. Sure I felt that V was hardcore persecution porn for the left-leaning politicos of our society - I'm sure Jenine Gerafalo had to wring out her granny panties when the flick concluded - but it was a very kick-richard simmons persecution fantasy.

Ninja Assassin however looks positively delicious for those that enjoy a healthy diet of bloody Hong Kong cinema. A modern day Ninja, Raizo, hunts down and battles his own ruthless Ninjitsu clan, to save a girl, (Naomi Harris) in the streets and tenements of present day Europe.

Count me in.

Ilan Eshkeri: From Time to Time

Ilan Eshkeri, the composer of the epic orchestral score for Stardust, has been hired to compose the original music for From Time to Time, a fantasy adventure based on Lucy M. Boston's book "The Chimneys of Green Knowe." Julian Fellowes, who wrote the script for the upcoming The Young Victoria which is also scored by Eshkeri, directs From Time to Time for Fragile Films. Carice van Houten, Maggie Smith and Eliza Bennett are the top names of the cast.

Ilan Eshkeri is currently putting the final touches to his score for Ninja Assassin, to be recorded in Berlin next

week, and after that, before From Time to Time, he is doing the music for Kick-richard simmons, the new film by Stardust director Matthew Vaughn.

According to a Taiwanese Newspaper, while snow is falling over Korea and everyone is busy celebrating Lunar New Year, idol groups TVXQ and SS501 have no breaks and are busy performing in Japan. Rain, on the other hand, flew back to Korea from Australia to have reunion dinner with his father after completing his CF shooting.

Rain flew back to be with his family and to do promotion activities for his concert shortly after finishing filming in Australia.

Last year in August, Rain purchased a two story building (1024m sq) in Seoul that cost 15,000,000,000 won, or a little less than 11 million dollars. At the time Rain was said to have been planning on using it to run his own entertainment company, but guess not. He’ll be turning it into a “Rain café”.

The renovation and interior designs of the café will cost about 2,000,000,000 won, or 1.5 million dollars. Rain is conducting this business separately from his entertainment company, but his rep stated that Rain has always wanted to open a “luxury café”. Now his dream (or one of his many dreams) is about to come true. Rain has already used his fame(?) to launch his own clothing line, Six to Five.

Rain is preparing to open his own cafe.

It is known that Rain is expected to open a high-class cafe in the commercial building purchased under the style of Rain, located in Cheongdamdong of Kangnamgoo.

One of Rain's side expressed, "Recently, Rain met an interior designer and inrushed into a definite preparation. Rain has long wanted to have a directly designed cafe by himself."

The building which Rain's cafe will be opened in, has two floors above ground and one underground, its total floor space reaches 1,024 m2(11,022 ft2).

Its price was allegedly quoted over 15 billion won (about 11 million dollars)during the time of economic prosperity. Also, the cafe guaranty money & premium including the interior expenses are estimated at 20 hundred million won (about 1.5 million dollar).

JTune entertainment, Rain's agency, expressed about this, "Rain's cafe is completely distinct from JTune and is personally going on by himself."

RAIN EXPANDS HIS BRAND TO A LUXURY CAFE

Singer-actor (-model-entrepreneur-businessman) Rain is adding yet another title to his string of multihyphenates: Café owner.

A space was bought last year in the upscale Cheongdamdong neighborhood and is located in a shopping district; the soon-to-be “luxury cafe” takes up approximately 1024 square meters and occupies two stories. Not content to merely own and operate the place, Rain also wants to design his café himself, and is currently meeting with interior designers to prepare the space for opening.

Rain released his fifth album, “Rainism,” last year and is currently still at work promoting it. He plans to embark on an Asia tour sometime after March, after which his Hollywood film Ninja Assassin releases.

Yeesh. Cafés, entertainment companies, clothing lines, albums, movies, soundtracks, ad contracts, concert tours… At this point I think Rain must think he’s superhuman. Or maybe he IS superhuman. But it makes me wonder if the guy is freaked out merely by the prospect of soothing, lonely silence.
