While I love rock music and there are lots of heavier rock songs I like, I don't really like heavy metal or heavier genres of rock as much.

i like all genres...except for fake artist..the one dont sing live..just flaunting their good looks and dance....for short i hate Gaybands.. like F4 ,anything korean (mostly of them are pop anyway..but not pop like michael jackson or maraiah carey that REALLY sing their songs) etc... these performers are a shame to asian music scene...shame shame shame

That's the technical definition of it.

Indie is a genre because that is what the masses label it as. Think of it as slang but more definite.

Anyway, America is giving rap and hip hop such a bad name. Cause I bet you all hate rap because of 50 cent and Snoop Dogg or whatever. Deep down underground there are some really respectable Hip Hop groups.
