wow there is a REAL Terroir Restaurant? logo is the same as well!

i was able to watch EP1... really good!

i agree Hyejin's character was a bit foolish, or childish should i say. and wow Joo Hyuk speaks a lot of french in this episode... he must have taken lots of french class. he looks really fluent in it already :P

some spoilers ahead

Taemin was sent to France to search for this one of a kind wine. Chateau (i didnt get the year). he was going through a lot of mess and suddenly finds info of one man selling. he receives news that his daughter was ill so he tried visiting the girl but to no avail. the owner still refuse to sell it to him. the owner intended to sell the wine to someone else and was going to the hotel. Taemin tried to stop the transaction by ringing the fire alarm. while the seller was escorted out of the hotel by guards, Taemin already took the driver's seat, locked the car doors before the others get in the car. the owner got in the car first. so he brought him at some underground place was able to buy the wine in exchange of some precious antique i think? i dont exactly know what was the thing. the men soon followed them and began chasing Taemin who ran off with a parked motorcycle.

on to Woojeong's story..

she lives in a traditional korean home (the one with orabonims and priced food containers) so they keep precious wines and maybe runs a soju business. she suddenly receives a call from her bf who wants to break up with her. she was shocked and immediately leaves for france. her friend accompanies her to the airport while her grandpa frantically looks for her. anyway she does reach france and goes to the place where her boyfriend is staying. she tries to knock but no answer. she barges in since the door wasnt locked and sees a silhouette of a man taking a shower.. LOL she mistakes it for her bf and makes this kiss gesture as he got out. lol it was the bf's roommate. anyway the bf enters and she was more than glad to see him. she spreads her hands wide, signaling a hug but the bf hugs the roommate (yes a guy!) instead! but of course it was just an act. waahaha Woojeong was surprised to know that her bf is gay. she sat on the floor and as she bent down, she saw this wine bottle (i think she gave it to his bf when he left for Korea) it wasnt opened yet and it hurt her feelings, so she took it back. she decides to go back to Korea and bf said he'll pay the airfare. lol Woojeong changed her ticket to business class :P (for revenge i suppose).

the meet.

since Woojeong was depressed at the sight of his gay bf... she was wandering around while Taemin was speeding up on the bike since he was being chased. he knocks out Woojeong and she fell on the floor. well both of them actually. since Taemin was in a hurry he grabbed to the wine box that he saw (which was Woojeong's) and ran fast. yes they interchanged bottles. as Woojeong opened hers, she was suprised to see it was different. a penniless man suddenly teases her and grabs the bottle from her and opens it. as he was about to drink, he was surprised to see the label. he must have known it was an expensive wine. Woojeong, clueless as she was, grabbed the wine back and drank them. at first, she didnt like the taste, but later on finished it anyway. Taemin on the other hand looked at the box and seeing it was different got disappointed. he gave the wine to his girlfriend (who was working in france also.. she was the girl patient who was bugging Cha Tae Hyun in GH2). so he had no choice but to go back to Korea emptyhanded.

at the plane.

this is some twist of fate. anyway Woojeong and Taemin sat side by side on the plane.. funny thing is Woojeong suddenly cut her hair short (i dont know where the hell this happened) but because of that, Taemin didnt recognize her. Woojeong kept bugging him, asking him if he was korean and that she was depressed and all. Taemin shuts her up by saying he's tired and wants some rests. Woojeong complains that she's tired too since she just broke up with her bf. so Woojeong falls asleep and kept on leaning toward Taemin.. haha. the plane was experiencing some turbulence and asks the passengers to fasten their seatbelts. since Woojeong was sleeping, Taemin fastened her seatbelt for her.. and Woojeong wakes up, calls him a maniac and gives him a slap!!

LOL. the end :P

this drama looks fun. it starts with some twist of fate.

i agree! it was well-paced... and Han Hye Jin was overly cute in her role. lol.

remember the arranged date and her date was talking about wine for two years. she got fed and and left her date. when asked by her grandpa, she pretended to be vomiting :P

Kim Joo-hyuk is simply yummy in his here. I thought HHJ's character was kind of annoying though. She needs to tone down on her exaggerated acts because it feels like she's trying really hard to act cutesy when less is better. But then that's me. I think the storyline was kind of exaggerated too ... I'm having a hard time buying it. Oh well ... hopefully it picks up.

When it comes to MBC and SBS, I never try to watch it live. The HQ comes out within an hour or so anyways.
