when JW and his friend was talking at the security guard's room... he admitted why he can't be with SH

because he feel that he's not eligible for SH's love due to where he came from, why he was abandoned, who

was his father etc etc...

so the scene where SH was asking JW...

"do you have something to say??" (implying if he has feelings for her), SH didn't get an answer

but for me, for us the audience, we felt the pain that JW probably went through in that scene... he desperately

wants to say "yes, i've fallen for you" but he couldn't...

JW's story...his life is a big gamble...this is the central theme of STS...

JW will put everything in... he will place all bets... ALL IN... to win...

I agree with what you have written 2uss. In this scene, a somewhat romantic location, I was hoping (but knew better) that they would make a connection...but sad to say...no. Then the scene where JW sat alone in the dark and cried - those single tear drops - tugged at my heart strings.

The ending action at the Valley of Fire was something. Suddenly, you have these paramilitary guys come out and start shooting, bullets flying and our JW saves the King. Off he drives to the dry lake beds trying to get away from the "bad guys". *whew*

how come no UNLV pictures?? i know...the parking is probably horrid there at the campus

but regarding SH and JW...there is a connection, maybe in SH's eyes and perception there seems to be no

connection with JW at all...but ever since ep 3, we, the audience know of the connection for both JW and SH...

translating that to the equation of 'love' between both...we'll just have to wait as the story develops even further

Yes, I know! But since she lives there, I thought maybe she might have gone to some of the shootings at the time the production crew and cast were there...I think it was known that they were there for awhile.

TRUE, I know what he said to his friend but the live he lived as an orphan kid; he didn't choose it neither he chose his parents, so I think he better not disqualified himself as not the man that SH deserve, cuz love doesn't know all these things..

well it's a drama so it's normal for all this complicated things to happen

Sorry for this late reply....

Unfortunately, with my schedule, I was not able to seek them out. My friends, who work in the casinos, told me about the filming, but since they are not K-drama fans, I couldn't get them to take any pictures or get autographs. *sigh* I heard they did a lot of filming late at night/wee hours of the morning. When they were here, the temps were quite hot and yet they all look so cool.

2uss - didn't get a chance to get to UNLV. Parking is a beast at the campus. I'll put that on my next mission.

I'm trying to figure out the apartment complex they used for SH.

As for some of the hotel locations, I cannot access them but do know of them. For example, when Jackson and crew went to meet the African King, they were in the Mansions at the MGM. The Mansions are usually reserved for the high rolllers/VIP guests. They have butler service as well. The one Mansion I visited had a kitchen, formal dining room, living room, grand piano, indoor pool/jacuzzi and a spiral staircase. Marble throughout. It was awesome. From what I can see, JW and guys are staying in the Sky Loft at MGM. The one loft I visited didn't have a kitchen like the one in the drama. And of course, the dining area at the Bellagio where JW and SH enjoyed their meal is a nice place to dine, enjoy drinks and have front row seats for the water show.

While it seems JW+SH romance is off (not that there's compelling reason to be excited about ...heck, it’s a spark-less romance anyway), can’t wait to see more action and fireworks this Wednesday.

Arcane as it sounds, am left wondering about LSC, the only person who holds the key to the JIH=KMH equation.

Though we know JIH is very much in that picture, a prison guard to end up behind bars meant something awful happened where he's either directly/indirectly responsible for:

1. SH+parents property loss and/or demise?

2. JW’s mom life and untimely(?) death?

3. TH+mother's fate and origin as well?

We know LSC paid dearly with his life, but was he blackmailed or offered money for all his deeds and/or asked to keep mum about JIH/KMH? ….what was the tradeoff?

I hope there will be clues in the next eps more than the action packed spectacle and the “Vegas dry” love triangle.
