I was surprised to see him in different dramas on different channels during the same week. Maybe he filmed this one well in advance... His look in this drama and in Spotlight are sooooooo different, at least to me.

Here's the character description... Time to go back to my kindergarten reading...

This looks like a romance story but I honestly don't know what this is about. Can someone provide an english summary (please )

the story roughly goes like this :

7 years ago , Lee Soojin (Kim Sa rang ) an actress was sick of her acting career and run from the filming location whie in Tokyo , she went into hiding in a sushi resturant . That is where she met SuHyun and fall in love

7 years later , she had become a famous actress yet she now returned to find her first love . the love that was like a sudden shower from the clear sky . brief yet passionate .

according to the character description i read , it say she is someone who always run away from problems , that was her only way of solution .but after getting famous . she had changed (i guess she have become tougher ) anyway .she cant forget that love with Suhyun which was unforgetable even though it was so brief.

Kim Tae Woo plays the role of the first love .who had come to Japan for ten years to train to be the best sushi chef ..he is highly regarded by the students from korea as their hyung .and also he is a man of few words . yet the only woman who can make him simle was Lee Soojin and he never forget her till now .

Jin Goo play the role of someone who ruined their relationship as for money he exposed Lee Soojin to the media ?..he is a korean student in Japan for studies .but got himself obessed with gambling ? er did he play pachinko ? anyway that is how he got into money problems

seem like quite a sad story ...actually i am interested because i se Kim Tae Woo in this .~^and Jin Goo too plus japan and its cherry blossom . i am just not too sure about Kim Sa Rang , the image of her in Kill That Love is still with me -; .i will see how this goes . 4 esp cant be too long .

Is anyone taken to Yuki yet? She is sooooo adorable!!! Apparently, Hyeon-su is her boyfriend and she doesn't like it when when her grandfather told her that Su-jin will be helping Hyeon-su out. She had the audacity to order Su-jin to stay 1m apart from Hyeon-su. She even called Su-jin a stupid kid and said her name is weird... :lol: So cute!!!

Finished watching ep02, thanks to poptartsgurl.

Hyeon-su and Su-jin being in love were shown. However, Hyeon-su finally found out about Su-jin being a runaway. He packed her bags and wanted to take her to her manager but Su-jin refused. She said it's no use even if she goes back cos she can't act. She can't shed a a single tear when told to. Hyeon-su doesn't care and told Su-jin to go anyway. Su-jin asked if he doesn't like her, if he won't feel hurt by her leaving. He said no but Su-jin doesn't believe him.

Hyeon-su went drinking at Eun-bi's bar and got drunk while listening to Eun-bi' singing. God! That voice! Su-jin met him on his way back home. She listened to his rambling about his mother. Finally he said something about having her by his side is very [?]. I didn''t get the last part. They reconciled, much to the dismay of Yuki who hid the seat of Hyeon-su's bicycle just so the two lovebirds won't be able to ride together.

Sang-kil was beaten by the thugs again when a live telecast appeared on the large screen with a man claiming to be Su-jin's fiance appealed for her return. Both Hyeon-su and Su-jin also saw the telecast. Su-jin treid to explain that the engagement was her parents' doing and not her own. I didn't really understand the whole convo but when Hyeon-su didn't accept her explanation, she asked why does he love like that; why did he make all those promises to her. He replied that he didn't know that she's engaged to be married. Su-jin got angry and shouted why didn't he believe a word she said. She told him abt her life before meeting him. I think he asked will she regret being with him and she said no. They hugged.

I think something troubles Eun-bi. From what I can understand, she told Sang-kil she cannot afford to pay something. Her college tuition probably?

Hyeon-su and Su-jin went to have a look at a place found by Sang-kil for Hyeon-su to open up his sushi restaurant. Hyeon-su thanked Yuki's grandfather for teaching him. Yuki gave her school uniform button to Hyeon-su. Hyeon-su explained to Su-jin the significant of the button when it comes to love. Hyeon-su and Su-jin went on an overnight trip to this very beautiful place. I think it's called Shinomiya or is it Shinoniya....?! The place is full of blooming cherry blossoms. Makes me wanna go there too...

Tragedy awaits their return.

Su-jin's manager was waiting for them with a couple of goons and a police car too. Ki-young told Hyeon-su not to contact Su-jin ever again... Hyeon-su saw Ki-young gave money to Sang-kil. :fury: When they left, Yuki gave back the bicycle seat to Hyeon-su and he went after Su-jin on his bicycle. He tore off his shirt button and gave it to her, asking her to wait for him. The episode ended with Hyeon-su looking at the back of the van that carries Su-jin and calling out her name softly...

I'm sorry if there's any inaccuracy in the translation since I'm not Korean native.... As for spelling, it's 5am here and my eyes are droppy... miahn.

thanks for the write up on esp 2 . the cherry blossom scenes look so beautfiful

i dun know , i think the story is just okay .the exchange between the two er .some of the lines seem like too overdone. and how can a sushi chef let a stranger and someone with no experience touch the knife -- and bring her to the fish market . it doesnt seem to fit what i think i know of the japanese strict rules .--;

. .if it was filmed for a MV , it will be better some stuff just seem so not logical..--;; oh and when he shout to say dun simle at other men and him that way . i really think he seem like a psycho and was like huh er where did that came from ..all of a sudden the jealous came so swift , did he have some bad history or something ? .and it was like only a few days they met , er i think they want to stress on how fast the attraction between them ..-;

though .there are some poetic lines ..especially about the clouds weeping behind the sun .that was why you have a rain when the sky is clear . i am just abit interested in how they met , seven years later .

How old is child Yuki supposed to be? 11? 12? Cos I'm guessing that 7 years later, she gonna grow up and Erika Okuda is gonna be the grown-up Yuki... Just a hunch.

The cherry blossom scene is heavenly! All those blossoms... I have never seen anything so beautiful...

Did she prepare the sushi as well? All I remember was Su-jin doing menial work like washing dishes and cleaning tables. I didn't remember her cutting the fishes... As for bringing her to the market, well that is also no biggie. She's just helping him carry the fishes. He still the one doing the picking.... Maybe the strict rules doesn't apply to their restaurant since it's such a small establishment.

That is a nice poetic line. My Korean is still very, VERY basic. It would be nice if this drama has subs so that I can fully understand the whole story.
