Wow... I haven't been here in a looooonnnngggg time... The old regulars aren't here anymore huh? Sad. Well nice to meet u all... and the official cast will be announced on the 27th? :w00t:

were all still here S babe...we just don't post as much as b4 :D

so i guess July 27th is D-Day. i'm glad that they're making an official announcement in 2 days

it's time to know for sure whether they are or aren't coming back. i don't want to wonder anymore -_-

i'm hoping for the original cast to return, but if it turns out that they don't...i'll support them anyway

in whatever else they end up doing, like YEH in VM...but then i don't think i'll watch Season 2.

Hi! This is my first time to post here although I've been lurking for some time already. :) I just love Goong and I've been watching it over and over again. I especially love JJH's portrayal of Shin Goon. He's the perfect epitome of a dashing prince. :blush:

I just watched the first episode. Honestly, it wasn't any good. I don't get what the big deal is.

Does it get any better? All I see right now is mediocre acting and weird poses.

well i kinda agree with you, i guess its up to the viewing public how they will accept it. Because of all the controversies, it made people more curious as how the version will live up to the original. I think you could compare it to Meteor Garden and Hana Yori Dango (Japanese version of MG)... same plot line different character names..

Oh!...I forgot about Meteor Garden and Hana Yori Dango that was a good example... But if you really think about is the concept of Goong/Princess Hours really original...I mean how many times have we all heard the same old story about a poor unknown girl fallen for a rich prince...I think those kinds of stories have been around for ages...What makes them speacial and kind of different at times is how the same story can be changed slightly enough to keep the readers interested....Like how Meteor Garden and Hana Yori Dango were based on the same story but had two different tv drama endings...And to tell you the truth I liked both endings...I even enjoyed how the writers kept the heart of the story but changed each story a little in the drama to make it seem at times unique...

As for the Goong/Princess hours version being made in other parts of the world I think it does more to help draw attention to the original then do harm to it... Though I hope the other version being made atleast change parts in the story and not copy every darn thing :unsure: like they are doing now...Because it makes them look really bad...

When I saw the first episode I thought the same thing and even for a time didn't want to watch the series...It was not until I kept watching a few more episodes and go into the story...It gets really good after a while I think it's because the actors on the drama become for comfortable around each other and being to play there parts rather well...

The first episode of what? Is it Goong or YEH's new TV series? Because if it is the new series, I suggest that you talk about in the new series' thread. The moderators here are quite strict :) just a friendly advice :)

i cant pin the source, but i believe the cast is the same.

I really hope the whole cast will be back. Let's all wait in vain for the final announcement tomorrow. And let's all pray hard! Hehehe. I want the whole cast to be back! Goong will never be the same w/o the original atists.

i agreed with you. Goong 2 wouldn't be good if the old casts don't return... right now, i'm just praying that it'll remain the same....

　　他对《宫》剧毫无保留地大为赞扬，并强调“《宫》是一部很了不起的电视剧。它用一个虚构的故事赢得了大家如此热烈的反映，这是非常不容易的。 ‘宫’的剧情并不是现实中我们能遇见到的故事，它完全是假想的故事，所以电视剧能否被大家接受和认可，对全体剧组的工作人员来说是一个不小的负担。”

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll watch it now. I would have been really disappointed if I had spent a week downloading it and then deleting it right after.

I sooo miss our thread! I think Goong will be shown after My Girl is over here in the Philippines! I can't wait! I mean, I've seen this series for so many times but I still can't get enough. I will never get enough!

Hello everyone! Hope all of you are okay. I haven't been here for quite a while. This is a little off topic but I saw LDW and I even touched his arm! Waaaah! Anyway, I hope they'd bring Joo Ji Hoon or YEH here too! I will definitely find a way to see them live!

I really hope that Goong will be shown here in the Philippines soon! For sure, many Filipinos would love it! I'm also hoping that JJH and YEH will be invited by ABS-CBN like LDW! (OT: I also touched his hand last Saturday! hehehe) Maybe we could make our own petition, just like what the other fans did with My Girl.. :P

I just finished watchinng this Drama it was dragging a little towards the end but the last two episodes were so great, i felt the ending was so nice, I was sad as i was watching the ending, it felt like it went by too fast. I felt sorry for YUL taking the blame for what his mother did, he doesn't deserve to get all the blame, even though he did mess with BGs mind and making her think about divorce. Can't wait for season two i hope all the original cast stays and was it me or CHoi Sang Gong is really hot especially after her make over and new clothes haha. and it was cool seeing how Shin was human and all unconfident about thier love. He wasn't confident about himself for the first time.

i just finished watching it just now too!! and i really really feel for yul.. coz nothing was ever really his fault (ie. that he loved CG, and was often together with her to comfort her etc) but shin was always so mean to him.. why did yul have to sacrifice himself like that for the good of others T_T it just makes me like him and sympathise with him more.. i hope he plays a big role in goong 2 as well, and not be left out just coz shin and CG are together now.. and hope he finds a girl worthy of his love.. coz he's just such a nice and caring guy ^_^

its been a lonnggg time since I've been here! Any updates on Goong 2? First I thought the final casting was last MAy but then again? Is there going to be a second season? I hope its worth the wait!! So many fans are dying to know!! :)
