Lastly, I found it laughable that he went back and essentially "tattled," on DC to their mother, telling her that DC has returned to the casinos. He's obviously immature, and has been way too overprotected by his mother and DC.

HAHAHA i sooooooo agree with u on this issue. he knows how much YCH hates casinos and DW came and said "if i dont come and see ur face today i think u will b hurt disappointed" then he goes on about DC going back to casino. little crybaby and hez a rat himself for telling on DC.

Hez whole purpose was to tell YCH about DC.

East of Eden Will End With 56 Episodes

It was announced this morning that the 4 additional episodes to MBC East of Eden will now be 6 instead. This final decision means that the drama will end 2 weeks later on 10th March instead of next Tuesday, with the total series having 56 episodes (original was 50).

According to MBC, the change was bought about by scheduling difficulties as filming for the follow-up drama Queen Of Housewives starring Kim Nam Joo has not been smooth-sailing. The follow-up drama was supposed to be My Love For You but it was abruptly cancelled with Queen Of Housewives hastily announced to take its spot. The lack of preparation for Queen Of Housewives has led to many difficulties with casting, etc all falling behind schedule, prompting the decision by MBC to further extend East of Eden.

Although MBC hasn't yet reach a consensus with Chorokbaem Media over the extension, but it's already confirmed that Queen Of Housewives will debut on 16th March instead of the 9th. The drama extension will help greatly with several issues still unresolved as yet, such as the wedding of Lee Dong Wook (or maybe it has been canned since Hwang Jung Eum has gone missing?). Where is Rebecca anyway? And who exactly is the birth parents of Kim Ji Hyun?

On the other hand, SBS must be mightily pissed now since they had gone to great lengths to schedule their 50 episode saeguk drama Princess Ja Myung Go starring Ryeo Won, Park Min Young, etc from February to 9th March to avoid clashing with East of Eden and Boys Before Flowers. But their plans for a good opening has been dashed now.

I'm glad that MBC extended the EOE because there are many things that need to be done. I was hoping that MBC don't rush on this drama.

I'm just hoping to see DC and YR getting marry for real this time. I can imagine them living at a small house by the beach and just live happily together, and maybe a child from DC !!!! :]

I love this drama... I'ts complicated and different from other storys... and I love DC and his mens (Doksa and the others guys)... they're really smart...

And both DW and JH say DC oppa is so cruel and greedy, i mean come on, look at yourself. Sometimes the writer make the characters so darn stupid its just annouy the hell outta of you. Even STH says LDC is so greedy and evil, i mean LOL no self awarness at all.

I too never thought EOE would make me being serious and tragic since early episodes.., but recently, I’ve been hating the DC-DW conflict :tongue2: that I start laughing to avoid being angry…And STH acting all Angel-like happily accusing/blaming DC is seriously a WT moment??

But seriously who spread those rumors about JH using romance to get the Iran job? That was so cheap and she was really hurt by it? Was it really DC or did STH backstab JH in that too?

Also, everyone keeps accusing DC of wanting to destroy TS. I am confused; I though DC wanted to take over TS, and thus he won't destroy it but built it for himself and MH, right?

I would not need to comment on this episode because the story behind the numbers speak clearly about the nation's reactions and verdict for this week .

Seriously its not looking good for EOE and MBC.The PD and writers have to do some soul searching and face up to reality that their plot is a mess and the confusing direction taken for this week episodes -the end result of their indecisiveness.This is the result when they do not have a single focus but trying to give a piece of the cake to everyone.It is just not working and its time for the urgent wake up call to reality. Not to be in denial as some characters in the drama.Got to do something now to get EOE back on track again for a fitting realistic and believable finale to a long journey .MBC and the advertisers will be counting the losses they have incurred so far..Alarm bell is sure to be ringing loud at all board meetings this morning you can be sure of that at least.At the end it is still a business transaction for them

On a complete separate note: I think YR and DC were always meant to be together, from the very beginning of the show, no matter what relationships the writers advertised. The one clue is that YR is the only girl who YCH (DC and DW's mom) ever really accepted. This was back in the first half of the series, when YR runs away and DC hides her in his family home. YCH showed affection to YR, while rejecting JH and complaining about MHR (Lee Da Hae). This is why I always thought that YR and DC were written to eventually be a pair.

And can I just say that I have no love left for DW. I knew he would go this route as soon as he found out the truth. I can't believe him, after all DC has done for him. I'm disgusted. I also can't stand HR. No mater what your sons father did to you in the past, you married him. I just have no sympathy left for her seeing her rotten behavior. Now ...

I don't know what's up with MBC. The wedding part is really confusing. I can tell that President Guk was dreaming about it in the ambulance but at the end when DC & YR were at the church, I am not sure .....why the flashback if it didn't take place. However where are the wedding rings then if the wedding did take place? But if the wedding didn't take place, DC should not be dressed in mourning clothes and stood besides YR as representative of the family. Confusing !!

The only thing I guess MBC wants to satisfy the viewers but I hate the way it is done. Like it is up to our imagination. I hope the ending is better and I hope DC & YR live happily ever after. If there is a character that needs to be killed off, at least do it to LDW. He is really annoying.
