I love JJM in the Park show. He was pretty shy, but very sincere! Also, I like JJM with long hair!! ;
........... and I compared the very short interview at the 2013 MBC award ceremony. He looked very different with his short hair, but he was as shy as 2009! It was so fun to watch a "shy JJM"! B-)

minnie0103 said that they tried very hard to invite Joo Jin Mo for the Taiwanese Press Con but it seems like he refused it... i'm wondering why he's avoiding the media a lot like that? i went on his Japanese FC and he's uploading some pics and videos there but they said it was for their members only even his korean fans can't see it.... Reminds me of Kang Dong Won, he's the master of avoiding the media all he can.

• Actor Joo Jin-mo has held a dinner show titled “Joo Jin-mo’s Spring Dream” at the Westin Hotel in Tokyo on April 29, in order to celebrate establishment of official fan club in Japan.

  Coming onstage during the event, Joo, who first visited Japan two years prior for a fan meeting in 2011, said, “I feel sorry to have kept you waiting so long.  I wish I had made official fan club earlier. To be closer to you, I will take many photos with you and talk with you a lot.” 

• After energetically singing a remake of “Like Rain, Like Music”, Joo said “My appearance in the movie 'Friend 2' has been secured by reuniting with director Kwak Kyung-taek with whom I worked on 'A love', which was released in 2007.” He added, “Following the director’s advice, I am going to gain 10kg. I will do my best to deliver you a good piece of work.”

  He led the atmosphere of the talk show with his witty conversational skill announcing his best scene and best work (as selected by fans’ votes), and revealing photos that showed scenes of him playing guitar and playing baseball. In the second part of the event, Joo transformed himself into a barista and served coffee to fans and took photos of fans at each table.

• He said, “ I will upload the photos to the fan club. I am very glad to see you smile happily through the camera lens. He presented fans with his treasures to show his gratitude for their support.

• I've tried to search for the song "Red Sunset" but I haven't found a version of him, but the song from my perception if sung by him will suit him well.

I just realized that  there is a fee for the membership of JJM's official site.  I guess it may be the reason why there are always extra things for Japanese fan club.  
I guess the difference may be due to the cultural differences or his Japanese agent.

@QuercusL : now that i think about it, the way the production treated JJM at the last half of the drama led me to think that Fantagio might have been really angry and thus stopped all JJM promotion for EK, in other words, they don't have the right anymore to promote EK with his name... it's because of that there are no interview, no promotion in Taiwan even if they want him.
I'm thinking of that because even if a drama has a really bad ratings, their agency will do the best to have one magazine shoot or one interview but here nothing, the way i see it, Fantagio Rep : "No screentime, no promotion, it will never affect JJM because he's a well established actor he will find a better project after that".

I wonder if JJM did anything after his last drama "Dream".  With JJM's low key behavior, it is difficult to tell what was going on.  However, you were 100 % accurate that JJM is a well established and highly respected actor.  He will not be affected one way or the other. According to Taiwanese media, he got many invitations after EK. He is busy selecting his next project. It was EK's loss that JJM did not participate its promotion.  As we can see, JJM's name was used to promote the drama in Taiwan and Hongkong.

@QuercusL : now that he received many invitations, i hope he will choose well, still think that Wang Yoo in Empress Ki should have been his best project so far, if there weren't all these incidents, i'm thinking about Joo Jin Mo but it pains a lot that the one who worked really hard the 3 years for EK, the writers have seen their project being modified completely. They are really well known and respected and you know what? the wife is the style to say, i will right a role only for you and if she does... i swear, i will send my show luo smile [she already did it several times] If that's the case it means that he will choose a movie first.
