Maritime drama ‘Poseidon’, that had production halted indefinitely, has found its savior.

According to KBS, ‘Poseidon’ has been confirmed to air after KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday miniseries ‘Spy Myeong Wol’.

An emotional melodrama by PD Yoon Seok Ho was supposed to air after ‘Spy Myeong Wol’ but as the preparation process continues to be extended in order to create a drama with a higher level of completion, KBS has decided to air ‘Poseidon’ first.

‘Poseidon’ was expected to air in May on SBS with a star-studded cast of TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho, Eric, Kim Ok Bin and Kim Kang Woo. But with SBS deciding not to air the show and production being halted, Eric, Kim Ok Bin and Kim Kang Woo pulled out from the drama after consulting with the production company.

This has left people wondering if U-Know Yunho will still appear in the drama.

Regarding this, a representative of SM Entertainment stated, “Because U-Know Yunho already has activities planned, we are not in the position to say anything about his future appearance in ‘Poseidon’,” and “We have not completely organized our stance on his appearance in the drama yet.”

TVXQ’s Yunho has been practicing figure skating in Europe

Last week, TVXQ’s Yunho will be making a triumphant return to the rink on SBS’s ‘Kiss & Cry‘.

After transforming into a b-boy, Yunho made both the judges and the crowd roar by performing complex breakdancing stunts all the while gliding on the ice.

Yunho had previously ranked eighth in the first competition and further brought the concerns of viewers when partner Claudia Mueller attended the mid-assessments alone.

Although he hasn’t been able to participate in the skating rehearsals due to his busy concert schedule with SM Entertainment, he has been revealed to be practicing his dancing while wearing skates in his hotel room or in the streets while in Europe.

Yunho said, “I’ve never worried as much as I did this time before. While working overseas, I continued my rehearsals and knew that I could trust my partner Claudia.”

KBS to air drama "Poseidon"; re-casting in the process

TV drama "Poseidon" has been through a rough times. After film delays and losing its airdate on SBS earlier this year, many of drama's lead characters had left the show. In early June, it was then confirmed that Shinhwa's Eric had also turned in his resignation to star in MBC drama "Myungwol the Spy," leaving TVXQ's Yunho one of the only lead actors still left in the show. With that news, it was reported that "Poseidon" had been officially cancelled.

Now it has been announced by the producer Annex Telecom that "Poseidon" will resume and has been confirmed to air in the latter half of the year. Major broadcasting company KBS has picked up the drama, and according to an official from Annex Telecom, there has been talks of "Poseidon" airing on September 5th after "Myungwol the Spy" ends.

The official continues to say that they are currently in the process of re-casting the main characters and that there are talks with TVXQ's Yunho if he will still stay with the show.

"Poseidon" is a story of a group of special forces from the National Maritime Police Academy and is being produced by Yoo Cheolyong and Cho Kyuwon from "IRIS."

Love Yunho's new hairstyle, he seem to color his hair too. Ahhhh Yunho and Jun Hwan just too cute, I could not even believe that our Yunho is really a 25 years old, he just looks like another kid from the pic hehehee. On the 30th of June, Skating Coach Choi In Hwa who participated in SBS “Kiss & Cry” uploaded behind the scene photos on his mini homepage.

Among the photos being posted, the photos starring Yunho and Cha Jun Hwan caught the eyes of the viewers. Yunho and Cha Jun Hwan, being Claudia and Jin Ji Hee partner respectively are competitors for the program. However, in the photos, they do not display any tensions of competitiveness. They have known each other well and are simply comfortable being together.

In the first photo, Cha Jun Hwan placed Yunho’s leg on his thighs and helped him to tie his laces while Yunho was pleading him with both hands positioned together. In the second photo, Yunho was holding Cha Jun Hwan’s wrist while pointing at the camera playfully.
