Oh jojo! How do you know what happen in eps.19 and 20? Do you read the comic? Does anyone here already read it?? Also i`m a bit surprise that IJM kill someone...i think it`s gonna comeback to haunt him in the end...

No, l have not read the manhwa because like you, l don't understand Korean either, but l am told that....

In the mahwa lljimae was captured and GJM set him free (because of his love for BM) and he committed suicide in the same cell that lljimae was held. After his death, the nobles were so furious with what GJM did that they demanded that he should be beheaded.

l am guessing that all these would happened in epi 19 + 20 because in an interview, Kim Min Jong, who plays the role of GJM told the press that his character would died in epi 20.

Also, from the preview in epi 18, we saw lljimae's hideout being surrounded by gunsmen, so it would be very likely that he would be captured in the following episode.

l could be wrong about epi 19 + 20 as it is all guessing work on my part.....l am looking forward to epi 19 + 20 even though l know l will be heart broken in epi 20 when GJM dies

I just bought the comic books, but I haven't had a chance to read them, yet.

Ep. 18 - Kim Ja Jeom (first half)

Iljimae lies unconscious from his gunshot wound to the shoulder. The son and daughter of the man who owed the casino boss 500 nyang happen to be walking by and help to dress his wound.

Wang Hweng Bo wonders what they're going to do now. Sung Ge suggests they catch fish in the river. WHB has an idea - to sell medicine, so they make some out of dirt. WHB also adds his earwax, eye mucus, and boogers to the recipe.

At the temple, a monk finds the injured Iljimae (who must've dragged himself there).

Meanwhile, Wol Hee waits for Geol Chi and assumes he must have been arrested. A man asks if she's lost and offers her a place to stay with his wife and daughter. He shows her to his house, and she's a bit apprehensive, but the man assures her that his wife and daughter are on their way back. She is also surprised to see him go into the kitchen (since that's the wife's place).

The man's wife and daughter have actually been away for 3 months, and he tries to assault WH. She tries to escape, and opens the door to find Yeol Gong. He's passing by and was going to ask for ask for a night's stay, since it's late. YG threatens to tell the man's wife about his misbehavior if he comes near WH, and the man is more afraid of his own wife.

The next day, WH asks YG where he's taking her. He answers that she'll find out when they get there. Doesn't she want to find the person she's looking for? She assumes he means Geol Chi, but he tells her that Iljimae has come back. She doesn't want to go with him...until he mentions that he has medicine to save Iljimae and tells her that he had been shot. The bullet was removed, but he hasn't regained consciousness. WH rushes to Iljimae's side.

Wol Hee tends to Iljimae, and the narrator states that the poison was so strong, no one but Iljimae could have survived. Anyone else would've died much sooner. But Wol Hee's love was just a little stronger than the poison.

Iljimae murmurs Wol Hee's name in his delirium. "Wol Hee...don't go...you can't..." and "Mother...where are you?..."

Then he also says Dal Yi's name, and WH resorts to pinching his lips.

Wol Hee keeps count of how many times Iljimae says her and DY's names. (Dal: 16, Wol: 26)

Creepy shaman lady/guy has a cryptic vision. Iljimae is hiding somewhere and bleeding, but someone is helping him. She can't see any further because of Yeol Gong.

A suspicious-looking monk, Dok Bo, comes to the temple. He steals a peek Wol Hee kissing Iljimae and comments that he can't tell if he(IJM)'s a boy or a girl. WH is affronted at the monk's sneakiness, but says - who cares? He's mine anyways.

Dok Bo asks about the smell of blood, but Yeol Gong tells him to go eat some porridge. He senses the evil from him.

Iljimae awakens and can't believe Wol Hee's alive. IJM tells her he's sorry and that he won't let her go again.

Yeol Gong punishes Iljimae for committing murder. IJM says he passed judgement on the man because he sold out his country to the Qing. YG says what right does IJM have to judge. He had told IJM that he absolutely could not kill someone, and only Buddha can be the judge. IJM says he was out of his mind because WH had died, but he won't kill anyone ever again. He will follow Buddha's teachings because he saved WH and accepts YG's punishment. WH tries to protect IJM and offers to take his punishment instead. YG tells her to find someone else, a good person to marry. WH refuses. YG gives IJM some words of wisdom.

YG tells WH to watch over IJM because who knows when he may be hurt again. WH remarks that YG was the one hitting IJM, and YG says it was to save him.

Wang Hweng Bo attracts a crowd while telling them about the miraculous medicine he's selling. (And it sounds more like a modern infomercial. )

"Made in CHINA! .....uh, no, no, no.... Made in Cheong-i-na!" (*Cheong is the Korean pronunciation for Qing.)

Sung Ge pretends to be a buyer, and WHB is on the verge of selling his product, but Yang Po shows up and tells WHB to eat the medicine himself. WHB's unable to swallow it, so the people call him a quack for selling fake medicine. WHB asks Yang Po why he interfered. Yang Po says it's embarrassing to see WHB selling fake medicine and he scolds WHB, saying - did he come all the way to Joseon just to do this kind of stuff? (Is Yang Po another spy from Qing, perhaps? )

Ep. 18 (second half)

Meanwhile, Geol Chi is cleaning outhouses for prison work detail. He tries to escape and is recognized by Goo Ja Myung.

Geol Chi tells GJM that Iljimae abandoned Wol Hee, and they don't know where he is. GC lets it slip that they checked Oidong, and IJM wasn't there, either.

IJM tells Wol Hee that he'll return after rescuing Geol Chi. Wol Hee is afraid he won't come back. IJM thanks WH for staying alive and tells her that he won't let her go again. WH says she won't let go of him again, too, and IJM wipes the tears from her face before he goes.

Dok Bo offers to give Kim Ja Jeom information about IJM's whereabouts in exchange for a generous donation.

The police close in on IJM, but he is alerted to their presence by the fleeing birds and hides in the rafters. GJM leaves some men behind to wait for IJM to appear.

The hunters come to kidnap Wol Hee. They reveal that they were sent by Kim Ja Jeom to catch Iljimae.

Geol Chi is released from jail and wonders where WH would have gone. IJM approaches him in the town. Baek Mae passes Geol Chi in the street, and he thinks she looks familiar. He remembers that she looks like IJM's mother, but he's not sure.

Baek Mae goes to the police station and speaks with Soo Ryun. She's been having bad dreams about IJM, which makes her ill at ease. Soo Ryun tells her that IJM has committed murder. Baek Mae says she shouldn't have come. She had promised GJM that she would trust him and wait, but she didn't, so she asks Soo Ryun to keep her visit a secret from GJM. Soo Ryun says she's afraid of losing GJM. Baek Mae says she's even more afraid...afraid that she'll lose one of the two (IJM or GJM).

GJM asks SR who came looking for him. She sharply replies that no one came.

Yeol Gong tells IJM and Geol Chi about Wol Hee's kidnapping. The hunters' message to IJM is that he bring what he stole from Minister Kwon's house to Kim Ja Jeom's house. Yeol Gong deduces that Kim Ja Jeom wants those secret papers. IJM realizes Kim Ja Jeom must be the one behind the plot to sell Joseon to the Qing.

Geol Chi and IJM go to Bae Seon Dal's house. BSD and Cha Dol are thrilled to see Iljimae. BSD comments that IJM really is beautiful up close.

Kim Ja Jeom's house is next door to BSD's, so IJM asks him about the layout of the house.

Wol Hee is imprisoned in the storeroom, Kim Ja Jeom is pleased to have his bait for IJM. The hunters are hidden around the property and lie in wait for IJM. Kim Ja Jeom asks the shaman if IJM will appear tonight, but she says he won't show up for 10 days. Therefore, Kim Ja Jeom invites the hunters to drink with him. Bak Su Dong steps out for some fresh air, and sees Iljimae (in disguise as a noble).

Oh noo!!! It`s gonna be depressing!!! I kinda like GJM too...He`s such a sweet character..He`s firm but also affectionate. I`m scared of the ending

Hjkomo and Jojo, my guess is on Yang Po actually was sent by his foster father from China. But i guess not...
