Jaejoong has released his second covers album「Love Covers Ⅱ」on July 29, with a portion of the album sales, dedicated to charity for medical staff.

On the 5th, various Korean news outlets reported about the album topping  Oricon 

Daily and Weekly Album sales and snatching #1 spot on iTunes J-POP category in 27 countries and 7 countries All Genres including Japan, Spain, Canada, Indonesia, Vietnam, proving Kim Jaejoong's  global influence,the album also hit #1 on Billboard Japan's Weekly Album sales and entered iTunes Worldwide Album Charts at #23 on July 30.

 

「Love Covers Ⅱ」also topped TBS' CDTV Weekly Album Charts and TV Tokyo's JAPAN COUNT DOWN Album Charts of the week (Saturday, 8th):

 

We note that Jaejoong released three Japanese albums in total, up to day and they all topped Oricon and Billboard Weekly Album charts 3 times in a row.

The artist commented: “Wish it can be a gift of healing for hearts during this difficult time, thank you for always supporting me”

 Jaejoong will sing the opening theme song of the TV anime "Noblesse", scheduled to start broadcasting in October. The song is called Breaking Dawn and it will be sung in Japanese, Korean, and English, depending on the anime version.

Jaejoong's comment about singing Breaking Dawn as an anime opening: “I'm very pleased. I feel very responsible for the worldwide development of singing in three languages and I'm nervous. It's a song with a positive message that we can move forward with hope."

Following the trend for the rest of the Crunchyroll Original WEBTOON TV anime adaptations, helming the opening and ending themes for Noblesse, adapted from Kwangsu Lee's WEBTOON series, will be K-POP musicians Jaejoong singing the opening theme  'BREAKING DAWN’, and OH MY GIRL performing ‘Etoile’, the ending theme. A new trailer was unveiled to coincide with the musical news.

Both songs will be performed in Korean, Japan, and English, with both Jaejoong and OH MY GIRL apprehensive about singing in multiple languages. The full comments from the K-POP performers were released alongside new comments from the cast of the series, all of which can be read below.

Jaejoong’s Comment on 'BREAKING DAWN':

 

“I am very happy that I was asked to sing the opening theme song for the TV anime Noblesse.
I also have a feeling of nervousness from the responsibility of the worldwide release of the song, which is sung in Japanese, Korean, and English.

 

'BREAKING DAWN' is a song about moving forward with hope against the world we live in today! The song is imbued with that positive message.”

The series is being directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto (Hinomaru Sumo), with Shunsuke Tada as chief director, Sayaka Harada on series composition, and Akiharu Ishii handling the character designs and chief animation supervision.

Noblesse launches as a Crunchyroll Original from October, it is described as such:

 

Raizel awakens from his 820-year slumber.

 

He holds the special title of Noblesse, a pure-blooded Noble and protector of all other Nobles.

 

In an attempt to protect Raizel, his servant Frankenstein enrolls him at Ye Ran High School, where Raizel learns the simple and quotidian routines of the human world through his classmates.

 

However, the Union, a secret society plotting to take over the world,

 

dispatches modified humans and gradually encroaches on Raizel’s life, causing him to wield his mighty power to protect those around him...
