NAH.... those were simply rumors about the writer changing the script . Lee Woo-jung ssi ..never once intended to make NJ-CB the Endgame ( She made that clear when CB shippers were raging mad ). Very rarely do the Writer change the K-drama ending.Yes, there have been instances where the girl ended up with the "other"guy...due to the audience ...but, that was solely because of the popularity of that particular drama character. And , if you really go by either of these pointers ... JH stands to be the winner. ..... both through....SCRIPT and POPULARITY....

BTW I so hate the fact that they're still not done filming. Last minute shooting always puts a lot of unnecessary stress on actors and lowers the quality of acting/storytelling. Hope that's not the case with Reply 1988.
Similar thing had happened with RE'94 even after airing an extra episode. The Finale was rushed and more so the wedding scene was botched up with last minute choppy photoshop and rushing to find a closure to the entire love plot. It happens when the production goes into LIVE shooting and also , I'm noticing how each RE'88 episode increasing with its time limit. I won't be surprised if the FINALE goes beyond the 2 hrs. air time..Hahaha....

Also guys, don't be so easily disheartened by hazy pics. Follow the story/narrative. That always contains the most reliable of clues.
That what many K-netizens were saying about how PD SHIN should sue those who leak the spoilers (journalist/paparazzi)...epsecially after the news about DS being a stewardess and JH a pilot leaked out. But, why do I feel that some of the spoilers are methodically leaked to cause anxiety among the audience coz' the Crew is quite high-handed when it comes to important stuff.

@honeywell once said things were getting to R94 levels of crazy and it's true. we been gotten to that level of crazy. i swear if more of us were in the main thread trying to argue, prove, and disprove things like happened during R 1994. The thread would have been closed a long time ago. For this I am glad most of us choose to ignore it and just stay here. I for one don't really read posts there. I drop in to drop what I got to say and if you guys mention an interesting post or if I see that a poster who tends to be neutral and gives great insight posted there (basically they talk about things other than ship) I go and read. Other than that I stay here. It's not even worth it with just 3 days left. Anyways you guys do not freak and panic at every single spoiler or picture that is given. 4 days we will have all the answers we need (and I mostly only trust things that come out DCgallery. Those fans are True Detectives.

From the looks of those pics...it seems they are panning the camera where the bride is getting ready to walk down the aisle with her father.....That's why we see the other cast members still not in their act. The camera must be only panning on DS and BR....

Guys....No worries !! From the looks of it ...it seems to be SW-BR wedding ! In Ep.18 it was pretty much confirmed that they are the "forever couple" so the logical step would be both of them being married. Also, the fact that TK's car is used coz' since SW's omma and TK's dad are now one family and SW does not have his own car.... it is obvious that TK's car is the Family Car ...i.e..the Groom's Family. And, the gal beside JH is Mi-ok !
The Reply Crew will NEVER put the ENDGAME spoiler this soon.... They have to keep the audience with them till the FINALE....

Obviously I'm not trying to bring down Taek's greatness as a character just questioning what the implication of this scene could be. What do you guys think?
Chinguya , I think Taek lied because he probably does not want to burden JH with the guilt (of Taeki knowing his secret) and JH can pursue DS . On the other hand , since everyone in the squad knows that TK likes DS , but no one except TK knows that JH likes DS too , I reckon Taek also thinks of a possibility DS liking JH and not him. Just as JH thinks about TK and DS. I think that "kiss" was not a dream and may have been the path taken by TK to confess his feelings to DS. that's what I infer.
PS:- what is it with you eh? you seem to attract trolls where ever you go (here and GR too).....Hahahahahah!! aigoo...uri chinguya...

These are just some thoughts I had about this pairing and Reply in general.
This is from the pov of a rehabilitated Chilbong shipper. I learned a lot from Reply 1994. I even knew at episode 13 in R94 that it was obviously Trash, but instead I tried to convince myself based on "clues" and whatnot, but deep down I knew, and it became obvious after the haze lifted. It is still perfectly plausible that I'm wrong on this one, but I'm just explaining my opinion based on my past experience. I didn't want it to be Trash because I was hung up on the pseudo brother-sister dynamic they had going on during the first few episode (ok and Yoo Yeon Seok was pretty dreamy :P), but the narrative arc revolved pretty firmly around Najung-Trash. In the wake of that drama, I accepted that the narrative focus is the strongest indicator. The narrative focus was on Najung's feelings/love. I don't know how to explain it, but it's the lens/time devoted to *angst*/framing of the storyline. As a Chilbong shipper, I latched onto things like "It's not over, till it's over" (in retrospect, a pretty weak thing given the sentiment lol), red herrings in the future like the baseball in their house, etc. Now, I fully realize that the "clues" don't matter and are often later explained via flashbacks. I vaguely remember it being this way in R97 too. Whether this is a great way to tell a story is subjective, but it is distinctive and adds tension. In R88, there's a heavy focus on Junghwan's angst and feelings towards Deoksun, which reminds me of the lens of Yoonjae and Najung in earlier Reply dramas. Basically I realized that the Reply series IS a "typical" drama, despite the twists and turns it takes to get there. Because of those twists and the guessing game, I convinced myself that the writer wanted to surprise people with R94 and go with the unexpected, however there's a reason that the main lead is narratively the main lead - it has to make sense, even I was doubting whether a Chilbong ending would actually be satisfactory towards the later episodes. Taek has a stronger case than CB from what I've read, but imo the narrative build-up has been towards Junghwan's confession and the relationship between him and DS. Someone more familiar with film could probably explain this a lot better than me lol. (It's entirely possible that the writer has actually decided to pull a fast one at last, but judging from my past experience, I believe it's Junghwan based on the overall story arc and perspective.)
The Reply series at their base are about two people with feelings for each other that miss the timing repeatedly throughout the years, yet still manage to make it in the end. There's all that stuff about how it's really about family or the past, etc, and that is an aspect that differentiates it from other dramas, however at its core, it's about a couple that was only made possible through the passage of time. I would say it's about how timing doesn't always matter for love, that in the end they'll finally work it out, even if they missed chances along the way. The main obstacle is overcoming one stage of a relationship to transition into another (platonic to romantic), and giving up the comfort found in the platonic relationship and taking that risk. Without this, there'd be no drama. There aren't evil parents-in-laws and chaebol plots to get in the way of love in these dramas, they're simply about the obstacle of moving past friendship into the unknown. The series is literally based on so-called "noble idiocy," and truthfully, that's alright with me. I think it does it in a pretty believable way. There's no one dying of cancer and hiding it for episodes on end to save their love from the heartbreak here. It's only the trouble of giving up a meaningful relationship for the promise of a different, much riskier, one, and possibly hurting others you care about in the process. Him not confessing "properly" really means nothing to me, since it looked to me that Deoksun knew he wasn't joking. He just said that at the end to give her (and himself) an out from the awkwardness and tension in case she doesn't reciprocate, but they both know that he was sincere. He's "given up" and come to terms with it, which in my mind is the step that propels her to meet him halfway.
This is sort of related, but I really dislike the use of "x deserves/doesn't deserve y" in regards to relationships. This actually bothered me with Chilbong shippers back then tbh, but pretty much all shippers use it. Whether one's hesitant, messes up their confession, or doesn't love as deeply from an outside perspective, these things don't mean much in the way of love (particularly in dramas lol). People get love they don't deserve all the time! Haha. Anyways, I adore Deoksun and whatever happens, happens. I like the DS-JH pairing a lot because I like their dynamic and want to root for them, but if they don't end up together, then at this point, I wouldn't say it's because Junghwan doesn't "deserve" her or vice versa. No one in this drama is evil, ok maybe Bora just a tiny bit, but that's why I love her! Relationships are complicated, sometimes they work out despite missed opportunities, sometimes they don't work out at all, but hesitating to confess or trying to downplay a confession is not some huge slight - it's human (and necessary for the drama to exist).

A couple or more posts ago , I had agreed to the post where @tituyphing had written how the SCENE (EP.8) in which the husband (KJH-2015) mentioning or rather teasing Noeul about his looks and saying how he can now speak in banmal with him ... IS MERE SARCASM AND NOT A "HUBBY HUNT CLUE"... Yeah ! That was just KJH being sarcastic and nothing at all. BUT, what I noticed in that particular SCENE is this .....
1) the hubby makes a "I-know-where -this -sibling-pampering- leading-to " sardonic pout/ face....
2) he mocks the "slight" wound on Noeul foot just to tease DS and NL about their mollycoddling ways... even to the extent of saying that the wound need a surgery to cure it......
NOW, get this ! It really does not matter whether the 2015- husband speak /spoke to NL in either banmal or jondaemal ... What really matters is the demeanor of the husband towards NL...... KJH playfully bullies NL and DS by being all sarcastic . Irrespective to the years gone by or the past/present/future...... A person either has that innate "prickly demeanor" or does not at all..... no matter how much one tries to cultivate his/her demeanor over the years...... sarcasm has always been an innate emotion....
AND THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN ADHERE TO SUCH DEMEANOR IS .....
See how JH bullies NL into giving that X'mas present to DS.......TA DA !!

Doubting the prospects of JH being the husband is bound to happen at some point coz' of those gimmicky twists and turns.( at times even I , myself have doubted JH being the endgame...especially just a couple days ago)....BUT, consistently repeating the sentence "I am team JH but I know TK is the endgame" is getting quite obnoxious....especially when I see such post in this thread..... Btw, I have NEVER seen any post like " I want TK to be the hubby , but I know JH is the endgame"....NEVER read a post like that ANYWHERE !! and, that speaks volumes about the shippers in this thread !!
