I just read that the cast of Reply 1988 was "kidnapped" by Na PD for the new season of YOF in Africa, and just watched the ep 4 of YOF Iceland. How I wish Na PD and his team will also "kidnap" uri Cutie for a fun trip with some of his fave hyungs where they have lots to eat... really miss seeing Wonnie being himself outside a drama/movie ^_^:w00t:

OH MY GGGGG! Where can I watch YOF with eng sub online??? Did the YOF Reply 1988 cast episode air already??? I'm so excited!!!

  2. Speaking of Reply 1988, I just finished watching the drama. I went through some kpop blogs and there are people who are saying that the next Reply drama would either be Reply 2002 (World Cup era) or Reply 1970s. I personally would want a change in the Reply series like they should have a wife search (instead of the usual husband search) and it would be nice to have Lee Jong Suk as the male lead. :-D

Lee Jong Suk reveals his favorite ‘Reply 1988’ character

Actor Lee Jong Suk recently filmed a pictorial for issue 166 of ‘HIGH CUT’ magazine, which was filmed under the concept of a man who walks out from a manga.

Lee Jong Suk showed off his innocent and mature charms in a suit, casual, and t-shirts, and drew attention for his well-defined facial features and lanky frame.

He revealed his frustrations as an actor in the accompanying interview, “When I view my works, it gives me a feeling that I am stuck in my youth. I am agonizing over how to surpass this image, and show a more manly side of me. An actor’s image is largely based on his appearance, so I am really envious of actors who have a masculine image.”

Fans in Korea have been waiting anxiously for something new from Lee Jong Suk, as his last drama was ‘Pinocchio’ in early 2015. He explained, “I feel more and more empty as my hiatus grows longer. I will work like a cow this year, and film at least three works.”

Finally, Lee Jong Suk also shared something about the drama ‘Reply 1988’ which ended last week, “I really like the character Choi Taek. It’s really charismatic.”

I love Choi Taek as well! He really was my bet all through out the series.

Dispatch: leejongsuk & parkshinhye who r well known as "The Best Friends" sat side by side

i think dispatch is just being childish. I seat side by side with a close guy friend too. I rather think seating on the opposite side of the person is more intimate. Just my opinion. :-)

  7. @callmegiggles I watched Yong Pal via the internet two months ago. I actually finished the whole drama in three days. I was really hooked. But now that you've explained it, I think I get it now. I did find the latter part of Yong Pal kinda overboard- especially the cancer thing. The ending was kinda hanging (?) It ended with KTH opening her eyes. I was hoping a happy ending with Joo Won and KTH finally living out their romance. And I even find it a little frustrating that the evil brother was in love with his wife all along. I remember it just happened somewhere in the latter part without proper development. I was kinda surprised. I did wish there was a better love line between them even if it ended tragically.

@mrdimples You're right. It's not really so much as hating it. I think people would find Yong Pal frustrating because of how it developed towards the end. But it did have a solid start. So, maybe it did so well in the beginning that the viewers just stayed tuned to see it in the end- not to mention Joo Won's great acting. I admit it didn't get boring but it get frustrating and disappointing towards the end.

But I do think Joo Won was great all through out and maybe that's the reason I held on until the end and sort of overlooked those shocking bits in the end. I felt kinda bad that KTH won an excellence award in the Korean Drama Awards and Joo Won didn't win any although he was nominated within the Daesang category. I remember, Kim Soo Hyun, won it, right?

Anyway, thanks for the responses guys!
