The rescue
Jun Pyo rescued Jandi like a knight shining in armor. I really felt his anger, regret and guilt in this scene.He drove away the attackers, went up to her and held her in his arms saying “I’m sorry, I believe you”. Then he took her home, tended to her wounds, gave her a room to stay and gave her his pyjamas. Did you notice that Jandi was awake when he planted a kiss on her forehead?

Jun Pyo wants to take responsibility for Jandi and to him, her family is central. I think his purpose of visiting them was to seek their help for him and her to stay accountable for their level of commitment to each other. Further, he noticed that Jandi’s parents were so poor that they couldn’t even afford to feed their children properly: Hence, showered them with household items. However, he didn’t realize that being pushy and assertive would only make Jandi feel inconvenient.
The romantic getaway
New Caledonia is a beautiful and peaceful destination in a tropical setting and it’s ideal for a romantic getaway. Jandi was moved to tears because she was enjoying it all by herself without her family.
JP Why are you crying?
JD Because this place is so wonderful. I don’t know when my parents would be able to come to a place like this. If my family could see this they’d definitely be happy.
JP Then we’ll come together. Why don’t we just come again with your family?

The love triangle
Although Jun Pyo has unilaterally declared Jandi as his girlfriend, with Ji Hoo’s return and the development of their love triangle, it’s all going to shatter in a very painful way. I was heart –broken when she said that there were things that even a genie couldn’t do, such as making someone fall in love with someone else
.However, if it is her fate to have two men in her life, that is something that she probably can’t avoid. Carolyn, I think the psychic lady's forecast is a dream and I found a good definition of soul mate on Wikipedia. A soul mate is a person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity. Jun Pyo loves Jandi-their first night together
Jun Pyo makes his intentions clear, once again

At school cafeteria, Jun Pyo asks Jandi to meet him:
Saturday, 4 pm, in front of Namsan Tower. If you’re even one minute late, you’re dead.
It is so nice to see them together bickering in their own cute way, drinking coffee and enjoying the city lights and the night sky, before they actually become trapped, forcing them to spend the night together. Bwahaha.
On top of that, Jun Pyo falls sick and Jandi has to take care of him while he is sleeping comfortably, cuddled close to her; all bundled up in women’s clothes. It is hilarious how he faints because of high fever and collapses on top her and at one point, he almost engulfs her. What a way to date; it’s so out of the box and they looked freaking cute together. Jun Pyo really enjoys this fun-filled dating experience with a commoner and what’s more he brags about taking responsibility for her, till the end.
By the way, how many near- kiss scenes we have witnessed so far

Next day at school, as the news about Jun Pyo and Jandi is revealed, everybody squeals in excitement, with the exception of Minji.

Now the straight hair and the school uniform; I like the curly haired Jun Pyo because it’s his trademark that makes him stand out among the rest. However, he looks delicious in straight hair too. He’s so excited to get Jandi’s attention with his new look, sucking on that lollipop, like a kid.

At the same time, Jandi's in a crisis and his world comes crashing down on him. (Zero marks for Jandi's brain for accepting a drink from a stranger who reminded her of Ji Hoo).
Jun Pyo confronts Jandi about the pictures with the mysterious tattooed guy from previous night, feeling betrayed and frustrated.
JP What went so wrong that a picture like this was taken?
JD I don’t know. I think someone’s trying to frame me.
JP You’re worth this much, were you a girl only worth this much? Even if they were framing you, are you the type of girl to easily fall into this sort of trap
He grabs her shirt and asks:
I’m just going to ask you one thing, the girl in the picture… Geum Jandi is that you? From now on, I don’t know who you are.
Then he walks away.
Jun Pyo is furious; he goes into an overdrive with his evil side resurfacing. Woo Bin and Yi Jung who are protective of Jun Pyo, decide to probe into Jandi’s framing, before he ends up killing someone.

Jun Pyo looks strikingly handsome in the sword scene; he looks like a real samurai who executes the sword so fluently and effortlessly. His eyes are blazing with fury as if he could really slash the woman who shows up in front him.
Jun Pyo finally figures out that it was a set up to frame Jandi and he treated her wrong by abandoning her, just when she needed him the most.
In episode five, Jun Pyo saves Jandi from the school bullies.
My thoughts on Minho's acting: Loved the interplay between Minho and his co-star Hye Sun in the dating scene and the scene where incriminating photos were revealed. and when it came to acting with eyes, he never failed, especially in the dramatic scenes.
On a happier note , let's watch Gu Jun Pyo's Olympic decathlon

I have been a stalwart of Jun Pyo from day one (when I first watched BOF in 2013).Therefore, I was a bit nervous that my analysis of his character would be very biased. Of course, when we met him in the first 2 episodes he was a jerk who behaved however he wanted without any regard to the consequences of his actions and the well- being of others. Moreover,Jun Pyo isn't a mature creature, so he does those playful things to tease her because he has a crush on her. The bad thing about it, however, is that he entertains himself doing that and Jandi finds it pretty annoying.
BTW, do you remember why fans started calling Minho, "Angel"

We are still in episode three and I really like how the plot has progressed so far in terms of interactions between Jun Pyo and Jandi. Can I start by saying that young Lee Minho is awesome in portraying the transformation of Jun Pyo from that feckless jerk to a worthier person?

and I love the smirk on his face when she revived him. Aww this boy is so naughty

It is clear that she has a positive effect on him as he has become a happier, friendlier and a caring person. I love all the after –effects of that kiss, especially when he says:
It’s never too early for a student going to school. Don’t you know that bugs that wake up early die early.

Jun Pyo forcing to kiss Jandi
This is one of the best scenes so far. When Jun Pyo's love is not reciprocated in the same way, his emotions keep switching back and forth. Even though his intense love seems to be adorable at one point, he trying to force a kiss on her looks really weird. As a woman, I am disgusted by it because she has not acknowledged him yet, even as a friend. Of course she high kicked him once, but when it comes to physical strength, she’s no match for him. Realizing that he did wrong to the girl that he cares for so much and still confused as to how to express his love to her , he lets go of her, saying:
Am I that loathsome to you?
It’s an awesome display of Jun Pyo’s deep and intense emotions of jealousy, frustration, fire and passion.
Dramabeans comment on this scene (This is easily the best scene of the episode. What could have been unintentionally funny or cheesy comes off instead with a lot of tension, a lot of conflicting emotions, great chemistry, and (for once!) a nice piece of score. Now, if only the rest of the series could be like this).
The scene at the bar where JP affirms his love for Jandi
After his confrontation with Jandi, Jun Pyo learns from his mistake and tries to adjust himself, by being gentle to her. I love the moment when he puts his arm around her in front of Ji Hoo, as if he is saying, you have already got a girl and I have got mine and how they bargain over who owes whom, is really cute. Knowing that Jandi would attend the birthday party, he rents the bar till morning and kyaaa, he declares his love to her.
You’re the first girl this Almighty Gu Jun Pyo has acknowledged.
This look on his face, filled with tender love and admiration for Jandi is so adorable and charming
Minho’s song “My everything”, would have been perfect for this scene.

And it’s hilarious how both of them get embarrassed by it. I thought she would be really cautious with him after that encounter, but look how comfortable she is, around him, lamenting over her not being eligible as Seo Hyun. Their chemistry is so obvious here.

I absolutely loved when Jun Pyo gifted the pair of goggles to her because it’s definitely not a show- off and he only did it out of affection. Jandi appreciated it too as she replaced Ji Hoo’s handkerchief with Jun Pyo’s gift inside her drawer.

EPISODE TWO
BOF continues from the previous week where Jun Pyo sends his minions to attack Jandi. When that fails, thanks to Ji Hoo, then he tries to defame her using a false rumor. Disgusted by how Jun Pyo treated her, Jandi finally decides to confront him. Much to the amusement of his own friends, instead of an apology, she flattens Jun Pyo with a flying roundhouse kick, leaving him shocked and confused. She protests:
Did you see me sleeping around with a man? Did you even see me holding hands with a man? How dare you spread all those rumors about a chaste and pure girl who hasn’t even had her first kiss yet?

What is even more entertaining to me is how Jun Pyo tries to figure out what she meant by “not having her first kiss yet”.
Later that night Jun Pyo is chuckling to himself, brooding over what Jandi said to him, instead of being pissed off. He smartly explains how he caught on Jandi, speaking in opposites.
Haven’t you guys caught on yet? That chick, no matter how I think about it she’s totally into me. Although that chick appears to hate me on the surface, she’s actually totally infatuated by me. She didn’t want the guy that she likes to be misunderstood, so she came herself to insist that she was pure and innocent.
YJ: Following that logic…
WB: saying that she hasn’t had her first kiss…
JP: is her way of saying she’s waiting for her first kiss from me.

Jun Pyo gets his bodyguards to chloroform and kidnap Jandi from school and brings her home. When she regains consciousness she finds herself receiving beauty and spa treatments at his palace- like house. Jandi receives a complete makeover, including custom designed clothes, shoes and even hair extensions that are worth 100 million won. What is he up to, now??is he going to take revenge from her? This reminds me of a scene from a Seguk drama where a concubine was being beautified before sending her to spend her first night with the king.

“With money, even an ugly duckling can turn into a heron.”, and he means:
“With money, even an ugly duckling can turn into a swan”
It cracks me up when he gets his idioms wrong.

He makes an explosive proposal saying that if she submits to him and becomes his girlfriend she can enjoy much more than what she has already received, every day.
Disoriented and outraged at illegal kidnapping and forced makeover, Jandi starts taking off all her jewelry and tries to unzip her dress right in front of Jun Pyo. Then she screams at the top of her lungs demanding for her uniform and flees from his house. I’m not sure at this point, whether he could understand the remarks that Jandi made about his wealth not being an eligibility to accept him. Although he made a terrible mistake here, I think I can somewhat acknowledge his love for the girl of his heart. As the song “Stand by me” suggests, (even though I don’t know love yet, stand by me, guard over me, because I’m still clumsy at love) he is yet to figure out whether to kidnap her and tell, bribe her and tell or to kiss her and tell that he loves her
Getting rejected big time, Jun Pyo terrifies his staff with his cold rage, firing them one by one. Nothing goes right for him that day; he even has a disturbing encounter with a bee. AAISH !!
On the following day at school, when Jandi gets a nosebleed, Jun Pyo offers to help her with a friendly gesture. She declines in exasperation, ranting repeatedly on how she hates everything about him, including his stupid curly hair, being able to wear whatever he wants, to school, the impact of Red Card on victims, et cetera. He's shocked to discover that the reason for Jandi's hostility is his very behavior and attributes that his followers swoon over. Self-loathed, Jun Pyo gets into a brawl, while playing rugby and in the shower, he probably cried, but we can’t see his tears

However, he brightens up a little when he spots the notice of the month- long school trip to Europe, as he sees an opportunity to get close to Jandi again. How could a guy so filthy rich have known, that a dry cleaner’s daughter cannot afford such luxury. Jun Pyo stalks Jandi and tracks her down in the middle of the sea, with his entire jingbang, totally ruining her trip. Using a loudspeaker, he speaks to her:
Hey dry cleaner, ah.. ahh.. can you hear me? Commoner… I heard the commoner went to the sea. We’ve gone to North Europe once or twice. Sick of it already. We wanted to look for some new place and somebody recommended here. What a total coincidence. huh!
Jandi gets invited to the welcome party of Seo Hyun, Ji Hoo’s first love. Tricked by the mean girls, she becomes a mockery of guests at the party. Jun Pyo, who has been looking for Jandi, is displeased, not being able to help her out. He looks so dashing here

Seo Hyun escorts Jandi to her room and dolls her up for the occasion while having a chat about boys. She advises not to lose to Jun Pyo, who’s wrapping his loneliness with violence. Gorgeous looking Jandi is ushered back to the party and Jun Pyo could only gaze at her in astonishment and he drops his plate.

This is the moment I fell for Lee Min Ho aka Gu Jun Pyo. That iconic curly hair, that killer smile, that swagger, that arrogance , that boyish mischievousness, I love everything about him.
Loved the introduction of F4, especially that of Jun Pyo's According to Borbes Asia, he's one of the youngest billionaires in the world and known by the entire country. Unlike other F4s, Jun Pyo has servants- in- waiting to pick shoes and clothes and put them on for him as if he's royalty and there is a cane next to him LOL

That night while throwing darts, I wonder what went through his mind, is almighty Gu Jun Pyo hesitating to get back at Jandi ??However, Yi Jung assures him that he should act normal and Jandi gets the red card the following day, becoming a prey of the entire school. Yes, why not, when he's the biggest bully in school. I typed those words "biggest bully" with greatest difficulty as I have already fallen for this bad boy. Still I cannot approve what he has done so far, physically and mentally tormenting weak kids who defy his rules.
SpoilerEven a week after his encounter with Jandi, it's funny how he waits for an apology from her. Next week Im excited to find out how he becomes a better person because of love and how the story progresses involving their rivalrous love triangle.

Although I feel sad that Minho will be away from limelight for the next two years, I'm happy that he got another opportunity to serve his country and its people, something that he's already been doing. BOYS OVER FLOWERS –EPISODE SIX
Jun Pyo continues to make romantic gestures to impress Jandi. She appreciates the fireworks display and the anklet that he bought for her from the market; however she’s now more concerned about Ji Hoo who seems to be troubled by something that she’s unaware of.

The scenes connected with the anklet are very well done. At breakfast, Jun Pyo notices that Ji Hoo is wearing a ‘bracelet’ that is akin to the one that he gifted to Jandi. She isn’t wearing it either. Even though he suspects her when she said that she left it in her room, Jun Pyo doesn’t want to jump into conclusions and make her suffer again.
At the volleyball match Ji Hoo hands over the ‘bracelet’ to Jun Pyo and says:
“I liked it. It’s Jandi’s. She dropped it last night. Return it to her.”
He’s giving him proof and indirectly saying that Jandi was with him in the previous night. Jun Pyo is shocked at this revelation and his hand starts trembling and he loses focus on the game. He misses all the shots and gets hit by the volleyball, making his nose bleed. Then he totters off the beach like a drunkard.
The kayak chase would have been more intense and effective if Ji Hoo had been man enough to take the challenge up. Instead he provokes Jun Pyo even more, by rafting back. Jun Pyo recovers from his anger and takes Jandi on an excursion in a helicopter over to a field in the shape of a heart. He says to her;
I told myself that when I found a girl whom I like, I must bring her here. Did you see? My heart?
Then he takes a deep breath, smiling to himself, so pleased with himself, having confessed his love to her. So sweet: Jandi seems flustered and insensible though. Contrastingly, she is more comfortable and relaxed with Ji Hoo when she goes fishing with him.

That night, much to Jandi’s dismay, news of Seo Hyun’s engagement is revealed. Feeling terrible for Ji Hoo, she goes to the beach to find him. She says sorry and tries to comfort him and Ji Hoo wonders why he didn’t like a girl like Jandi. Then he kisses her……and there is Jun Pyo watching them… furious.
Jun Pyo asks “eventually this is it?”. In a rage,he punches Ji Hoo. Then he confronts the two.
JD Gu Jun Pyo, don’t be like this.
JP This is... what is this? This is something you don’t know? You fell into a trap again? I wanted to believe you. I didn’t want to misunderstand you again. I tried my hardest.
JD I’m sorry that….
JP I showed you my sincerity. But is this your answer?
JD It’s not like that..
JP It’s really over now. Geum Jandi, don’t act like you know me anymore.
Poor Jun Pyo looked devastated when he saw Ji Hoo and Jandi together and my heart aches for him, especially when I think of how disgusted she was when he ‘stole’ a kiss from her.
Liked Logan’s comment on Dramafever relive the drama BOF:
"What has to be especially painful to Jun Pyo is the way that she’s resisted kissing him so far- which I totally get, but then she didn’t even hesitate when Ji Hoo leaned in to kiss her. I know she’s confused. She had a crush on him and now she feels bad for him. It’s just a bummer that someone who strives for what’s right so often would make a mistake like that. Still, Ji Hoo definitely took advantage of her sympathy. If he really cared about her and was a good guy, he would have made his feelings clear to her and given her the opportunity to set firm boundaries with Jun Pyo before doing anything."
Back at home, Jandi tearfully recollects her moments with Jun Pyo; how he gave her the swimming goggles and said not to drink, without him around; how he waited for her for hours in the snow ; how he saved her from the bullies and how he confessed his love to her. Then she says, “I’m sorry Gu Jun Pyo”

Liked the chalk doodle of angry Jun Pyo with a lot of curls and Jandi’s face trying to hold back tears. I’m glad if she’s feeling guilty even a tiny bit and reciprocating, because he’s no longer with her.
Meanwhile, Jun Pyo decides that both Ji Hoo and Jandi will be expelled from school and Ji Hoo will be kicked out of F4 as well. The situation becomes even more grave as Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo both want to avenge Jandi in their own ways.
My thoughts on the betrayal
Seo Hyun is the first person to notice Ji Hoo’s feelings for Jandi and finally she was able to let go of him because of her. However, when it was obvious to Ji Hoo that Jun pyo was officially dating Jandi, he shouldn’t have messed around with her. He is such a loser that he even suggested that he and Jandi should date behind Jun Pyo’s back. I thought he got so vulnerable after the rejection and misbehaved but there wasn’t even repentance on his part. Beware of Casanovas.
As for Jandi , I don’t know her either: She had a super crush on Ji Hoo and Jun Pyo knew that too. She’s supposed to be an honest girl who stands up for what is right :her behavior doesn’t seem to be consistent with her character though. I think she could never reject Jun Pyo point-blank because her heart kept wavering between the two guys. IDK if she was finally ready to accept Ji Hoo’s feelings when she found out that he was unattached.
Jun Pyo loved Jandi to the point of being absurd and annoying and I’m sure he didn’t regret any of his actions. Yes, being an over- possessive lover is one of his major flaws. However, because of love, he has humbled himself and shown commendable transformation from being a jerk to a better person and still, he’s full of potential to become a righteous and honest man.
Next week, in order to put an end to the fight over Jandi, Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo face off in an athletic competition.
