Shin Se Kyung, BoA, Han Ji Min, And More Support Petition Against Inhumane Puppy Mills
After “Animal Farm” revealed the cruelty of puppy mills (places where dogs are made to take part in forced breeding and artificial insemination in order to “mass-produce” puppies in disease-filled conditions) in a recent episode, stars have started to voice their support against such inhumane places.
Shin Se Kyung, BoA, Uhm Jung Hwa, and Han Ji Min spoke out against puppy mills on their individual Instagram accounts on May 16. BoA wrote, “As a person who really loves animals, I felt indescribable sadness and rage. Please gather your hearts. Treating animals like that because they can’t communicate. These are actions that humans should be unable to and should never do.”
The stars also asked people to support a petition against puppy mills.
Other stars including Dana, Kim Na Young, and more have also encouraged people to sign an online petition.

The official poster for Song Kang Ho and Gong Yoo's 'The Age of Shadows' has been unveiled.
On March 9th, the production team of movie 'The Age of Shadows' released the film's official poster, further intensifying global movie fans' excitement.
'The Age of Shadows' is a new film directed by Kim Ji Woon, and Song Kang Ho and Gong Yoo have played in the film as lead roles.
The poster shows two men having a secret meet-up in dim light, further arousing curiosity among many fans and netizens.
'The Age of Shadows' is going to evolve around a pro-Japanese Korean police officer named Lee Jung Chool (played by Song Kang Ho) and a Korean Independence Army agent named Kim Woo Jin (played by Gong Yoo), and the poster seems to be indicating the suspense of the film.
'The Age of Shadows' is the first Korean film invested by Warner Brothers, and a great number of movie fans are awaiting for the film's official release with huge excitement.
Meanwhile, 'The Age of Shadows,' starring Song Kang Ho, Gong Yoo, Han Ji Min, Shin Sung Rok, Um Tae Gu, and Song Kang Ho, will be officially rleeased during the later half of 2016.

Happy thoughts: There are so many actors and actresses in S.Korea. I think it will be ages for some of the actors and actress to have the opportunity to work in either a movie or drama together. I am already giddy when she accepted to work with Park Yoochun, Hyun Bin and Gong Yoo!
Some of the pairing that I am hoping to see them working with Han Ji Min are Kang Dong Won, Lee Jun Ki, Lee Min Ki, Park Ki Woong, Song Joong Ki, Kim Jae Joong, Choi Jin Hyuk, Jang Hyuk, Jo Jung Suk etc.
Will also like to see her work with her ex co stars again in different types of story style.

I always think Ji Min very versatile. I have watched both Detective K and The Fatal Encounter. Blown away.... Cannot imagine she is what she portray in most of her dramas.

Wendilynn: Hyun Bin was very good, but so was everyone else. I did not feel we had any poor performances with anyone. Our Queen Dowager, played by Han Ji Min, was very creepy. I hated her appropriately and was so thrilled by how she ended up. The actor who played the child stealer/trainer was very good. He was slime.
Aunnie: That’s Grandma Queen right? Yes, I was pleasantly creeped out by her. She looked sadistically evil which was a shock to me since I’ve only seen Han Ji Min play Park Ha, from Rooftop Prince and she was as sweet as ice cream in that drama.
Wendilynn: She’s played bad guys before. She plays a femme fatal in Detective K: Secret of a Virtuous Widow.
Firnlambe: Was no one else phased by the fact that this “Grandma” was channeling the utmost evil of evil Korean black magic to keep her youthful looks? That really threw me for a loop each time Hyun Bin’s character addressed her as Grandmama. I know for the times it wasn’t uncommon for there to be major cradle robbing . . . but damn.

Han Ji Min: ‘I Played Sexy and Mysterious Character’
Actress Han Ji Min stars in the movie “Detective K.” She explained why she had decided to appear in “Detective K” at a recent interview with Yonhap News, saying, “I had done many historical works so far, so I actually wanted to appear in a modern drama, but I found the script very exciting and began to have curiosity about the character whom I will play. She will not appear in many scenes, but I wanted to challenge myself by trying to play this attractive character.”
“Detective K,” which will be released on January 27, is about a detective in the Joseon Dynasty who ferreted out all the facts of a corruption case. Han has become famous with her appearances in the historical dramas “Lee San” and “Jewel in the Palace.” She said that the attractive character made her appear in "Detective K" even though she had not wanted to appear in a historical drama again. In response to a comment that she really goes well with historical dramas, she said, “I had appeared in many historical dramas and people might think that I looked familiar with historical dramas.” Compared with other actors, Kim Myung Min, a detective, and Oh Dal Soo, she appeared in a rather small number of scenes, but she said that she never cared about the quantity. She said, “I have not filmed many movies, and I wanted to play an attractive character or important character who has a large impact on the movie even though the character does not appear in many scenes. I prefer this attractive character than the one who appears continuously without having an impact within the movie.”
The character whom she will play, Han Gaek Joo, is a voluptuous woman who hypnotized the detective from the beginning, and she holds a key to solving the case. She said, “The mysterious character arouses curiosity, so I felt she was attractive. The charm and appeal of the sexy character was the most important aspect for playing her.” She explained that she could not express this voluptuous character easily due to her previous images of purity and elegance, so she paid more attention to her hairstyle, makeup, and clothes. The character Han Gaek Joo, in splendid Chinese costumes, expressed a femme fatale image. She did not have many outdoor scenes, but she confessed that it was too difficult and painful when she climbed up a mountain where no restroom had been built and filmed the movie for almost 12 hours without drinking water or eating anything.

in south korea entertainment industry, correct me if i am wrong, the actors and actress only see the general script to decide the drama. many times, they story evolved and revised during the process. movie script is better. but so far only plan man given ji min longer screentime.
