I have been following your blog for 6 months now after watching the first two episodes of Hotel King (albeit accidentally) on a flight back to Asia   Before that I had no idea who LDH or LDW was - the only Korean dramas I had watched previously were My love from the Stars, Secret Garden and My name is Sam Soon. Suffice to say I am a very latecomer to Korean Dramas! After Hotel King, I watched My Girl, Chuno, Miss Ripley and am now half way through Green Rose. There is something about Dahae's acting that makes me feel emotionally connected with her characters (compared to other A listers such as JJY, HJW and KSA whose characters I felt no connection with whatsoever ). 

I feel that Green Rose is rather underrated - if you look past the totally unrealistic plot line, baggy trousers and cheesy, dramatic background music, the interactions between Dahae, Go Soo and Lee Jong Hyuk are really quite compelling. I was literally balling my eyes out by the end of Ep. 3. Love the OTP scenes, the angst and LJH as the villain. Dahe's quiet crying scenes are SO natural that I am having a hard time believing she was only 20 at the time of filming. Her acting was way beyond her years! 

As much as I'd like to see her in a romcom for her next project, I think her strength lies in melos since any actress with decent acting skills these days can pull off romcoms!

Dahae's Chinese teacher updated Weibo today with pictures of Dahae's cooking and also of Cherry. It looks like the "mystery house" with the marble table top belongs to her teacher ~ the plates used in today's photos are the same as the ones shown in Dahae's posts on 26/5 and 31/5. It does make sense now since the posts on 26/5 and 31/5 were written in very good Chinese so presumably her teacher was there with her.

Rough translation of today's post as follows:

This girl LDH is just like a kid, so happy to see good food and gifts! Even updated secretly on Instagram! You must not forget that no matter where you are I am following you?  The 3rd and 4th pics show the simple and tasty food you make with sincerity (compliments) Cherry shii felt left out (sad eyes) because I took his place today.

@samzz ~ Thanks for this clip. It is funny how Joe Cheng said the only thing he could make was egg fried rice and then Dahae said she knew nothing about cooking! She said she tried cooking once but then her mum told her not to bother again! Fast forward 3 years - she is a now completely different person in the kitchen!

The word among netizens is that the purpose of the FACT announcement is to detract the public from the recent outbreak of MERS in South Korea. The number of people infected has been rising the past few days after the first case was confirmed last week. Apparently the SK government has been criticised for the handling of the outbreak. Netizens are even mocking this is the reality version of Pinocchio…! I feel sorry for the soon to be outed celebrity couple whoever they may be.

To NewBee. My comments on antis stem from some recent postings on Dahae's weibo account. They were not directed at you. Please do stay on this thread if you want to ship this lovely couple! Absolutely no ill feelings intended! However, as a general rule of thumb, we try to avoid mentioning other people on this thread out of respect for the other parties involved and also their fans.

Hi everyone. Been a silent lurker here for six months and today I finally plucked up the courage to write a post! Totally agree with Samzz' comments on the difference in age group/maturity level of fans of idols and young actors/actresses compared to those of established actors/actresses. There is nothing wrong with shipping your idol with the nearest good looking guy around (usually within a 3-5 ft radius), and getting all excited when they exchange occasional glances with each other. It's part and parcel of the fangirling culture. What I find distasteful is when anti fans pose as well meaning fans and say things to rock other people's ship. It has happened in Dahae's Weibo account recently but the antis were promptly exposed by Dahae's seasoned fans.

To Newbie: While we cannot be 100% sure of Donghae status right now, so far we have seen far more Donghae hints than any other pairing involving Wookie/Daehae with other people. If you are concerned with Wookie's pairings with other people may I suggest you create a new thread under a new heading. You might find other people with similar concerns as yours!
