heyyy i remmeber you! i was 138 XD.
i totally didnt like the experience. i signed up for singing & acting..i dont get why they only let us do one. i know alotta ppl signed up for modeling too..they didnt get to do it..any ideas on why?
but yea..i felt like after that guy that trained in france danced..they didnt care about ani1 else auditioning. the guy supposedly made it all the way to finals in JYPE.
for me, i was stupid & put my tag on the bottom of my shirt n she told me to move it up -.-
maybe it was just me..but one of them had her head on her hand n she looked so borred while the other one was juss...blank. i dunno..i felt like we had crucial judges -.-
i think they shoulda told us we could only do one..then i wouldnt have stressed myself on practicing for both
blahhh. i hope they email us even if we didnt get in..so at least i know..

I just wanted to let you know that one of the girls working at the (SF) audition said that the people who are the "judges" aren't really Casting Members of SM. They are just staff members of SM that are organizing the auditions... so basically after the entire North American audition thing they're going to go back to korea and the Casting Crew of SM is going to look at everybody and pick people! So.. there's still hope for everybody!
Oh mi goshhhhhhhhhh T____T I really hope youre righiethoaihgfafs that boosted up my hopelevel, which is probably a bad thing htough .sfpajf T__T;

Although its nearly 4 days left until the NY auds and I know it doesnt matter whether we send in emails apps or not.. but O_O; What do you guys think of sending pictures.. like the ones where you reflect of mirrors? =| My friend suggest not to since mirrors distort your image (aka i look better in mirrors I think) but ye O_O; Would you guys send in mirror pics?

i'm auditioning in houston and i'm plannin on singing if i ain't got you by alicia keys but...do u think it's better if i sing a korean song instead...o.O
cuz sadly..i'm not absolutely fluent in korean and i don't plan on humiliating myself in front of everyone.
also...do you think the judges will ask you to do something you're not exactly auditioning for. in other words...i'm going to be singing but i'm afraid they might ask me to dance for them....><....
Thats fine O_O I think a lot of people sing that song, but theresnothing wrong with that.. O_O You dont have to sing a song in Korean... if they really like you though, they might ask you to sing in another language for them.. so maybe hve something in a diff language prepared just in case.. and.. ;;;; this has been asked and asnwers several times... O_O; The judges will ask people to do things htey havent signed up for (the LA auditioners mentioned that they made all of the modeling people sing too).. but yeah.. As for dancing.. There is a rhythm test -- where they play a random song and you have to freestyle to it... But as far as I know from what the LA people said -- it's OPTIONAL... although if you want another chance to impress the judges and stand out, you should give it a go.
You said that its best not to sing any SM songs, but I'm planning on singing Boa's - If you were here.
i guess thats the only song that best suits my voice, but then i again i dont want them to think im sucking up or anything. it just suits my voice...

O_O; Haha, no it's not sucking up... the hting people were syaing about singing SMTown songs is that... you shouldnt do it unless youre really good at them... because O_O they might compare you to the original singers. But yea O_O Sing whatever makes you happy =]
I'm a bit confused (like everyone else) And this is probably a really stupid question - so if you send your application in, they have your name/info/etc right? So when you get to the audition they'll just call your name.... and you go in and sing/dance/whatever right?
Uhm Im not sure how much info they havve on you if you send in an email app because, from what the LA Auditioners said, the email apps didnt even matter.. although they break you into two lines or whatever (people that applied through email and walkins) both lines fill out the exact same application when they get there... O_O The email application was a waste of time (although I dont get what they're complaining about.. the application doesnt take like 329 years..) So no. they wont be calling names... youll get a number and yeah.. the audition times given to you dont matter either.. I dont want to say its first come first serve, but yeah O_O if you get there earlier, at the head of the line, whichh you probably want to do, then ye O_O you should get to audition sooner.

hey......on behalf of a lot of the NY auditioners we are very much confused as to which place we supposed to go. There was a first initial place that they assigned. And then they sent a notification e-mail and said another place....So we're guessing its the second place....but the reason why we're confused is the fact that the e-mail said that if we get to the place earlier we would be able to audition for the World Audition....?-? That makes no sense....we ARE auditioning for the world audition....so if my set time (that SM sent me) is 4 PM and i get there earlier...then what ....i'm really confused.....does that mean that if i go earlier and i get to audition then i can audition again for my set time???? That makes no sense.....can one of the mods help the NY auditioners out one this plz?????O.O

It's not really a set time, I dont think.. If youve at least skimmed through the LA thread, a lot of people complained about how there was no point in even sending an email app.. because everyone got mixed in anyway.. (but yeah O_O im going to apply through email anyway... its not like it tkaes 98503845 hours...) And yeah O_O; Mm.. You guys mentioned 12 people got picked for the finals already.. And those 12 are all singers/dancers..
O_o do you guys THINK (i know no one knows for sure) O_o that they only choose singers/dancers for the final.. becuase theyre like performing or whatever? Models .. and actors at that can't really perform the same ways singers/dancers can O-o So if youre a model and you dont get picked to perform at the final audition/performance thingy... O_o Do you think you still have a chance? @_@.

MY SM AUDITION EXPERIENCE
Hey guys, this is my experience from today. Of course, each person’s experience will be different, so don’t take this as a FOR SURE for what will happen to you, since factors like how many people show up, if they have the same judges, whether they will change some protocol after today, etc. matter too. But hopefully this will help someone.

(6) For modelers - they will most likely ask you to sing, regardless of how well you do modeling. My friend had to sing even though she told them she couldn’t, and all the modelers in my group and the previous group had to sing.
Good luck to everyone else auditioning! I’m kinda tired right now, so that’s probably making my post more pessimistic than it would normally be, but hey! At least I got a shiny folder and booklet out of this. ;D Here’s hoping that the rest of your experiences are better than mine!
