omg, i hated that book! the protagonist was sooOooo boring >___<;;
anyways. i just bought "The Other Boleyn Girl" by Phillippa Gregory, and " The Time Traveller's Wife" by Audrey Niffengegger. Think I'm gonna start the prior first, lol.

omg, i remember reading those in highschool. it's funny cuz you know what to expect when you grab one of her books, but she never fails to compelle you into thinking that maybe, just maybe, the main character wont' die in this one, lol.

kate hudson's the first person to come in mind. she has such a beautiful smile. keira knightley's really pretty too, but she looks so thin sometimes. as for tyra banks, i don't anyone can disagree that she's beautiful on the inside and out.

I have a question but it's more of a friendship kinda thing.
I have this friend for quite some time now and she gets mad at me very easily.
for example: i tease her a bit and she slaps my arm and go "#@$#@%^@# you make me so mad all the time >=("
^it kinda pisses me off cause when she does it she laughs without knowing her own hypocrisy(sp?)
so then i try staying quiet and she goes "Why are you so quiet
say somethingggg!!!! >=["So either way she gets mad whether i open my mouth or not!
It wasn't always like this, we use to get along fine and almost always laughed together. Now it's like we're both 2 old grumpy married couple who complain at each other every so often.
So ladies, how can i bring us back to the way we were b4?
Also, why is she so nit picky around me and get angered so easily in comparison to other guy/girl friends?
is it because she expects a greater deal from me or something?
lol, poor you! you know, it's quite possible that she doesn't know what to say outside of picking on you. you should really say something about though.. not really healthy to keep things bottled up inside, especially things that annoy you.

omg, that's just disgusting.
i'm canadian born chinese, and i for one do not look down on south asians. in fact, my best friend of 13 years now is half viet and half combodian. why can't asians in general just get along with each other?? it's riddiculous!! we're all human beings!! who cares whether you're black, white, yellow, purple, green...etc?? GET OVER IT AND STOP BEING SO SHALLOW!!

i was reading "Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures" by Vincent Lam...i got a little bored of it though but ive heard it gets really good so i will finish it.... nothing holds my interest these days so im eagerly waiting for Harry Potter 7!
i read that! it starts out okay, but then the writing style changed completely =___=. got really boring afterwards. the best part imo, is the whole imaginary skit played out in the main character's head when he goes to visit his girlfriend in uni. really funny, but other than that, it was pretty boring

i was raised speaking chinese (cantonese with my parents and toisanese with my grandmother) and i went to chinese school for 14 years, so i can read and write, but not well.
I went to french daycare, and elementary school but switched to an english school eversince grade 2. I guess overall, my order of fluency is:
english (perfectly fluent)
cantonese (according to my relatives, i can speak it like a Hong Kong native, but i'll need a dictionary and like 3 days to write a 500 word essay)
french (i've got the pronounciations down, but there are words that i'll forget when it comes to speaking, and my grammar's atrocious when it comes to writing)
toisanese (i can understand it, but i know my pronouciations an accent's a little weird since i haven't had much chance to practice it for the past few years)
mandarine (i can catch a few words in a convo if you speak really slowly, but don't expect me to join in >__<)
