This looks like it is so well done. I think this one might finally get the High ratings and viewers it deserves. . The scenery is beautiful. The trailer is very high quality and Joon...what can I say he looks more handsome than ever.

Yes but the quality of script  is above all of them, my few experience in drama land shows high ratings depend on script writing, cinematography, acting quality + heaven's fate;) I cross my fingers for high rating although just high quality drama is enough for me.

Ok... are those pix real??? I mean few days his arms weren't like that (remember the video of him exercising?) and now his arm look like it belonged to Arnold Schwarzenegger. And he lost his weight as we all know (and feel very unease about that) and those pix show as if he put on some weigh. At least his arms but not his face.

    Strange. Maybe it's a fake???

haha I ended up thinking about Sylvester Stallone's arms:D but I don't think it is fake, it depends on the way you take the photo, I think it is an exaggerated photo, btw he had strong arms even before he started to work out

Not to mention he was so incredibly sexy there... and did you count kisses?! I lost my count at like 10th! And the bathtube scene... and the moment in gibang house when he pretended to take off his shirt to "continue what he started with his woman". Phew!!! Where's my fan??? :sweatingbullets:

Yes the scene wowed me, there was no kiss, no shirtless Joon Gi, not exactly bed scene, even not too much dialogues, but it was hot to the highest degree. He did it with his powerful facial expressions and his wonderful eye-acting. This is his power as an actor that makes some sick people get jealous.

  3. Joseon Gunman reminds me Iljimae, especially action scences, although he became more experienced in JG that makes the drama to have one of the best action pack between all dramas I've seen so far. I need to check JG again, I swoon every time see him doing action drama:wub:

Malicious comments? for years? what an idle people they are, If you don't like someone just leave him alone what is this

  4. @minmar Welcome to LJG thread. You are right, he is so thin indeed. Some weeks ago when I saw his IG update(That one he is walking in the street) I commented and begged him to stop his diet which may hurt his health. I wonder is it because his drama is in Goryeo area, he said that he doesn't need to lose much weight for sageuks. Anyway nowadays with his modelish-thin body and long hair he much more like a manga boy comes to life.;)

I'm happy he managed to have several magazine photoshots while we are waiting for his new drama, It can make up the lack of photos from Scarlet Heart, sigh..What a secret shooting the drama has:huh:

Moreover, My late greetings for our actor's birthday, I hope the year ahead is filled with much success for him.

  5. I think it is soon to judge about other princes' costumes, we only caught a glimpse of their hanboks and it wasn't official photo, cinematography will make changes a lot, PD just needs to not display all of them together to avoid making rainbow :D .I remember in Jumong, three princes wear three different colors and it wasn't awkward at all. There are many princes in this drama and they can't wear similar clothes [Their names are enough for confusion, no need to another issue:P].  I guess they have at least two costume types, one for inside the palace and another for outside. Yesterdays photos were WangSo's outside outfit, we have to wait to see his formal hanbok too.

BTW today is 4th anniversary of our hot prince military discharge

  6. 20 times when Hallyu met Hollywood

Across all walks of life, the idea of Hollywood is a grand dream for many in the entertainment business. Great talent lives and breathes worldwide, yet one can’t help but get star struck at the idea of Hollywood. Thanks to our ever-changing world, Hollywood-based entertainers are more actively working in projects based in Asia and promoting their work there. It is great to see celebrities work and mingle with each other. Here is a list of 20 times South Korean stars worked and mingled with Hollywood actors and models.

  7. @cedarwood They want his costars and also leading lady to be more experienced ones, they want him to work with veteran actors.

@patoi So sad to hear about it :( I wished to watch him in MBC drama awards but I knew there is a low prospect for him to go there since there was no announcement from Namo about the ceremony.

BTW It's nice that he had(has) long vacation with his family, the tired face we saw after SWWTN, needed that.:P

He has gained weight, hasn't he? I think this suits him more. he looks healthy and happy.

By the way did he accept to play 4th prince in "Moon Lovers"? I read in Soompi's article that he already accepted the role but other websites titled as "considering the role"?!

  9. Lee Jun-ki in talks to take Bu Bu Jing Xin remake drama

According to latest reports, Lee Jun-ki (Scholar Who Walks the Night) is considering taking on the remake of the popular Chinese drama Bu Bu Jing Xin, retitled Moon Lovers, with his management confirming that he has received the offer. All the usual caveats apply, about how the discussions are positive but not yet finalized, etc.

In the original series, the present-day heroine traveled back in time to land in the Qing dynasty, leading to romantic entanglements with several Qing princes. The K-drama remake will take place during the early Goryeo era (mid to late 10th century), but while the historical background will be entirely different, I think we can expect many of the same narratives and themes to play out in the new version. With a K-drama twist, of course, which probably means we’ll have more angsty love triangles, a coup attempt or twenty, and star-crossed everything. (I dunno about you, but I think Fate could stand to go on holiday. Who needs destiny to screw you over when we’re so very capable of doing that ourselves?)

If he signs on, Lee Jun-ki would play Goryeo’s fourth king, Gwangjong, born Wang So, who was fourth son to King Taejo. Historically remembered as a harsh ruler, the drama character is described as so cold-blooded that he’s called an untamed wolf. Coincidentally, that’s the same character recently played by Jang Hyuk in MBC’s fantasy historical drama Shine or Go Crazy — reimagined history is all the rage these days, as we know.

In any case, it seems perfectly obvious to have Lee Jun-ki doing a time-traveling fantasy costume drama adaptation — not necessarily obvious in a bad sense, though I wouldn’t mind Lee Jun-ki stepping outside his (beautifully garbed) sageuk wheelhouse for something completely different. But he’s so great in historical projects so I get the interest; even when the dramas themselves aren’t great, he’s always reliably solid in them (Joseon Gunman, Scholar Who Walks the Night).

Kang Haneul (Misaeng) was previously reported as a potential casting, and that is still the case, with no final word just yet. Neither do we have any hint of who they may cast for the time-slipping heroine. Who’s got a wish list already up and running? I’m sad that Moon Chae-won’s already booked, as is Han Chae-ah.

Moon Lovers will be directed by It’s Okay, It’s Love’s PD Kim Kyu-tae, and is aiming to air early next year.

  10. Lee Joon Ki heads to Hollywood for the latest Resident Evil film

    5c5c89fa-b6eb-4205-aff2-6afdbb0ba219.png

Lee Joon Ki is making the move to Hollywood! The talented actor accepted a role in the latest installment of the Resident Evil franchise, and he is already busy filming in South Africa with series star Milla Jovovich.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the sixth film in the popular zombie series, though I'm inclined to believe that "final chapter" probably won't be final if the film makes enough money. The series follows Alice (Milla Jovovich) in her battle against the powerful Umbrella Corporation, which caused a zombie apocalypse. In this installment, Alice returns to Raccoon City to stop Umbrella Corporation from destroying the remaining apocalypse survivors.

Lee Joon Ki will play Umbrella Corporation's Commander Lee. The actor is currently filming in Cape Town, South Africa, and he's already impressing his costars! Milla Jovovich posted a selfie with Lee Joon Ki to her Instagram account on October 17. The caption reads, "Working for the last few nights with the incredible 3rd Dan Tae Kwan Do master and actor Joon Gi @actor_jg has been insanely fun and so inspiring. Makes me want to go back to class and brush up on my martial arts skills! #nightshoots #residentevilthefinalchapter #capetowndiary."

Today, Lee Joon Ki posted a photo with costars Ali Larter and Fraser James on his own Instagram

While I have to admit that it's a little sad to see Joon Ki cast in the stereotypical action villain role for his Hollywood debut, they certainly couldn't have picked a better guy for the job! Joon Ki is known for doing most of his own stunts, so it's no wonder that his Taekwondo skills impressed Milla Jovovich. Additionally, even if the Resident Evil franchise isn't exactly critically acclaimed, the films tend to do well at the box office. Hopefully introducing a wide audience to the beauty that is Lee Joon Ki will open up more roles for him and other Korean actors in the future.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is currently planned for a January 2017 release.

What do you think of this casting? Will you be watching in support of Lee Joon Ki's Hollywood debut? Share your thoughts in the comments!

  11. LOL... it's kinda funny to see that each casts of Resident Evil, who put up a picture with JG in IG, got so many comments from JG fans around the world. They are probably surprised by his strong loving supports from his fans. The director did the right choice to cast him in his final RE movie :) For sure I will watch RE The Final Chapter just for him. Actually I just watched RE 1-5 over the weekend, after I heard he will be in RE6 :)

LOL:D Yes it is fun for me to read fans' comments, It is double fun for the cast to read comments in their IG. I also will watch the movie for him. I love action but I'm not into Zombie movies:crazy: but no matter I will schedule to watch them in daytime:lol:

     @leesopark16  @Irisz A bad Guy?!:w00t:  haha:D;)
