I am not too familiar with this either but from what I can read, in Korea, it’s a jargon used in sexual context…so even though the literal translation means Day Lose, Night Win or Day Win, Night Win or Day Lose, Night Lose or Day Lose, Night Lose in a couple’s relationship, it has sexual meaning underlined and it’s not saying winning the fight day or Losing the fight at night…).
They were talking about this and JooWon didn’t seem to know what it is. So the panel explained to him and then he said, I am Nat-Jue Bam-Jue (Day Lose, Night Lose) and everyone gasped.
So they explained to JooWon Bam-Jue (Night Lose) is asking can I touch you here? at night in bed… then JooWon said “that’s not what I meant … but do you have to win?” And was having hard time understanding… the panel and audience were frustrated…
And then JooWon looked at the audience with the cutest look ever and said “I am sorry for not knowing what winning at night means ㅠㅠ” With that, the audience went crazy with “How Cute~~~, you don’t have to know since you are soooo cute”
