    So I am just going to pretend that SOG always intended to bring back JSM's soul from the Land of Dead after she died in his arms but his plan was thwarted by him loosing his memory. Infact, I will even imagine that he magically preserved her body so he can bring back her soul once again in it(they never showed that he burned her or buried her. Even LHJ questioned why there was no body found of hers). After they promised to find each other, SOG left the next day itself to the Land of Dead. He found the Book of Life/Death and erased her name from it. He found her(No one would stop them since her name is no longer in the books) and he winked her soul to Sereumdong to let her enter her magically preserved body. Then he took her to the heavens to eat the immortality peach and the magic pill. Now she is an immortal and whether the skyland kicks them out again or not, they will live happily ever after, have a wonderful wedding with MW playing the piano and PK sing.They will have a baby who looks like SOG and maybe JSM could even come out of hiding in the real world since her body was never found and so she was never declared dead. With SOG being such a public figure, they will just pretend she lost her memories momentarily and she will let LHJ(maybe he will comment on how similar their baby looks to the one SOG brought to the office once) continue running her business while she lives as Mrs. CEO of the M group.

     

    Sigh..how I wish. So much potential this show had and how it disappointed me. BTW I agree with many here that it felt like they kept it open ended for potential Season 2 but I really doubt that will happen since the cast was so star studded. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they just stuck with LSG and OYS in S2 and went ahead with different characters but I still doubt it will happen.

    Me too every time i woke up. The pain is still there

    i will never understand Hong sisters choice. Is it that hard to make a satisfying ending like they usually do? This 

    at least with a good ending, it will leave the viewers with fond memories of their work despite any loopholes or CG problems

     

    Now not only people are upset but they absolutely left a bitter taste in every loyal viewers of this drama. 

     

    The only comfort i get is OG is OG hahaha.  The hell with reincarnation, he gonna turn the underworld upside down and get his bride.  That gonna means Sunmi isn't a human being anymore.. she is an immortal esp with the eye that he gave her

    I just feel like ep 20 is very disconnected from the 19 eps i have watched

    what's with the grandma

     saying  "the fate can be change"

    I thought she would hold a very strong role in this matter.

    so does  the Heron who purposedly called OG toc warn him and the clue  about the baby etc

     

    what actually made Hong sisters wrote such lousy script for the last ep? It doesn't make any sense

    their drama always become stagnant in the middle part but their last ep always manage to save their dramas.

     

    this amnesia thing is so unnecessary with lots of flash back too  and no closure for everyone. Poor Sunmi ... she must be thinking "wth am i doing?"

    I think the problem and the reason whyyyy a lot of us are really mad because it's the otp that we clung to in this drama. The chemistry is everything!!! In my opinion, 503 couple > story. I'm not saying that the story is not great and all, but for me what made Hwayugi instantly one of my favorites is the chemistry of the leads and now that it lacks closure, we are mad.

     

    I'll just calm myself by thinking that there are other dramas that ended happily but the kissing scenes are not as many and intense as we had with Hwayugi. Plus the bed scene. OMG that's a whole new deal!!!

     

    Hwayugi will surely be in my Top 5 and I'll be lurking around and check the fanfics that will be posted! (I'm sure there will be, right???) :D 

    Agree 503 couple  > everythingelse 

    what would happen if they didn't cast these  two actor and actress? 

    their romance and chemistry is so crazy. Even ep  19  opening still makes my heart beats like crazy. 

     

     

    Ep 20 doesn't exist doesn't exist doesn't exist. Rewatching this drama again from ep 1 t0 19 ONLY

    My heart is still broken. I don't think i can watch any romantic genre anymore  cos i will just  be reminded of OG-Sunmi then i will bawl again. Will be watching thriller, crime, and horror instead

     

    it would have been better if they didn't spend the ep on OG amnesia. It should be about OG saving his bride from underworld . That would have been epic

    I agree. The chemistry was so amazing. I really didn't want to commit to this drama in the beginning (I had sworn off dramas for awhile) but they got me with the acting. I wish they maximized their potential by showing them together one last time at the end... rather than SOG alone. Predictable, happy endings are GOOD when you have that kind of acting and chemistry.

    Yes when ASN took her body her soul is perished 

    she can't even meet her mum and her last wish to be burned when she was still beautiful was not fulfilled. She became an evil spirit that she is most scared off ( she ate so many people with bloods on her hands)

    she will be punished and with the soul gone ahe has no chance of reincarnation at all

    my two poor beautiful heart girls Sunmi and Buja. At least Sunmi still have her crazy god boyfriend who will wreck heaven to get her back no matter what

    As PororoQueen says, the ending is logical, and though I still feel bitter about the ending (and killing JSM is pointless), The ending is a perfect portrayal of OhGong's character. Actually, it's a clever moves, Oh Gong the temperamental one will not wait for reincarnation, he'll meet her by himself. And I hope Seon Mi is already a deity after all, so both of them could ascend to the sky together

     

    To imagine oh Gong's character made a ruckus over there already make me chuckle

     

    " Oi give me back my bride"  in his poop talking manner way :D

     

     

     

    despite my pain for Sunmi's ending, Buja's ending is more tragic( her soul is gone so she has no chance of reincarnation) . At least we can highly assumed that powerful OG will get his bride no matter what. He even gave his precious eyes to her... she may not be a human anymore or forget about him in the underworld but our monkey will chase her around, kiss her, and do whatever to get his Sunmi.

     

    i wish we were given one more ep to finish this 

     

    i'm in so much oain but ep 1-19 have given me so much feels from  this amazing otp. The best chemistry i've ever witnessed among all dramas. I will take ep 19 as the ending

    Calming down a bit

    after being so angry thinking that i'm gonna forget this drama

    but the moment i woke up, i remember my otp again

    i can't move on!!!!!! I still love them with all my heart

     

    still think the amnesia plot was unnecessary. Oh Yeon seo didn't have to run around in the same clothes in the last ep...

    still glad that reincarnation is def out of question for OG lol. Thay scene should have been done sooner where he fetched his bride. Sunmi is def not a human anymore , get married, and live in Sireumdong forever

    In conclusion god in this drama is indeed a richard simmons

     

    Dear Minigold, say goodbye to selling you ring and necklace. You should sue Hong sisters

    My heart feels so hurts... Hard to breath because I'm so mad... And I dunno how to explain this feeling in words... because maybe my words can be so cruel and harsh

    I feel you cos i feel so suffocated right now

    i put all my feelings for this couple but they trampled it with super lazy writing

     

    Sunmi life ended in vain still with no rewards or appreciation stranded in land of dead

    where is this saying by the grandma "fate can be changed"

    Hong sisters must be high on drugs while writing ep 20 script

    Ep 19 morning scene is the ending for this drama.

    ep 20 was so wth... did they suddenly get posses or something??!!!!!!!

    this beautiful couple story ruined like that????!!   At least show him taking sunmi from the land of dead not like this!!!

    They must be their own anti. I hate you

     

    i might not watch k dramas for some time now. The betrayal and trauma is too real because of this drama
