Oh she look gorgeous tonight! Really nice. She is certainly more daring in her dressing nowadays. Heehee.
All I could think of when I saw the pix was I hoped there wasn't any wardrobe malfunction. Thank God. Yes, daring is certainly an understatement here. Either up or down, she could've been millimeters from disaster.
[Was thinking of Janet Jackson & how the word "wardrobe disastermalfunction" came into the vernacular]Guess I wasn't expecting how daring she can be. The first pic I saw posted here from the BIFF red carpet was that of her back covered head to toe in black with her luscious long hair showing. Who would've thunk the front would be, ahem, so different from the back. I think I got a little bit of a shock from the subsequent pix. But, hey, I'm not complaining.

@ben1090 I didn't know that HJW's scar in the forehead was due to Damo ( Is there a story about it dear?
) since I've already noticed it since School 2 days and her movie debut OK, peeps, yes I can be that myopic ... but where on the forehead is the scar? I've never seen it before. Could be I get blinded by other parts of her beautiful face (especially the eyes) that I've never noticed a scar before.
Any chance you can provide a headshot where the scar can be easily seen? Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong (since I'm unfamiliar with most of the names here save a couple), but isn't HJW the ONLY female in this male dominated list of the Top 11.

No wonder her schedule is packed. I don't know how she does it so well with a perpetual smile on her face. Amazing.
I have one job and one job only, and I'm exhausted every day from just that. My mom had a good laugh the other day when I told her I was watching Mrs Cop and fell asleep in front of the TV. When I woke, it was already 3AM+, with just enough energy to switch off the light and TV, and fall back asleep again.
Now, I can understand how exhausted she must have been while doing that "fan-panned" (Hahaha ... my invented new term) kissing scene. If it were me, LJW would have either heard me snoring or would have been kissing a piece of wood.

Well, if it's the former, I'll say the national broadcasters have loosened up. In the past couple of years from the kdramas I've watched, these scenes (especially the premarital kind) are usually from the cable networks and not the national ones like KBS, SBS, MBC, etc.
it happened before their wedding...I am wondering as well if that kind of scenario is not controversial in S.Korea since I thought they're preserve about it...
Yes, exactly my thoughts. Especially by the national broadcasters, they usually suggest individuals have been intimate only, not show the state of undress they did with this scene. Maybe it's a weekend drama shown at a later timeslot? Or, maybe the actors were willing to do the scene? I notice that many Korean TV actors and actresses (not so much movies) are quite "shy" when it comes to the "S" word. Or, for that matter, when it comes to kissing. There aren't too many good kissers on Korean TV, IMHO. When I first started watching Kdramas a couple of years back, I remember commenting to a friend how bad most of the kissing scenes were. Now, I'm just used to it. [Off-topic from here] That's why I was totally amazed at the transformation of Park Shin Hye's kissing from Heirs to Pinocchio. Someone pointed out that Lee Jong Suk taught PSH to kiss!
It was truly night and day seeing the difference in her! You wouldn't have known it was the same actress doing the kissing scenes.-

Well, wouldn't you want to keep your lips pursed if you knew any number of males who had the opportunity to kiss you would stick their tongues right in if given the slightest chance when your lips "moved"? Especially from the BTS, her co-star LJW looked really happy to be doing the kissing scene.
I say better safe than sorry.

@wiscpenn it's part of their character attire, I think in the studio there's a replica of their room, house, or etc., when they will be shooting it indoors
OIC, they're both in their character outfits. Makes sense but, it never even crossed my mind. Silly me actually thought everyone who used the studio had to go without their shoes. OMG ... I'm embarrassed at how stupid I am. Maybe I'm the dumb blonde (or brunette) here.

I admit that I've been following HJW's instagram posts especially those pictures she posted which is quite mysterious at times, and on the back of my mind I wondered if there's a hidden message of it or is she inlove? for days I am suspecting but after weeks and months that's the time I found out that what she posted before is always related to her work
nothing personal. I can say that HJW is quite symbolic with her posts sometimes which can be misleading, but after more than 2 times I found out that all those posts I've been suspected was only a teaser of her upcoming activity or work, I did say before in here that I will not hope anymore with HJW's instagram posts that it can be possibly related to her lovelife coz it's totally an update related to her work.
So, I agree with @dawnshine that HJW is experienced enough of how this showbiz industry works so she must be extra careful to protect her privacy. I think this time knets and cnets are just quite overwhelmed to it since it can be considered as HJW's first scandalHi All. Been actively keeping away from Soompi and HJW news for the past few weeks since I haven't started watching TTWWNIL. I can't resist logging in and adding my 2 cents worth since THAT rumor exploded (and not the NK one, no pun intended) when I came in just now to take a peek at her goings-on.
1) I have to agree with @ferlycious that her IG posts can be misleading, and I too sometimes wonder if there is more to the images she posts. But then, we can't blame her for that but just us for our active imagination.
2) I love how her entertainment company Haewadal and her 1023ers come to her defense. So swift and accurate in knocking down the rumors point for point. It's like watching a good debate.
Call me crazy, but I also think that her "people" are in this forum too, since I've had a couple of my "critical" Just-Stating-My-Point-Of-View posts deleted (relating to what I thought of people wearing sunglasses indoors) since those posts weren't exactly all flattering of HJW. OR, it could just be bad luck that during the move from old to new Soompi only my critical posts got lost in cyberland.
3) As ferlycious said, and I agree, she's very experienced in this industry, and even though she may portray herself (e.g. Go Go with Unni) as childish, silly and disorganized at times (cue dinner party preparations
), I for one, think she is much too intelligent to let scandals of this sort to get the better of her. She is way, way, way smarter than she lets on. She's no dumb blonde, that's for sure.So, this sorts of rumors though good fodder and light up discussions everywhere, they are just that for HJW ... water off a duck's back. IMHO.

Not a nice or ladylike thing to do. Was that what was going on in this scene? Seems such an un-Korean thing to be doing where decorum and manners matter so much in that society.I'm not watching the drama just yet until more eps have aired. I don't want to be pining for the next episodes every week if I stay too current.

- Why is rice chosen as the gift sent by fans to their favorite celebs? I noticed some in earlier pix were to LJW. Is the rice for HJW's birthday, or for the upcoming drama?
- Where will the rice go? To the charities of the celeb's choice, or already decided by the fans?
Very curious about it all since this is the first time I'm seeing rice sent as gifts.

Beautiful as she is, I actually don't like seeing her wearing sunglasses while indoors. The one with her in the white trench without sunglasses at Incheon (going to Shanghai) looked better than the one with her in the grey coat with sunglasses heading back to Incheon.
This is just personal opinion, but I find that when people wear sunglasses while indoors (without sun, the irony of it all) are just calling for more (and NOT less attention) to themselves. It calls for people to take a second look. To me, it just screams "Lookie my way, I'm a celeb!" Maybe she was tired, and was trying to hide the dark circles under her eyes, but sunglasses indoors? Nope, don't like it.
Now, you guys know I love HJW, so I'm NOT besmirching her in any way. Still ADORE this lady. :x Just stating my viewpoint.
She's already beautiful without those damn shades. Sorry, guys, I get really irritated when I see her in shades in those airport shots. They do nothing for her except call attention to her.

I do admire her for her sense of adventure.
First, learning English and now, this reality show in a foreign land. Although I have to say, she won't be putting her English to good use any time soon in France. Third language here she comes!

I can totally see HJW as a smart, strong, independent, 35+ fashion maven. Closer to how she is in real life.
Mmmm ... I hope the set and costume designers can bring some of the glamor from "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Sex and the City" to this drama. ;
I don't care who the male lead is, as long as he can act (i.e. has the acting chops to go toe-to-toe with HJW), is not wooden, and not in his 20s. I'm afraid they'll settle for an actor more for his popularity than anything else.
Recently, I caught a drama with a pretty popular actor (according to all the fangirling I read on the net), but honestly, his acting was just plain bad. He was so wooden in that drama that he looked constipated throughout, even during the make-out scene, if that's possible. I saw his name mentioned in one of the posts, so I'm scared. Very scared.
I just hope they choose the "right" actor to co-star with HJW.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone!
It's always amazing to see HJW keeping busy all the time - even during the year-end holiday period. When does she have any alone time?
A special shout-out to @mylastwishes to thank you for your recaps of Go Go With Unnie. Your unique spin on things and side comments keep me wanting to read on and on ... it puts a smile on my face especially when you have dialogues written between HJW and her sister. Her driving, her parking, the foam-maker, Yookyung's comments about HJW's jeon, their "alcoholism"... Funny!
I know you're busy but I hope you'll keep it up to the last GGWU episode. I think your recaps captured many things that I never knew when I saw the eps online. So, gomowo.
