    Ya agreed with you dramalover.

    Without Ji Woo the only thing i know about korea is 'WAR'.Sad but that the fact.I didn't even know where korea is .

    I don't care about the rating but i do care for jiwoo(she always being blame for low rating).In the end, to me jiwoo is more precious than a rating.

    Overseas Fans Backed Choi Ji Woo’s Star’s Lover

    Despite the low TV ratings from the debuting two episodes, Choi Ji Woo’s new drama “Star’s Lover” is gaining support from audiences worldwide, particularly in the Asia and European regions.

    In a phone interview with the webmaster of “Star’s Lover” official web, the representative in charge said: “There were surging number of comments left behind by overseas fans on the board since the airing of the drama. ‘Korean Wave’ star Choi Ji Woo not only enjoys a high popularity in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, she is also gaining popularity in places like Thailand and the European regions.”

    In fact, there were a number of comments posted on the board by fans from Thailand, Taiwan, Germany and Turkey etc.

    A Turkey fan nicknamed “onlyyoufan” wrote in Korean “Ji Woo, fighting!” after a simple greeting in Turkish language. Another fan from Thailand “nandaoluo” wrote: “I have watched every single drama/movies from Choi Ji Woo. Because of her, I now have a deeper understanding of the Korean culture.”

    As for regions not yet hit by the Korean Wave such as the European regions, a comment posted by German fan “beach730″ attracted the attention of the webmaster and other forumers. The fan wrote: “My friend and I have watched the first two episodes of Star’s Lover through the SBS website. I hope that this drama can be shown in Europe soon.”

    Personally, I gave the drama a try and found that it is really not bad. The pace is fast and their actings are good as well. But it feels like a typical fairy-tale-like plot, which traditionally should appeal to the masses ,however it’s single digit TV ratings speaks otherwise.

    Star's Lover will air tonight.

    there is lot of reason i want to see it:-

    1.Choi ji woo

    2.Choi ji woo and ballet :wub:

    3.Choi ji woo wearing ancient dress and acting in ancient drama.. B)

    4.The cast..handsome and charisma Ji tae,the cute LKW.. :P

    5.the chemistry between jiwoo jitae and jiwoo kiwoo( a lovey dovey scene included :P )

    6.The story.

    7.The cameo.

    and lot more.... :P

    Hope for the sucess of Star's lover.Can't wait to see jiwoo in drama after more than years waiting.

    Read in coolsmurf blog about the accident happened at the presscon.The production without any prior notification ask the press to come for presscon.When they knew the prescon is fake,they leave the hall bacause they think they being fooled . I felt bad for jiwoo because she the main focus there.:tears:

    I'm happy to know jiwoo as the highest paid actress.Thanks for sharing.

    I'm also glad to hear jiwoo cut 30% of her fee in star's lover.She do a good deed. Hope her hardwork is payable.

    According to the reporters from Korea, the Korea Fair Trade Commission made an investigation on the contracts of Korean celebrities.

    They discovered that 345 korean celebrities (including Jun Ji-hyun) were forced by their management companies to sign an unfair contract - they have no privacy at all, they have to report who their friends are, their health and even their sexual live.

    The Korea Fair Trade Commission said that they had investigated on the contracts of 345 contracts in 10 Korea Entertainment Management Companies. The results show that except some A-list celebrities, most celebs had signed contracts that are in their disadvantage, and these include Jun Ji-hyun, Jung Woo Sung from SidusHQ, Choi Ji-woo from Olive and Moon Geun Young from NamooActors.

    Apparently, their management company will add an additional act on the concert contract of the celebrity, which is the celebrity must report every detail in their private life : if they had done dirty stuff or thing that will give you a bad reputation before he or she became famous, he or she must tell all of them out. The management company might not keep this as a secret, but instead they might use this event and make it a scandal to boost the celebrity's popularity up. The management company will even use and control the celebrities' love lives.

    Take Moon Geun Young is an example. She got into an university two years ago, her management company often announce her excellent academic result and how she;s getting on with her studying in order to create a good student image. However, her management compant announced that she had to quit school because of her busy schedule this year. From this, we can see that she is completely controlled by her management company.

    The Korea Fair Trade Commision has already requested the management companies to make changes and improve the contracts. 204 celebrities' contract had been altered

    The 10 entertainment companies that had been investigated on are: IHQ(Jun Ji-hyun, Jung Woo Sung ), JYP (wonder girls, 2AM, 2 PM), SM Entertainment ( Dong Bang Shin Ki, BoA), Olive9(Choi Ji-woo ) ,Fantom Entertainment,Mnet Media( Lee Hyori, SG Wannabe)、BOF(Bae Yong Joon), Wellmade STARM(, Namoo Actors(Moon Geun Young ).

    yeah..really love the trailer.When i read lee Mari character,the first thing pop up in my mind is beautiful dress and make up and i said to myself finally, else that jiwoo comeback..i can see her wearing beautiful and different dresses.Haha.

    Gosh i think my head are full with Lee Mari nowaday.
