    WoW! You must be a huge fan of SL, ixory – thanks for highlighting. I am not done with SL as I had a long break recently. Hope to catch up soon and btw, that Chul-Soo’s reporter friend is really an expert in shooting-off his “unprofessional” mouth – just shut-up and switch job! :P

    I have a sudden urge to re-watch "Message" after seeing the rekindled-interaction of both main leads, SSH and CJW at the Star Avenue event. It makes it even sweeter knowing that they were once a rumored-couple. If I am not mistaken, Cha Seong-Won (another big-time movie star) played SSH chingu in Message. Thanks 2uss for posting the Message-couple banner. :)

    yeah that CS friend the reporter or everybody called him the idiot in SL thread,i just wanna slap his face everytime he as you said 'shooting-off his unprofessional mouth'.

    Talking about jiwoo and SSH,Jiwoo once a quest in SSH series,3 man 3 woman(correct me if i'm wrong).SSH and jiwoo are so cute in that series and i think they had more on-air scene that 'Message'.Love to see both of them in another project again.

    Kang Ji Hwan sure looks like Lee Ji Hoon. KJH must be a funny guy because Ji Woo was laughing hard when she was talking to him. I thought Park Yong Ha would be in Star Avenue opening also, but I didn't see any picture of him. Rain seemed to be very serious on the pictures. I noticed Ji Woo's beautiful ring on her left ring finger.

    This must be Ji Woo's year to meet her previous drama partners. First she met Lee Byung Hun in the opening of his store. Then she met Song Seung Hun on 6/30/09. On 9/29/09, Ji Woo & Bae Yong Joon will be on the same stage in Japan to promote the Winter Sonata anime. Who's missing in the reunion? Jang Dong Gun?

    I love to see jiwoo with SSH talking to each other where once they were rumor to be a couple.How sweet. :wub: .

    Anyway,I'm not from korea. :P .I'm from Malaysia.Usually i just use naver or cyworld website to get latest info on jiwoo.They much faster.hehe..

    This picture taken in Star's Lover.If you remember correctly in Episode 1 when Chulsoo Friend aka nosy reporter(ok i can't remember his name) went to CS aunts restaurant (when he tell about Lee Mari scandal)and brought some burger .The paper bag of that burger have Lee Mari aka pic that post above . :P

    Glad to hear all about Ji Woo's schedule for the rest of the year. She sure will be very busy. By the way, is the Star Avenue opening on June 30 or September 30? Two of Ji Woo's previous co-stars, Song Seung Hun (Message) & Park Yong Ha (Winter Sonata) will be in the opening of Star Avenue, wow. Thanks ixory for all the information.

    Rekindling Korean Wave

    'Unamjeong,’ Star Avenue to Open This Month

    Some say Hallyu is over. Others, though, say the phenomenon is far from dead. They believe that new, improved Hallyu-related attractions are required ― not just the exportation of Korean dramas and movies.

    Their calls may be answered if the latest at Lotte World in Jamsil, southeastern Seoul, is any kind of pointer. An entertainment venue named ``Star Avenue" will open on June 30 and will offer various exhibitions and information on nine Hallyu stars and groups.

    With entertainment content about Korea's representative stars, Star Avenue will give foreign visitors a chance to enjoy the Korean Wave in a fresh way," said Kim Nam-sik, director of the Star Avenue PR agency.

    The nine are models for the Lotte duty free shop: music stars TVXQ, Rain and Big Bang; actors Park Yong-ha, Song Seung-heon, Choi Ji-woo, Ji Sung and Kang Ji-hwan; and Japanese transgender makeup artist Ikko.

    The 1,100-square-meter hall is comprised of five sections ― Star Showcase, Star Center, Music Star, Drama Star and With Star.Star Showcase is an exhibition of the entertainers' items, such as soap opera props.

    ``Song donated a motorbike helmet and a leather jacket which he used in `East of Eden,' and Rain, his concert costumes," Kim said.

    At Star Center, visitors can see the entertainers' music videos and film scenes on a 360-degree, high-definition screen, which has been adopted in Korea for the first time.

    Music Star has a small concert stage where visitors can select a song from a jukebox and then sing along and dance as if they are pop singers themselves. Their performances can also be recorded on CD.

    ``We also plan to have the stars hold autograph ceremonies for fans at Music Star," Kim said.

    At Drama Star, sets from ``Jewel in the Palace," ``East of Eden'' and ``Jumong" are set up. Visitors can try on costumes used in the dramas and have their picture taken.

    With Star provides visitors with a chance to become part of the soap operas ― they can have composite photos of themselves taken in a scene from the dramas, and on movie posters or CD covers. They can then be printed on stickers.

    Admission is 10,000 won, with proceeds to be donated to charity.

    ``We expect Star Avenue to bring tourists to southern Seoul and develop the region as a tourism and shopping destination. Lotte is developing package programs including a visit to Star Avenue. A shuttle service connecting Lotte World in southern and Lotte Hotel in northern Seoul is also under consideration," Kim said.

    At the opening ceremony on June 30, stars including Rain, Choi and Song will attend.

    Choi Ji-woo Donates W100 Million for Poor Children

    Actress Choi Ji-woo will donate a W100 million (US$1=W1,282) worth of scholarships for poor students in Busan, her hometown.

    The Busan Office of Education on Wednesday said the actress will hand out the scholarships when she attends a campaign aimed at improving the educational environment and nurturing human resources on July 1.

    Since 2000, the actress has also donated W300 million to her high school in Busan to provide scholarships for needy students.

    Thanks for posting. Who's the guy on the second picture. I remember, Ji Woo was also one of the South Korean celebrity most admired by her colleagues two or three years ago. Ji Woo is such a sweet caring, kind, beautiful & talented person, so it's no surprise that she'll be admired by other stars.

    The guy on the second picture is Shin Hye Sung.He is one of the members of Korean popular boy band SHINHWA.

    as he said in interview CJW is his ideal girl. :D

    Hyesung "All along my ideal gf is Choi Ji Woo"

    Last month releasing his new solo album "The beginning, new days", sale no.1 shinhwa member Shin HyeSung through broadcast reveal his ideal girl.

    Shin Hyesung on 12th October 5:50pm broadcast in MBC DRAMA NET "Park KyungRim's Granduer outdoor" appearance, he was being punished and questioned "Within the female artist, have you ever thought of dating one?" Shin Hyesung replied, "All along my ideal style is actress Choi Ji Woo."

    Continue being question, "If ChoiJiWoo had made the DASH will there be any thoughts on dating with her?" His reply, "Ideal style is just an ideal thought only. If it's for dating, why not just keep the ideal in heart."

    Mc ParkKyungRim question again: "Recent any thoughts on dating a female artist?" Hyesung replied, "Due to it's autumn now and lately i have been feeling lonely, every female artist appeard on the tv screen i will feel they are miraclely beautiful." and he add on, "Even KyungRim seems pretty too." the whole studio was then broke into laughters.

    And he add on, "Without a girlfriend in this autumn season, seems like it's more lonely."
