    Did you monitor 1N2D while you were gone?
    “I’d sometimes watch the rerun or watch online. Every once in a while, I’d think, “If I was there, I would have done this”.

    Was there a 1N2D member you keep in contact with?
    “Yoon Shiyoon Hyung is the member that’s the most similar in age as me - he’d say, “You have to be here for there to be synergy. I hope you return soon”. Cha Taehyun Hyung would ask when I’m coming back every once in a while too. I didn’t pay much attention to those words. I was busy living so I wasn’t in the state to be caring about others (laugh). I’m really close with all the members. They’re all cool hyungs, so they didn’t do things like give me comfort or advice. I was thankful. But they did encourage me, telling me to rest up.”

    When the members had an interview, they’d mention Jung Joonyoung often.
    “They probably thought that by constantly saying things like that, I wouldn’t feel any burden when I return.”

    Did you feel any burden or pressure when you returned?
    “I was suddenly informed of my return two days before filming. If anything, having no time to think about it was better.”

    You went hiking for your return and the viewer response was good.
    “The staff put a lot of thought into it. The thing I hate the most in the world is hiking, but I though hiking that day was a good thing. It was tough, but I got to collect my thoughts. I was wordlessly climbing up the mountain by myself, so my mind naturally organized itself. When I got to the peak, I felt like I could shake things off.”

    What is 1N2D to Jung Joonyoung?
    “A show that’s like family. I’m close with not just the members, but the staff too. I’m close with all the camera, light and sound directors. They all feel like family. Since we’ve all worked hard together, I’ve grown attached to all the staff. On the day of my return, a lot of the directors came to welcome me when the cameras were off. I felt the warmth of family. The day of filming didn’t feel unfamiliar either. It felt like I was returning to a place I belong to.”

    What’s the charm of 1N2D?
    “In the viewpoint of the viewers, it’s a show that you can watch comfortably. It has a comfortable charm that’s neither heavy or light, so even if you just turn to it, you can watch comfortably.”

    What’s the reason the viewers love Jung Joonyoung?
    “I think they like seeing me get along well with the hyungs. I’m not particularly interesting or funny, but there’s good synergy when I’m with the hyungs. The funny ones are Kim Junho and Kim Jongmin, I just help the hyungs.”

    What are your plans for 2017?
    “I don’t think I’ll do a lot of activities. I want to be free. I ran without rest up till now, I want to rest this time around and appreciate the importance of freedom. The only show I’m a regular on is 1N2D. And I’ll have some concerts too. Since I’ll have a lot of time, I think music will came to me more easily too. Rather than a lot of activities, I plan to spend it freely and healthily.”

    @jakel letterhead Hello! Welcome to the thread~! Funny how Donggu asked JJY to protect him from the wolves and how Junho was happy that JJY's back and there'd be someone to tease him or talk back to him in the show.

    We missed you uri maknae :cold_sweat:  Did Kim Junho cried? His eyes were red as he hugged JJY. That JJY kiss to KJH felt like he is his appa. And CTH like a real hyung when he kicked his butt and told him don't you dare leave us again. It was a warm welcome and I'm crying a river as I watched them :bawling: , six members in one screen! Daebak!  How am I gonna take it when Joohyuk hyung joins them next? Yes, this is happening and 1n2d is jjang! Don't surprise us with having Yoo PD crayfish as well! Yes, do that please Yoo Ilyong PDnim~! Saranghaeyo~! :blush: Let's go! 1n2d, Fighting~! Ratings rise up a little bit, 20.4%. Happy second week of 20%+ ratings 1n2d!

    According to Nielsen Korea on the 23rd, the audience rating of '1 night and 2 days' on the 22nd recorded 20.4% nationwide, surpassing the audience rating of 20% for the second consecutive week and ranked 1st for 61 consecutive weeks. It has secured the number one spot in performing arts. In addition, in the scene where the members stare at the youngest actor, Jung Joon-young's face, the momentum rating has risen to 26.0% (based on Nielsen metropolitan area), proving its strength.

    I really hope they won't drag this into 3 parts. I want to see them reunited on this week's episode. Yoo PD-nim, please do not make us wait any longer. Be ready to cry a river when JJY returns. Tears of joy. This is the only variety that makes me cry, bringing heartwarming and touching episodes and not only for the laughs. 

    When Kim Junho pointed out his slave for always being part of the games and asked if he want to replace JJY, the look in his face is like, "Ya, chougule?" Lol~! And that genuine happiness plastered on his face shown on JJY comeback preview is love. Saranghaeyo mat-hyung~! Truly, remember each member forever!

    I totally agree with this. Also, to each is his own, that's called free will. Just because they don't have same opinion as the others, doesnt mean they are wrong.

     Concur. I'd rather talk about something else than see how fans here on this forum argue which is better, which is bad. 

    A "true" 1n2d fan, Joo Hyuk's, Yoo PD's, JJY's, Junho's, CTH's, Jongmin's, Defconn's or the KBS', even if everyone else decided not to watch, there'd still be like maybe 3% ratings for this show. Who are they?? The trolls -- those watching the show just to find something to hate and bring the show down and also just those random people and not fans browsing the TV on a lazy Sunday afternoon and find this show. Whoever you root for, as long as you're not one of those trolls and wish good things to happen to 1n2d, whether you watch regularly or just live streaming, it doesnt matter. Just keep loving 1n2d! Remember each member forever, not only for 1n2d show members and staff, but also for this forum's members!

    I think uri Junho hyung showed humility and maturity at the opening of this episode, having his hair shaved like the old practice of reflection (be it intentional or not) is a touching way of apology in behalf of uri maknae. He certainly acted as a leader of the group this time. Like he said, the show must go on. 

    I like how they showed their support and love to JJY even if during the filming of this episode, JJY was not yet acquitted, only later on. 1n2d just proved that it is not just a show for laughs but it is a family which will stay and be with each member no matter what. 

    I am thinking positively that JJY will definitely come back to this show. Imagine a scene where our eldest Kim Juhyeok comes in holding JJY in his ear and dragging him to shoot with the other members. That would be daebak!

    I thank God for giving me a critical mind in thinking about all this mess. That's when I kept trusting uri maknae JJY. When I first heard this, I was perplexed, but I never doubted him even a bit, I defended him, I tried to knack some sense to hate commenters, he won't be that kind of guy.

    Most of us here and the JJY fans did such things for him, went to polls and voted for him, commented positively on most sites, be it in English or Korean, and eventually those good comments spread like fire and before we all could see it, this positivity turned up the tides. To all of you who shared your thoughts, who kept updating, who never backed down ~ thank you so much! 

    My son, who doesn't watch any Korean show but 1n2d, is a JJY fan as well. He likes the quirkiness in him, the little naughty boy in JJY. I never told him anything about this mess as it will sure break my heart to see his adoration of JJY gone. He may be acquitted, yes, but this mess already tarnished his reputation in one way or another.

    I find the recent episode hilarious because of Joo PD and CTH. He is noticeably new but his honest mistakes are really comical. I might be less happy watching future episodes without JJY but I look forward seeing more of Joo PD -CTH tandem. 

    Remember each member forever! To our maknae JJY, we will wait until you're OK! Be better and stronger on your comeback.

    Yeah, it is Friday, but I don't have the same enthusiasm that I had before whenever weekend arrives. Even if I could still watch JJY on this Sunday's 1n2d episode, this whole mess is just making me feel down. I am a JJY fan before I became a 1n2d fan. As his fan, I felt really sad of his temporary leave from 1n2d and I could decide not to watch 1n2d because he will not be there, I will feel bad seeing the hyungs having fun without him.

    But, I think JJY will not be wanting his fans to hear this. He loves 1n2d and the hyungs, he asks everyone's support for 1n2d even if he's leaving. JJY acted mature facing his controversy. Fans should follow his lead as well. Korean fans, please continue supporting 1n2d, especially JJY fans, even without him. 

    I will still watch 1n2d, for the love of the hyungs that I learnt to love as well. Me watching 1n2d doesn't contribute in the ratings since I'm not in Korea, but as a member of this forum, I could contribute by trying to ask everyone, 1n2d fans, JJY fans, uri hyungs fans to please continue watching 1n2d. Remember each member forever~!
