which scene are you talking about i mean in the first episode there are two or three scenes...which one are you talking about?

and about Snowman ummm well i have'nt watched the full series i just watched a few episodes and whats more saddening is there's only one ahem ahem scene lol but its nice and intersting...and as its Mr Raewon's so im sure you'll gonna have fun while watching

I've never seen so many kissing scenes in a Kdrama before and I find it refreshing that they're veering away from the typical Kdrama "dead fish lip-lock". It's about time that Kdrama kiss scenes leveled up. I'm really looking forward to seeing more steamy scenes between the leads. Though we're only in episode 4, I'm really loving this drama. I don't find it dragging at all. I'm all in for the angst. Can't wait for episode 5!

@bold....so true...i was thinking the same....eventhough I hvnt watched many of korean dramas but wtever i hv watched of KRWs there were hardly 5 kisses in whole drama (e.g. What Star u are from, Attic Cat, Love Story in Harvard n My Love Patzzi) n here we have almost 10 kisses in 4 epis (just a tentative count) but still M loving it.......

I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who is contributing to the thread!
I finished all four episodes this weekend and for once in my life, I'm really eager for Monday to come! I also think that Hyang-gi's mother could be Seo-yeon's mother. Perhaps her plastic surgery addiction is a way for her to erase her past so that no one can recognize her. The way she's so overprotective of Hyang-gi could be because she feels that she needs to make up for the child she had once thrown away. Also, it's such a waste to cast Lee Mi-sook as the role of just Hyang-gi's mother and I feel that there is a back story to her character. I don't think Lee Mi-sook would have agreed to being just the mom to a secondary character without there being something there. (And I also want there to be a chance for Jae-min without having to go through cousin-loving.)

Jung Yoo Mi Pasted Photos of Kim Rae Won in Room to Get True Love
She is not the Jung Yoo Mi in the movie “The Crucible”, but Jung Yoo Mi who is acting in the One Thousand Days’ Promise written by Kim Soo Hyun scriptwriter which is in hot discussion. In One Thousand Days’ Promise, Jung Yoo Mi plays the role of Noh Hyang Ki who is a daughter from weighty family. She is innocent, loves Ji Hyung (played by Kim Rae Won) without the slightest distraction, and never doubts himself and his promise of marriage. In front of Ji Hyung, she does not have own view and self esteem at all.
“In order not to give anybody trouble, of course I feel that I am nervous. For the work of Kim Su Hyun, the audience has more real-time reactions and response. This made me felt burdensome, so I feel that must do it perfectly.
Although until now only 2 episodes have been aired, but she has personally felt the popularity of the show. In order to match her identity of wealthy girl in the drama, there is adequate fashion sponsorship. Even those brands that previously said, “She is rookie, so may be cannot,” have contacted her after the broadcast, let her felt the power of popularity.

To become a true Noh Hyang Ki, she also used several recourses. In order to be able to love Ji Hung (Kim Rae Won) more realistically, Jung Yoo Mi pasted the photo of Kim Rae Won is every corners of her room. In the drama, she becomes a rival in love of Soo Ae unintentionally. About Soo Ae, she said, “She usually does not talk much, relatively quiet, inner strength appears to be very strong.”
“When first read the script, I felt the the personality of the role is a little bit different from mine. Because if knowingly love a person blindly and purely is a little bit foolish. So when getting start with the character it’s not so easy. I thought it’s only difficult when playing antagonist or insane role, but actually to play the change of feeling which can shed tears because of a sentence of man but can also happy if not so easy. The dialog lines which are unique to the writer also made me felt there is some level of difficulty.”
As the theme of the TV series is more serious, Jung Yu Mi afraid that she may looks like “a balloon blew by wind,” and so deliberately lowers down her voice. But everybody wants her to interpret the character as more lively. The character she played can be counted as the only bright role in the otherwise dull shaded drama series.
Senior actor Park Young Kyu encourages her, “The role of Noh Hyang Ki supposedly to be acted by a person like Hyang Ki, if not then it’s bad. You just like Hyang Ki.”
Due to same name with others, Jung Yoo Mi has also gone through a lot of things that both funny and annoying. Because the response to the drama is good, Jung Yoo Mi is also excited when speaking, however, when talking about the name, she became slightly serious again.
“A few years ago because I wanted to change the name, and the representative from the company had also been to naming company to consult. But because I had always continue my showbiz activities, and my name Jung Yu Mi had already been printed on movie posters and various promotional materials, so the thing has been dragged on. Before appearing in this drama, I have thinking of must change the name, but my real name has again been printed on three movies that are going to be on air soon, namely “Wonderful Radio, “You Pet” and a Chinese film, so have to give up the plan again.”
Now she has basically abandons the idea to change name. She said, “Once my agent took my information and photo for a director to see, but only afterwards he knew that director thought I am another Jung Yu Mi. Although I have been hurt a lot, but I guess she (the other Jung Yoo Mi) has also suffered damage due to same name. Since it has been the case, I hope that we can both win though.
“I feel that A Thousand Days’ Promise is a work that will let me learn a lot. Be it acting skill, strength of acting, ups and downs of the emotion, and many others, there is simply too much new things. And the way to treat crews, director and writer is also different. I feel that this is the drama that will let me grow a lot. Not to mention that through this drama will increase level of awareness of me, but it’s already an honor to be able to cooperate with everybody through the time, and go to the finish line together.”

A speculation......I just thought isn't it possible that Hyang Gi's mom can be the mother of Soo-Ae who left her kids behind and ran away.
Just a thought as might be this will be the future suspense to get Soo-Ae and Mr. Park together.
Let me know if anyone else any other thoughts.

u are so right which saying so..I have watched around 5-6 shows of KRW till now that too in a very short time span of 3 weeks and frankly speaking i cant think of anything else these days....just open net and star googling abt him to find more info or pics or anything about him...

watched his earlier shows in last 3 weeks (on an average 3 days for a show) completed Lave Story in harvard, What star did u come from, my love patzzi, Attic Cat, right now watching gourmet and snowman and obviously A Thousand Days Promise....
I have to say that KRW is one of the most dashing and handsome hunk on TV i hv seen so far and his acting capability is par excellence, his smile gives makes me grin while his staring or romantic looks give me goosebumps......just cant think anything else these days.
so just curious is there anyone else having same kind of addiction towards him......or may be more.
FYI....m from india, dont know Korean language at all but love how the culture is shown in Korean shows, also how Love is portrayed between 2 people is so genuine and true nothing like showing off......

hi all....
m very much new to korean shows and just started watching it few weeks ago. but still in few weeks i have watched many of Kim Rae Won's show like Love Story in Harvard, My Love Patzzi, Attic Cat, Gourmet, Snowman and now Thousand Days of Promise.
I'd like to watch this life is beautiful show also but could not find any site where I can get the online videos, can anyone tell me where can I watch it.

@florathis is sadhli frm india. And hyang gi's mom to be soo ae's mother too is just a guess or u cn say a future speculation as i dont feel anything else as a bigger twist in storyline.And might be then only hyang gi's mom allow mr. Park to go to his love i.e. Her elder daughter.
