Song Seung Heon And Jo Bo Ah In Talks To Star In New Mystery Thriller Film
Song Seung Heon and Jo Bo Ah have been offered roles in a new movie!
On November 25, a source from the entertainment industry reported that the two actors will work together in a film titled “Hidden Face” (literal translation).
In response to the news, Song Seung Heon’s agency King Kong by Starship and Jo Bo Ah’s agency KeyEast shared that the actors received offers to star in the movie and are positively reviewing them.
“Hidden Face” is a mystery thriller movie that tells the story of one person who gets trapped inside their lover’s secret room in the house. It is a remake of a Spanish-Columbian movie of the same name that starred Martina Garcia and Quim Gutierrez.
The film will be directed by Kim Dae Woo, who previously produced “Obsessed,” which starred Song Seung Heon as the male lead.
If Song Seung Heon accepts the role, he will be reuniting with Kim Dae Woo after about seven years. The actor shined with his remarkable acting in various movies and dramas, including “Miss Wife” and “Voice 4.”
Jo Bo Ah also impressed with her brilliant performance in diverse projects like “Forest” and “Tale of the Nine-Tailed.” The last time she starred in a movie was back in 2014 when she played the lead female in “Innocent Thing.”
Song Seung Heon is currently in talks to star in the drama “Delivery Knight” (working title) with Kim Woo Bin and Esom, while Jo Bo Ah has confirmed to star alongside Ahn Bo Hyun in the new tvN drama “Military Prosecutor Doberman” (literal title).

It seems KHC mentioned how surprised he was about JBA on showing her inner side. LOL!
He then noted that the production team had jokingly warned the cast that they were in for some surprises while watching the show, seemingly referring to the many betrayals that would be revealed on the program.

Lee Seung Gi, EXO’s Kai, Super Junior’s Heechul, Park Na Rae, And More Dish On The Friendships And Betrayal In Store On Variety Show “New World”
At the online press conference for Netflix’s upcoming series “New World,” the cast talked about their experience filming the variety show!
“New World” is a new variety program starring Lee Seung Gi, EXO’s Kai, Super Junior’s Kim Heechul, Park Na Rae, Jo Bo Ah, and SECHSKIES’s Eun Ji Won. For six days, the stars will be staying together at a picturesque island where they will play games and forge friendships—with a few shocking twists and betrayals along the way.
On November 17, the cast members and producing directors (PDs) sat down for a press conference in which they shared their thoughts on filming and discussed what viewers could look forward to.
Jokingly referring to Eun Ji Won’s “villainous” role in the show, Lee Seung Gi remarked, “It was so nice and comfortable filming together with Eun Ji Won. In these kinds of variety programs, someone has to play the role of the villain, but when I was doing villainous things next to him, I didn’t feel any pressure. Because I had faith that Eun Ji Won in particular would be good at betraying people. I had faith that whatever Eun Ji Won said would definitely not be the truth.” He added, “I’ve been on a lot of different kinds of [variety] programs, but I’ve never seen a character like Eun Ji Won’s before.”
Eun Ji Won playfully responded, “It was great seeing Seung Gi again for the first time in a long while. On the inside, I’d thought to myself that when we played games, he’d be on my side no matter what—but he didn’t go easy on me, which was a little disappointing.”
He went on to note, “While filming this program, I realized that I’ve become a lot softer and more easygoing. I’ve become a lot kinder.”
Lee Seung Gi teasingly chimed in, “I agree. In the past, when he betrayed other people, he didn’t feel apologetic at all. But this time, he seemed apologetic. Eun Ji Won will be showcasing warm-hearted betrayal on this show.”
SpoilerMeanwhile, EXO’s Kai shared that he had discovered new sides of his own personality while filming “New World.”
“I felt like this is a new kind of program that I’ve never seen before,” said Kai. “When I joined ‘New World,’ setting aside the fact that it was a variety show, it seemed like it would be so much fun. I thought that rather than simply participating in a variety show, I’d be able to experience a new side of myself in a new and different world. And while filming, there were actually times when I thought to myself, ‘Oh, so there was this kind of side to me as well.'”
SpoilerPark Na Rae remarked, “I’d been curious what kinds of things would happen if the members lived on an island for six days, but the things that happened exceeded my imagination.”
She went on to recall, “When I first met with the PD [producing director], I was asked, ‘If you were able to live freely in a new world that you had dreamed up, what kinds of things would you want to do?’ I replied, ‘But that would take a lot of money.’ They said, ‘Don’t worry about that. We’ll make all of it happen,’ which made my heart start racing.”

Deja vu for many of us who walked through Season 1 to 4. They are really scandal-ridden. What I do hope is that they bring back more interaction with the public and crew members. The last few weeks' contents had been so restricted by Covid that the writers are almost running themselves into the ground. I hope they do something before viewership hits below 5%.
...can't help but mention for Korean celebrities to survive, they ought to guard their private space more judiciously.....like some of the Japanese ones do.
Same thought... When they went to Jeju Island in their latest episode, it makes me miss their interaction with the netizens/ local residents. And I miss their interactions with other celebrities too like when they are on a mission in KBS Building, they usually look for people at Music Bank recording or KBS different department offices... Hopefully they will get some ideas and activities to do with their upcoming guest/ guests despite this ongoing pandemic.
@youngworld2 I couldn't help but to resemble him to Lee Seung Gi everytime I see old videos of his younger days. Especially their smile.

I agree with the production's decision... I think KBS has been very careful since they already experienced it in S3 when they brought back JJY then it turned out that the allegations were true and it was worse that jeopardized the show causing to revamp the program with all new members and because of the issue that staff's job was affected, some decided to leave the show and the network. So they're now playing safe so as to maintain all the staff and remaining members with what they have now just to keep them moving forward...

Nov 8, 2021Lee Hwang Sun, the chief producer (CP) of “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4,” has responded to the petitions regarding Kim Seon Ho’s departure from the show.
Kim Seon Ho officially left the show after controversy arose over an anonymous post made by his ex-girlfriend. The actor admitted that he was the actor she was referring to in her post and released an apology before leaving various projects, including “2 Days & 1 Night.” In subsequent weeks, several reports were published refuting the original claims in the anonymous post, although neither Kim Seon Ho nor his agency have commented on them.
Until November 7, the production staff of “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” edited Kim Seon Ho out of the existing footage as much as possible. On November 7, the first episode that had been filmed without him went on air. “Military Prosecutor Doberman” is about a man named Do Bae Man (Ahn Bo Hyun), a military prosecutor who chose the job for money. After meeting Cha Woo In (Jo Bo Ah), a military prosecutor who chose the job for revenge, the two fight evil in the military to become true prosecutors.

In the show’s newly released main poster, the six cast members dream up a fantasy island that can give them everything they want and make all their wishes come true. Above this happily imagined utopia, the caption reads, “A variety show in which a fairytale-esque new world will be revealed.”
However, in order to enjoy all the advantages the island has to offer, the cast must carry out all sorts of unexpected missions that will test their limits and go beyond anything they’ve imagined.
In the new trailer, the six stars are initially ecstatic when they arrive on the gorgeous island and learn that all the funds they gather during their stay will be converted to real money when they leave. I've watched all seasons of 2d1n too. Each season gave different kinds of entertainment to the viewers. It's been one of the longest running shows in SK. Though it's sad to see cast members leave the show 1 by 1, the saddest for me was season 3 for CTH and KJHo that made kbs decide to revamp the show. I thought I wouldn't be able to enjoy watching S4 with the new cast and PDs but I slowly gained back the fun and excitement on watching the show. I think the production staff is the most affected whenever there's an issue regarding a certain member and the chemistry/ morale of the remaining members too are down for they feel sad but they still have to laugh and make the show fun and exciting despite of it... I just wish for them to stay strong to keep on.

In my honest opinion, I think based on the S3 past experience, KBS and the 2d1n S4 production staff will be very extra careful on bringing KSH back. When they brought back JJY after the ex-gf retracted the case against him, a few months later the news came out and it turned to worse because all the allegations turned out to be true and more revelations came out to be serious... But I hope for KSH to come back especially if he's truly innocent...

This did not shock me than the season 3... maybe because I was more invested on Season 3 than this season. I also enjoy this season very much but I was so deeply into season 3 that it hurt me so much before.
Though I'm not so much into fully believing the story of KSH with his ex-gf, but when I recently watched to catch up with the last 3 episodes, I couldn't help but to keep on observing KSH's actions towards his co-members. I couldn't control my mind to think if his actions towards his cast mates were sincere or not... The revelation about him being 2-face and badmouthing his cast mates/ colleagues keep on lingering in my thoughts. I wanted to focus on enjoying the show but this thought keeps creeping in my mind... So this is how I understand the production/show's decision to edit him out on the upcoming episodes and to let go of him, maybe it's for viewers like me who might be watching and seeing him on the show that might always have the thought about his scandal instead of fully enjoying the show... Since what he's done is not considered as a criminal offense, so I hope in the future he could still come back on the show. He may be leaving just to take a break unless the production would get him a replacement.... Maybe after him taking some time off and resolving things out, I'm sure with his great talent, he can bounce back and have a 2nd chance in his career just like other Korean celebrities.
